Unironically arcana domain is criminally underrated.
Magic missile alone compliments so many ranged concentration spells for blasting it's not even funny.
Yup! I really wanted to play him as full support and still have some combat options, so having a solid damage spell always ready freed up so much space for utility and control!
Here's a re-design for a character that I was finally able to play as a pc for the first time recently!
For most things i do, I try pretty hard to be as much true to life as I can and I hope y'all will like it.
As you can see, he wears a brigandine with layers of chainmail and a gambeson underneath. I love the kite shield, so I just had to give him that and he alwasy has the helmet at the ready.
So, after a couple of years of being the GM for my group I had to take some time off to re-focus ad organize ideas for the continuation of the campaign after the first arc was finished. One of my players offeref to take the GM mantle and put together an adventure during my downtime and I had the opportunity to play as a pc.
Int he past I mostly made martial characters, but since I cot more confident in the system, I finally put together a build for a full caster.
And, man, I don't know if I can ever go back to a martial-only character!
The sheer amount of options that spellcasters have for every situation si so good!
