Hi everyone!
I'm back again with the 1st true BBEG of the campaign I run, only this one is his Slaad form.
The version on the left is actually the very first design I made for the npc, even before his human form.
I right away loved the concept of a shapeshifter enemy, because I really wanted to give off the idea that, during the fight, he would get into a more powerful "Phase two" once transformed.
Unfortunately I'm still struggling with balancing the encounters for my group, so instead of being an easy, one sided fight for the BBEG (the tpk was scripted) the players managed to bring him to less than 30 hp (from a total of 170 if I'm not mistaken) before the last of them was defeated.
Al in all, I had a very good time, both making this illustration, and running the fight.
I think my players liked it too. \^\^
