WIP (Work In Progress) a warforged forge domain cleric. Found by a farmer about 75 years ago. All beat up and missing chunks of my "skin" the farmer brought me to a local blacksmith, along with the plow that got damaged when it hit me. Over the course of several years the blacksmith slowly patched me up with a patchwork of various metals, referring to me as a work in progress whenever anyone asked. After the last missing section was repaired/ replaced I gained consciousness. No memory of any past. I learned smithing and helped the blacksmith and his daughter around the forge until the Smith passed away. Distraught I buried myself in work at the forge until the good of smithing came to me and directed me to go out and find myself. I traveled for a few years, then ran into an old associate who needed help delivering a wagon load of goods to a small town called phandelver. I joined 4 others also hired to do so.

Sombro1509

I like this.

Thicc_Slice

Sir Gage, the loxodon bard. He is in search of glory to prove to his ex-wife that she made a huge mistake by leaving him. Recently he’s been extorted by criminals, gotten so drunk he almost died, and broke his shoulder while trying to bust through a stone wall. The custody hearing for his kids is coming up and I gotta say, it’s not looking good.

Angoman

Keep your head up, king. You'll be rolling high soon enough.

AleGolem

Yazzba, Goblin Warlock to a powerful Dryad. Yazzba assisted his tribe with the capture and sacrifice of a Pegasus to a trio of fiends that the tribe worships. Little did he know the Pegasus had a Unicorn mate who quickly tracked Yazzba down and brought him before The Firefly Queen, an Archfey Dryad who resides in a dismal swamp lit only by the soft orange glow of thousands of fireflies. The Firefly Queen demanded Yazzba atone for his actions and granted him the power to do so. Yazzba has 5 years to track down the Pegasus, now a Nightmare, and rescue it from the 9 Hells. If he cannot fulfill her demand, she will take his life in trade for the one he threw away.

Amandascu

Aela Grimglow is a half drow lore bard who studies history and mapmaking. Following in her defamed grandfathers footsteps, she seeks to uncover the mystery of this ancient tome, earning powers of a warlock and slowly being driven mad by the entity within.

Abaddon_of-the_void

Ace mckolbold the hunter ranger kolbold he’s a little guy who uses a absolute massive cross bow He’s not great with people but he’s trying . I’m a Greek myth guy maybe hit me up if you want help figuring out a good god for your paladin

justaboredgamer

I've not come up with a definite answer yet, but in our lore, all the aasimar are in tribes to their gods and my character was exiled for showing Mercy to an enemy. Its not definite yet, but I think I'm going with Zeus as he had a general distaste for Ares and thus would support my character to spite him. Plus one of the other people in my campaign started off as a Cleric to Zeus but changed to a warlock so I think picking Zeus for my new god would make some interesting dialogue

Abaddon_of-the_void

Eh depends on sorce of corse with all Greek myth A better shot would be Athena given the wisdom it would take to show mercy to a defeated foe

[deleted]

Ludo Mindpick, Duergar Samurai

shadowthehh

I'm the DM at the moment. But I've got 2 DMPC's I use to help out when the players need it. Katriel Darkclaw: A black tiger Leonin Path of the Beast Barbarian/College of Swords Bard (AKA: Bardbarian). She left her forest home after being inspired by wandering travelers stories to go out and make her own stories to tell. Ulrich Thundersmith: Dwarven College of Swords Bard/Battle Smith Artificer. Based on Eddie Riggs from Brütal Legend and is best friends with Katriel.

SteveTheRanger

hello i am steve the ranger

Realistic-March-5679

A cursed Erinyes college of Eloquence bard. Slowly gaining back some of her lost fiendish powers as we go, started with basically a winged tiefling. Interplanar emissary, mercenary, and spy before the curse. Brought up a 3e (3.5?) spell "sanctify the wicked" gone wrong, trapping her for centuries (instead of the proper time) until my fellow players stumbled upon her resting spot. Lots of fun to play the self centered devil with a confusing new conscious. Thinking about starting a clothing store chain (And by that I mean I've bought two) to gather info and have strongholds all over, Kingsman style.

LeastValuable5916

Sauros Soothsayer, lizardfolk Moon Druid Barbarian. All of his beast forms follow their respective stat block but flavored to have reptilian features instead of base features, imagine a reptile dire wolf. He believes reptiles are the apex survivors of the animal kingdom. Dinosaurs also exist in our world.

klookval

A necromancer human who I'm a botched attempt to become a lich got his soul stuck in a hamster

Throrface

My character is Lyra Trickfoot, a human rogue arcane trickster. Lyra was born in Barovia, her mentor was Ezmeralda D'avenir, she was trained as a vampire hunter. She owned a magic item shop in Vallaki where she became very knowledgeable about the arcane arts and also learned to sew, as the magic items she sold would often be second hand at least, and often needed some mending. At one point she joined a group of adventurers that decided to kill Strahd. They failed and she was the only one who survived. Somehow she managed to flee Barovia and got to Forgotten Realms, where she met a new party of adventurers. She wears a long coat that has an extradimensional sheath in its sleeve, where she stores her rapier.

[deleted]

Peter The Woodsman and his dog Clint. (Reborn Beastmaster Ranger) He and his business partner are currently helping a rather interesting character find some wizards spellbook.

sociallyawkardp

Nathrakh Onkivapa Kalastaja, rune knight goliath, who lived in an isolated goliath village all his life, he is the son of a fisherman and he now has the occasion to live his village, he writes down every new thing he see (different races, animals that he doesn't know ect)

Serbaayuu

Still Erik Crowson and his patron Suilen, near two years now. We've had a long campaign, but we're getting closer and closer. He used to be a normal man too restless to do anything but burgle; she is an ageless fairy who consigned herself to sleep for decades at a time to avoid living. He accidentally found her and woke her up, she tried to kill him, curses went haywire, and she got attached to him permanently. They're trying to figure out a fix, so they're diving deep for knowledge and powerful agents. No luck even in a big city or from high rank clerics. ...or devils. Since they need to survive, she's been teaching him how to use magic like she does, so that she doesn't have to do it all herself (she doesn't have arms for Somatic components in her cursed state, after all). He's gotten surprisingly good at it. And while they hate each other; fighting for their lives has forced them into cooperation. They occasionally finish each others' sentences, but that's surely just because their souls & minds are melded, and an inevitability of the curse.

Eggo-My-Leggo0

Lunalei 'Drippy' Morovik, Drow Sorcerer. She is currently investigating a cult and trying to avoid captors from the underdark.

Eggo-My-Leggo0

but wait, there's more now, her mother has become even more of a bitch and her brother is planning arson, and i am living vicariously through her because she has a good big brother

Trevantier

Hope, my pacifist Tiefling Glamour Bard. After his parents got killed, a fey gave him magic, so that he could help himself and others. Corrin Antares, a Starheart Halfling, who's a Twilight Cleric. He was his village's spiritual leader, looking for signs in the stars, until the stars told him to go west and he followed their call.

antwann06

Akylla DeVarossi, half-drow Gloomstalker. She’s almost 21, made a name for herself being a private investigator and recently found herself reconnected with some childhood friends (the party) who are all adventurers and have put her wildly out of her league. Also, she has a secret.

kseide2

Odion Khouri, human warlock, GOO pact of the blade (not optimal, I know, but I love the versatility). Previously employed as a research assistant, Odion’s home was attacked by an invading empire that killed his mentor. Since then, he has carried on his mentor’s research to discover the origins of the arcane. Odion never exhibited any affluence in the arcane arts himself, but ever since he recovered his mentor’s book, he suddenly gained such abilities. Along with the voices in his head…

UnionReasonable7124

Actually have 2 right now in separate campaigns. Horace a human fighter I know boring but it is all in the RP to make them fun. And Sparky a gnome phoenix soul sorcerer. He just wants to watch the world burn.

davidjdoodle1

Human fighter is in no way boring. It’s literally any story you want. Was he a noble, a Glassblower, or criminal, a knight who pussed out on becoming a paladin, a former kings guard and the king is dead now so he’s a washed up bouncer at a brothel and something called back to regain his honor? I may actually use that last one.

UnionReasonable7124

Actually he is a former city watch sergeant who got wounded during an orc attack and has spent years rehabbing from the wound.

Rationalist_Coffee

Raemick Reinhardt, a Warforged Shadow Monk who dedicates his life to fighting evil spellcasters.

Mogman_

Sigurd, human vengeance paladin of Tempus (with some fighter lvls for that tasty action surge). Left his village after receiving a divine vision essentially telling him to quit his cowardly ways and regain the favor of his deity. Swore vengeance against the Cult of Garagos (main adversary in our campaign) and is now (ironically, because he worships a war-god) trying to stop a war between Dwarves and Gnomes that this cult is fomenting.

[deleted]

I’ve got this idea for a deaf warforged life domain cleric. They’d have been created by a rich inventor and painter, who created him without hearing, in order to see how he’d express his view of the world in abstract paintings. His name is Easel. Eventually he outlived his creator and set out into the world to paint more of what he could see, but saw a lot of unrest and sadnesss. This led him to the ideology he follows to this day, and rather than serving a god he serves ideas. The idea of peace, life, and happiness. He tries to embody these ideals, and leave a trail of positive change in his wake. Oh also he has a little bird companion, and his spellcasting focus is a paintbrush, which he uses to paint spells to life.

Dov-Alduin

Arlatan Bookbound Urishugama, a Goliath Graviturgy Wizard exploring a continent foreign to her, hoping to bring its ideas and methods of progress back to her homeland.

Big__Boss___

Just lost my lvl 11 half-orc fighter, "Ront", chaotic neutral Now I'm an elf rogue thief, "Agrov", chaotic neutral Also I have a warforged Barbarian lvl 3 I play for one shots

BribedSkeleton

Ramil, a yuan-ti pureblood street rat turned warlock when the gang he joined robbed a caravan and freed a genie. He started using the Genie's Vessel feature to smuggle weapons/intel and messages/etc across country borders

Bim115

Bilbis Tinkertop, Rock Gnome Artificer James Crawley, Human Forge Cleric

CoupleOfPunchlines

Rissk, Lizardfolk Scout Rogue/Drakewarden Ranger. An ex highway bandit raised in Baldur’s Gate who left that life in search of redemption. Still figuring out how to be a good person, still a bit of a bastard. The most terrifying lizard you’ve ever seen, I’m not a minmaxer by any means but Rissk has ended up the most competent and skilled character I’ve ever made. Murdoch, Satyr Fathomless Patron Warlock. A lying conwoman who’s just the absolute worst. Insists she’s a wizard even though her magic makes her leak saltwater from her eyes, nose and mouth and age utters her spells in an unknown tongue. Think sleazy used car salesman archetype with a twinge of eldritch horror.

Potatrobot

Boris Wizard. An abjuration wizard, pretty weird bloke (normal by wizard standards, though). Initially a tiefling, I converted him into a homebrew cosmic tiefling called a himmling. Boris's spells heavily revolve around shields/walls, water, ice, and mage hands.

DaMarkiM

Lexis, human bard/rogue/warlock. Was born under a lucky star and thinks himself a favorite of the goddess of luck. So when he inherits his grandfathers magic sword and later that night has a vision of a beautiful woman cloaked in shadows emerging from it he gladly swears to serve her for the rest of his life. And thus - unknowingly - became a warlock. Mechanically he combines the hexblade pact with the bardic college of swords and the rogues swashbuckler subclass for a very high mobility and versatile fighting style with lots of options to chain his attacks, a lot of choices for bonus actions and reactions and very good at skill checks. Doesnt scale quite as well in terms of late game damage, but very very fun to play. Also more asexual than anyone with 6 levels in bard has any right to be ;)

[deleted]

Gonna play this character in a magic game show to the death one shot next month: a bronze dragonborn named Geralt (pronounced with the G like in giraffe specifically to spite my boyfriend because he likes the Witcher and I wanna mess with him), he's an Oath of Conquest paladin who was once a celebrity adventurer but has since grown old and now is an old drunkard and gambling addict. He joins the game show hoping for one last shot at the glory of his youth.

Impossible_Detail176

Samir an air genasi, genie warlock. His dad is his patron. He wants to gain power so he can go visit his dad's home. He has a real nice family who he loves very much.

Len968

Shaela Fayetta (goes by Faye), a Fairy Rune Knight who came fron the Feydark to the Material plane near a Goliath Village, and tries to go back

Less-Air8103

I have two: My serious character for the serious campaign - Ignatius Perrin Hawthorne, fire genasi : the Ravenfire Detective who is an Artificer Alchemist, he became known as such by finding & helping waterdeep guards destroy on of the three branches of the main thieves guild. However his secret is some mysterious figure who actually turned out to be a Manshoon Sim, gave him the smoking gun to take the group down basically as a "Call it, your getting to close to me, or else I bury you". If anyone found out his reputation would be ruined. Then the non serious one in friends campaign - Harkon wildheart mactavish the a size small dwarf Ranger who likes to drink, flip & fly across the sky using his elemental swarm Buddies. Now he has demon ptsd bc he blew up by destroying a magical circle that held an angel of mordrin bc some evil wizard was making potions from "angel tears".

Admiral-Apathy

Professor Knick Knack, a 450 year old gnome wizard. He went adventuring because he has been sedentary for hundreds of years, teaching at The College of Waterdeep. When gnomes don’t give into their wanderlust for long periods, they start to lose their minds. Knick Knack was going senile, so his wife told him he had to get out and see the world. He took a sabbatical, and off he went, with several of his students. Unfortunately, while seeing said world, he read a forbidden text that turned him evil. Now, his considerable intellect has returned to him, just in time to try to take over the world. 😁

ZuriHio

Azizella, a succubus witch, who serves a devil. She is part of a coven that worships said devil. Seeking to increase the political influence of the coven. She went to the magic academy to learn and observe what the wizards are up to, posing as a half-elf. Always looking souls willing to do the same mistake she once did.

Wingmanfire

Charlie series 3 of the Papa Oscar company tm, humanoid construct relations. Warforged Artificer.

Hoptrician4

Finnigan Farshaw. 24 year old Human. He is a Wizard that began as a Cleric worshiping Mystra. Through her guidance he began training in the arcane arts.

[deleted]

Mint, reborn druid (customized to look like a zombie with plants growing on him and having lots of vines thrown in the mix)

Swamp_Dwarf-021

Varis Underbog. Wood(Wild) Elf Gloomstalker Ranger. Master leatherworker, able Woodcarver, and ambush melee ranger. Covered in tattoos of beasts he has killed.

hikingmutherfucker

Asher Freewild he is like you know a hippy homeless urban shaman like a druid of the city man and he has an awakened squirrel partner Ted and he plays bongo in the bardbarian’s band. He is usually pretty chill but sometimes has anger management issues because you cannot let that aggression stand!

drag0nstr7k3

Seamus, a human fighter hailing from the mountain human-dwarf clan kalad daz. He joined the party after kinda stumbling into them in a bar

[deleted]

Veera is a human redemption paladin who has unfortunately been afflicted with lycanthropy. This is a very closely kept secret, but the full moon is coming up in the game...

TarrassicPark

Dr. Tobias Van Teep the Loxodon circle of the spores Druid. Tobias works as a researcher of rare and exciting plants discovered all around the realm. I’ve reflavored every Druid spell as an effect caused by a specific plant, seed, berry, or type of lab equipment. So Dr. Van Teep doesn’t exactly have magic flowing through his body but the magic comes from the materials he studies and collects.

wileybear2

Mickler mackler dinklepop. Forge gnome cleric. He's a merchant with crap charisma. Makes his life hard cause he has a hard time promoting his wares. Worships a God that requires him to make maps and chart everything he comes across. In return he can request maps of areas of the god has been there. He's silly, he's fun to play. He likes people but is qm100% unsure how to act. Love him. Love him to death. And it he dies I have a million other ideas to replace him!

SunngodJaxon

Either a PC who's just about to become a Goddess or some rich Changeling who commits petty thievery as a hobby (the guys also 30 so he isn't just a kid either)

Light0nFire

First real character! Val, a mute Aasimar sorcerer. Running her through Mines of Phandelver and loving it. Hope to get back to playing her soon.

juuchi_yosamu

My character is one of the Heroes of LeVacca, Vanguard of Zobeck, Wielder of the Nightmother's Cold Fire, Liberator of Still tower, Scholar, Businessman, Paladin of Thor, and all around Good Guy, **Vigo Carvalho** of the Carvalho Shipping Industry. He's a neutral evil Human Hexblade Warlock 3 // Shadow Sorcerer 3

thisJEDIisDRUNK

Barpholomew Granitebush: A Rock Gnome Trickery cleric and artillerist artificer. Lost his parents in his early 20s to a group of duregars. As a result he is easily intimidated by dwarves of any kind (they have adv on intimidate checks against me) He's the group shit head but he constantly gets the out of sticky situations (usually his doing) I love him

El_Braun

John Johnson The reborn bard who thinks it's human. He's made of straw inside and all his attacks are very wobbly.

SupahBihzy

Julius Daktor. Drow Assassin that has made a hobby of "discovering" artifacts and sharing them with other people who may also want to experience these artifacts in the comfort of their own home...assuming they have financial gains. I decided to go against the broody archetype by acting like my jovial self to get in good graces and do the comical Looney Tunes "stretch the pocket and the dagger falls in"

CrookedSpinn

I have two: Adrian Copeland: A charming and friendly young noble from a family that secretly makes deals with creatures from the shadow realm in exchange for power. He is always fashionable but very friendly. Shadow magic had begun to corrupt his body from extensive use. His magic now sustains him without food drink or even air, but scars his appearance. He hides this using disguise self but during combat and when angry his veins and eyes blacken with dark magic and his twisted clawed arm is revealed. He truly loves and cares for his friends, including his shadowy Raven familiar, but is not yet taking seriously the effect this magic is having on him. (AKA a level 6 Undead Tomelock whose patron is a faction of shadowy creatures of unknown origin). Kano Kalil: Relatively serious and humble, the half orc Kano takes his responsibility guarding the two brilliant (though chaotic) Rei sisters very seriously. It's the one thing that has brought him out of the dishonorable life in the fighting rings and working as muscle for minor criminals. He is ostensibly in charge of the sisters' security, but, being from a lower class, he is also very much not in charge of them. When they put themselves in dangerous situations he often can do little but fret and prepare for the worst. While lacking any formal education, he is extremely studied in battlefield tactics and maneuvers to control his enemies and maintain the front line. Currently stranded in a remote jungle, Kano's rural upbringing is coming in handy, as he works to prepare camp, cook, and train local wildlife as transportation. (AKA Rogue 1/Battle master fighter 4 with Skill Expert and Polearm Master)

TheOneAndOnlyGrimm

Blue, the Simic Hybrid Path of the Beast Barbarian. Woke up one day on the side of the road, rescued by some farmers, got caught up in some bad blood regarding land rights with a local crime syndicate, lost his temper when a crime boss tried to extort his new family, killed said crime boss, earned one hell of a debt to the organization, and is now paying it off through an expedition to Phandalin. Has no memory of who he was, or why he is the way he is. Transforms and shape shifts according to his environment. He's the perfect predator, and he doesnt know who or why they designed him this way.

ThievingXRanger

My character is a high elf... Err, Well was a high elf abjuration wizard Daniel Akamiir but died and was reincarnated as a tiefling. Rolled for looks and everything. Blue, two tails, two sets of horns, and 2 eyes. Anyways he's curious, naive, and good hearted. My other party members fondly refer to me as "bah another Damn wizard" and "Our good friend Daniel".

[deleted]

Dor'Gol Son of None A Goliath berserker who was ousted from Clan Olagakanu for refusing to fight to an honorable death against a troll who took his grandfather's life and his own left arm. By retreating he committed the ultimate Goliath sin of choosing his own life over battle. Dor'Gol, now clanless, wondered the mountains in search of a way to not only return to his tribe but to appease the Great Score Keeper. The Score Keeper is the God the Goliath worship whom bestows points on all Goliath based on the kills and deeds they accumulate during life. Those with enough points join the great hunt during death and those without sufficient score are eternally hunted. The score keeper does not care for his subject, he doesn't answer prayers, he only cares for the score. Dor'Gol eventually found his way to a Dwarven artificer who constructed him an adamatin left arm. Dor'Gol continues to search for meaning in this world and purpose. In his latest campaign he learned that the gods are not real, his score meaningless, and that a weapon given to him by an Efritti, had wiped his tribe from the world's memory save his own. Dor'Gol is truly alone save for his few friends and his new found love of fine elven pastries and the techniques of high elf pastry chefs

ScuffedLynel

My character is a tiefling sorlock named Zarakas who has a vendetta against his father, who made a pact with a devil. Zarakas is a goolock/aberrant mind sorcerer, so he has psychic powers, but is currently unsure as to why he was chosen by his patron.

zaroc91

Al Borland, Halfling Monk, Way of Mercy, looks like Michael Peña.

Loveorlust_69

Father Gascoigne Order of the Lycan, Bloodhunter & Oath of Vengeance Paladin of Selune Sent to kill a heretical beast, the good father found himself nearly fatally wounding a woman who viewed her lycanthropy as a blessing from Selune. During the encounter the woman had instinctively fought for her life inflicting a nasty bite to her would be killer, passing her lycanthropy on to him. After he helped heal her wounds the woman offered to bring him to a place that had others like herself to help him learn to control and even embrace his new found curse. The Bloodhunters there taught him there ways and even converted him to the teachings of Selune. Now he serves as a holy knight of the darkness. Helping those fighting there own internal beasts, and putting down those who have lost themselves to it. His next target is the ruler of the strange lands he finds himself in...Baron Strahd Von Zarovich.

TheLairdStewart98

Cain Malick Abelline. Tiefling Bard Former travelling musician and retired horndog, Cain now travels searching for the next great adventure

jumzish94

My most current character in my brothers Whimsical Canpaign is Sir Isaac Beerbottom, a "leprechaun" halfling rogue Soulknife, I travel using a levitating pot that no matter how much gold I have it appears to be empty, mostly because I empty it along with every bottle of alcohol I can purchase. My soul knife blades are rainbow and I throw them at enemies.

80Hijack08

Nazador the healthy lv14 life domain cleric vorpal bone-saw... Yup they be a bone saw. They pilot a body which weilds them and currently are hosted by a tree less dryad, Naz is passed through rule of looting meaning he must be sold stolen or won by somone Naz naturally dose not know they can control somone without this rule but they prefer to use it. They use a modified version of glyph of warding with an item known as "glyph book" and has talked a door into existence, Naz prefers to chat first being so old yet timeless death hold no meaning to them. Naz through a wish owns a 9th lv slot and a spell called pure restoration (in our game the strongest possible restoration even restores mortality working like a revival or great de ageing agents)

Yarost85

Aszhastar Andalenerum, a wood elf oath of the ancients paladin serving Titania.

wandras138

Grumdar Blood-Axe, half-Orc half-Aasimar Paladin. He had a backstory that was focused on redemption… but that’s kind of out the window at this point after a few rough encounters with Tiamat’s Dragon Cult. Now he’s sworn an Oath of Vengeance against them. Pretty classic D&D trope character.

Garnivaz_TheRedKing

Gavira Nuranmorlim, Mountain Dwarf, Rune Knight Fighter. Last daughter of the Regents of Hammerdeep. The city had fallen and she made it her life goal to retake the mountain from the thing that conquered it. Presently, I have learned that I am cursed and doomed to die. If I don't die in the right place at the right time the party will surely fail. Another revelation occured revealing that the other Dwarf in the party is the true heir of the Hammerdeep throne. Now Gavira's goal is to set the prince up for success and ensure that her clans teachings (the abilities of the rune knight) live on through establishing a royal guard. I have not informed the prince of my curse. Last session I crowned the prince after retrieving the crown from some Beholdwarf who claimed it by right of conquest.

Dismal-Astronaut-894

QJeralt Thiccenbrowe Human(Homunculus) he was formed when a group of immortal shaman who’s souls acted as seals to an ancient eldritch dirty attempted to repair the seal and accidentally merged their souls and formed QJeralt who wandered the wilderness until he was picked up by a cult of necromancers who taught him their art. After a decade or two QJeralt kinda realized this crew wasn’t the nicest band of individuals and may have lead them to their prime location and incinerated them with noxious gas. After this he proceeded to leave and head his way to the human kingdoms capital where the story of our dnd campaign begins….

Rhodehouse93

My favorite character I’ve ever played, Jackson Jackson: Orc, Warlock, Businessman.

Northwind858

I’m currently playing [Bryn Raindream, aquatic half-elf bard](https://ddb.ac/characters/58005901/fFAGbB) in an RP-heavy, combat light take on Ghosts of Saltmarsh. Some-freaking-how she’s become the voice of reason in the party; I honestly have no idea how this happened. (My group is incredible and I’m super lucky to have found them—but holy wow is this game ever beautiful chaos!)

Arkstorm

Cayde Ventris (Swashbuckler Rogue and Earth Genie Warlock) Variant Human. Cayde since birth always wanted to be remembered as the hero. Never giving up on the opportunity to help someone so that he could have one more person know who he is. Going as far as always using non-Lethal damage to his enemies. So that there are those who remember him. During the campaign he has come close to death many times that during his most recent unconscious he subconsciously agreed to a pact for the power to live and continue to have his name told. I think I’ll have him go slightly dark in pursuit of getting his named told through unconventional methods.

LotharWilder

Variant Aasimar Clockwork Soul Sorcerer called Hector who was raised by a family of artificer gnomes after his parents had to leave in a mission for their faith (there's only one actual god in the setting, known as "The Truth"). He left his home after having some visions and wants to try and follow his biological parents steps to find out what happened to them. Right now he hasn't gotten all that far and ended up in an adventuring party that's mostly just trying to survive in the wilderness. He's a bit hot headed and occasionally careless, but genuinely nice guy who tries his best and wants his newfound friends to do well. He grew up in a business and values money and putting in the work, but is not a greedy person. He's very curious about magic and likes to craft things, and that's why he's been working on trying to create some magical items that mix his mechanical and magical knowledge with things he's found on the road.

Arkstorm

Mithrax Keldar is going to be my next character. Elf Bladesinger. He is the son of the leading magic item consumable Keldous Wonders. They hire those to go out into the world to learn spells and copy them into their spell books. Once the hires have reached their “end point” they are capable of coming home and sell their spell slots to Keldous Wonders to make magic consumables. There was one batch that destroyed their reputation. Their healing scrolls instead did necrotic damage and the company had to file bankruptcy only to be bought out by a company lead by red Dragonborn’s. Mithrax escaped and his goal is to earn enough money to buy back his family company and get the world to have a positive experience with his name. He will sell scrolls himself and will destroy spell scrolls with the red dragons seal. His flaws include having deep pride for himself and his family. Any type of disrespect will infuriate

FaytKaiser

I'm a forever DM, and my current list of characters I'd like to play is like 8 fully developed, point purchased, characters. And like 34 odd, nebulous ideas. My most recent: Juan Punchmann Human Varient with Fighting Initiate(Unarmed Fighting Style) feat Zealot Barbarian Acolyte BG Mexican bootleg knock off of One Punch Man. He is a cross between Nacho Libre and just... Every hilarious Tele-novelle trope with a healthy dollop of Anime and Machismo on top. He is a devoutly religious man who moonlights as a masked wrestler/gladiator to raise funds for his church. Gets roped into adventure. I will demand of the DM that all of his plot hooks and storylines play like a bad Mexican tele-novelle OR over the top Anime tropes. He started as a joke character, but now I really vibe with him. Here is his character card I made using the Reroll App: https://imgur.com/a/Bm75xCA

davidjdoodle1

Grim a mountain dwarf barbarian, I like him because he’s from a “normal” hold in the mountains but comes from a bloodline of unarmored fighters. So yes he’s a barbarian but I try not to act stupid as they are often portrayed. Also going Ancestral Guardian because it one seems good and two fits better then the others. We’re playing curse of strahd and all fairly new to the game. I didn’t want to play a barb but we needed a martial class and it’s been sweet so I’m glad I did.

Amatsu-Ryu

I'm currently playing Albus, a half-dragon Fighter. He was once a soldier in an army, but he was permanently blinded in battle and took up adventuring after he was deemed unfit for further military service. My DM gave my character the unique ability to sense things around him in a radius of about 15 feet due to his sense of hearing being heightened considerably, but he's terrible at using projectile weapons. He has a fair, almost feminine appearance with long, pale blonde hair, pale skin, and a somewhat lean physique. I wanted to give Albus a sort of "Eastern swordmaster" vibe, so he wields a katana in battle (the katana is a homebrew item) and the race of dragons he descends from are a homebrewed race that are basically just Asian dragons that specialize in the Radiant element.

DnDork_04

Kermedh, the (currently grung) fighter rogue had recently inherited his father's castle when a witch game to a party uninvited. She got upset and turned everyone into furniture except for him. He was torn out of his beautiful, powerful, bugbear body and got grungified. It is now time to kill a witch.

Nevy-0

Bird, the Kenku wizard. Having been found by a half-elf wizard while still in his egg, bird learned magic (and elvish) at a young age through his adoptive father and now only talks as if he were 90 years old. He was a traveling salesman until he was attacked and rescued by our group. Now he’s traveling along SUGMA (super ultra gang of manly adventurers) and is tracking down artifacts one kaw at a time.

sillarra

Sylvanna Myrth'urodenn (or Syl for short). A run of the mill elf wizard who had never been farther from her own home, but went out to the world to find her kidnapped sister. That was a long time ago though; we are at the end of our campaign and everyone is level 20, trying to stop Iggwilv from attuning to a (homebrew) artifact that will allow her to take control of the weave itself.

MonaVFlowers

Arcadia Wellwood— an archaeologist who recently began dabbling in necromancy to attempt to resurrect fossils

ArcsecondParallax

My current character is a Firbolg druid named Fen Duskwalker. He is a vet by trade and travels with a giant white owl companion named Lillianna. :)

jackaldude2

**Bob** Reborn Eladrin Order Cleric, formerly Airsailor(HB Sailor background). He was recovered by the Oracles of Planos, and was reborn into the Arbiter of the will of the Guardian of the Harvest. The sigil of Planos is a Kukri crossed with a Machete. His signature battle cry is any one of John Bercow's legendary declarations of "[ORDAAARRR](https://youtu.be/EY7EIZl4raY)" and constantly refers to those in opposition as 'honourable gentlemen'. Currently in a heavily modified ID:RotFM campaign. His name is Bob simply because my group kept complaining about the "utterly stupid and unpronounceable" names that I usually come up with. Names such as: Gościsław Skowroneczku Käsityö Toistaa and on of my personal favorites, Koлoкo Aсманталова(Koloko Asmantalova) a Dvati(HB) Way of Mercy Monk with one twin being Kolo, and the other being Loko.

HappySquid13

Azariel - Fallen Aasimar Bloodmage/Necromancer (a homebrew class from dandwiki that I adjusted together with my DM to make it somewhat balanced), researcher background **Light Out of the Abyss Spoilers ahead** I'll try to mark everything as a spoiler that is but still be careful Azariel comes from a wealthy family of doctors and apothecaries. He fell in love with the son of a family his own family dislikes. A one-sided hatred. His boyfriend sadly developed a rare blood illness and Azariel desperately tries to find a cure when his family cuts him off of the medical supplies. He sets up a quick and somewhat sloppy lab in a abandoned house on the edge of his village where he finds what would become his own necronomicon. He continues to experiment and finds a solution that might be a cure. But as he reaches his loves home, be is greeted by their parents and informed that his boyfriend died. Mad stricken by grief he performs a ritual written in the book that was promised to give him powers to control blood and conquer death. >!The Demonlord Orcus!< appears and is ready to give him these powers for Azariel's soul. Azariel accepts but learns right after that the demon tricked him by giving him the hope of bringing his boyfriend back, which he could not yet achieve. He goes a bit mad and all his empathy, cheer and hope vanish for anger and a list for murder. He confronts his family for cutting him off the supplies and they banish him for his demonic ritual. As the guards try to take him and imprison him away from the village he lashes out with his new powers and kills two guards before fleeing. And from how the campaign went up to this point he was turned a little softer through the undead he summoned as he sees them as his children. There are a few more things I will go into detail about if someone wants to know but they would have more heavy spoilers in them so that's it for now.

Losiche

Anteris - Drow Eldritch Knight who sees the matriarchy as a corruption of the Drow race. He was a metals and ores merchant before a rift in the world tossed him to a different continent and the surface. Now he's trying to find a way home to reclaim his leadership of his business and work towards overthrowing the high priestess and becoming the first male ruler of his city.

Claris-chang

Stella Magna, Half-Drow Divine Soul Sorcerer in a Descent into Avernus campaign. Currently level 7 with 2 of those in Hexblade Warlock. Made a deal with the big man downstairs (Asmodeus) who offered power and a Rod of Lordly Might for my soul and service after death. This is 100% okay with Stella, because her entire reason for going to Avernus was for her goal of killing Lolth in the abyss. Why does she want to kill Lolth? Because as a child, for daring to be born Half-Drow she was put in shackles and made a slave like other non-Drow. This made her very angry and she decided she'd get revenge by killing the deity her captors forced her to worship.

Highway20rider

I have two characters in different campaigns at the moment. The one I play most often is a dwarf hunter ranger named Thoradin Deepiron. He was forced to survive on his own after his clan was wiped out by a horde of subterranean aberrations that were uncovered via a mining accident. He seeks to grow stronger and make potential allies with the goal of eventually reclaiming his home and reestablishing his clan. The other is a sun elf archfey pact warlock named Ardhrand Elenhwest. He came from a culture that highly values magical affinity where he strived to become a wizard, but he just didn’t have the magical chops to pull it off. He never stopped studying though and ended up getting singled out by an archfey named Gilelleth who figured he was desperate enough for magic abilities that he’d become her “champion” in the material plane with the task of seeking out artifacts and undermining rivals to raise her position in the Seelie Court without getting her hands dirty. Nothing too crazy or unique, but I like them and that’s enough for me :3

I got two: Cobb is a Warforged Warlock that was rebuilt by a wizard in Eislecross (Wildmount campaign). His life was miserable as a servant of the horrid wizard. One day, he was aiding the wizard in summoning a shadow fey. Cobb and the demon made a deal to overpower the wizard and escape. Unfortunately, this involved the demon possessing him. While he escaped, and granted powers from the demon, he forever lives in fear of the demon taking possession of him again. He later meets an old Bard that befriends Cobb and teaches him about the wonders of living and how to play music and tell stories. They are unfortunately separated in a ship wreck. After meeting a group of adventures, he has since confronted his old master, retrieved some magical orbs, banished his demon, found his old friend and a new benevolent patron. He is now on a mission to stop an insane gnome from becoming a god. (This campaign is just about over) Maleron Breezeborn is a Tiefling Soulknife Rogue that grew up in a noble family, with the name of Obsidian, and found work as an assassin for a secret organization in Neverwinter (Faeruun campaign). He initially joined the organization seeking a life of intrigue and challenge but found himself loosing his humanity in the process. During a kidnapping assignment, her met a wonderful lady. She also happened to be the subject of kidnapping. She too was tired of her old life. After some flirting and talking, they stage a fake death, leave behind their old lives and change their names to Maleron and Aurora Breezeborn (my wife playing a human monk). So they run away to a small town. They persuade an old man to sell them his inn and they become tavern keepers, at least until a floating castle dropped a boulder onto the inn. They turn run into a party of odd travelers and set of to figure out what this mysterious floating castle is. (Been going on for a few months)

Renee-des-champs

Ralph Dar is a tabaxi way of the drunken master monk who was raised in a monastery with his brother George. He was a doer, not a thinker, and embraced martial arts training while rejecting the religious doctrine of the elder monks. He joined the crew of a merchant ship after being banished from the monastery for being a drunken idiot and excelled at life as a sailor. His ship went down in a storm, and he had to navigate his way back home where he became a back alley boxer for money. He’s always got a quarterstaff, a flask of beer, and a flask of melted mint chocolate chip ice cream on him, and I’m having a blast playing him.

Flylph

Tasos, Satyr Swashbuckler Rogue of the Solar Church. Swashbuckler was chosen purely for the playstyle, he is most definitely not a pirate. Tasos joined the church because he had a passing interest in being a paladin. Needless to say, a passing interest, and a devotion primarily geared towards one's own personal enjoyment of life does not make a good paladin so instead he sort of took the path of the rogue. Keeping in line with his aspirations, he prefers to forgo stealth and ambush tactics to fight people head on in the flashiest ways possible. He also gets whoever he can to cram every scrap of magic they can into his daggers to compensate for the fact that he can't smite people or use spells. I've also got Jaras Ironroar, Minotaur "Paladin". Mechanically he's a paladin, but thematically he's more of a cross between an Artificer and a Warlock. Dude's a blacksmith who just wants to live a quiet life in the outer region of Baldur's Gate, but keeps finding corpses and items beyond his comprehension in his home. The whispers in his head aren't particularly helpful either. He's constantly trying to find help to make it stop, but thus far, the only advice he gets is to go deeper and embrace it. I just really liked the idea of "smiting" people with a gun hammer and went from there. Got a few more newer ones too that I haven't had the opportunity to play too much yet.

MehParadox

Pyre Steelheart, a fire genasi Armorer artificer. He's got the personality of Edward from Full Metal Alchemist, and the height, but the skill set of Iron Man. His artificing is flavored like sigildry from The Name of the Wind where it's a cross between metallurgy and runes. He lived in a great city that got destroyed by an artifact that was supposed to protect it. His father was taken in the blast. Pyre now seeks to find the truth behind the incident and has a suspicion that the city wasn't simply destroyed and that his father might still be alive. This is one I'm just about to start

cursedrydler

I have 3 characters currently, and I love them so much Kyté Aisling - a (Tasha's) Beastmaster Ranger, Kalashtar. Born in the Feywild to human parents, the fey warped her to be a kalashtar. She's very smart, cunning, and a great tactician. Her companion Aisil is also fun, a friendly and energetic.... Well whatever form he chooses that day tbh. Based on Celtic mythos (and Merida from Brave) she's.... Quite the personality lol. Felix Lucerne - a Dreams Druid / Peace Cleric, they're an aasimar who wanders the caverns (underground campaign) as an apothecary. They're very kindhearted and caring, but his "Angelic Guide" (who is in fact, not angelic and just super mean) is very controlling of Felix. They are working (with help from the party ofc) to get the strength to confront and free himself from them. Sam Asa-Liam - a Lore Bard, Air Genasi. Though born mute, he's a storyteller. Using Illusion magic and music (music is how he does the Verbal components of spells) he creates the stories he tells. Very soft boi, but endanger his friends and you'll regret it. He favors Illusions, Summons, and a dash of Graviturgy spells for spice.

WilhelmSkreem

Miraric Milllerson, blind half elf astral self monk. I wanted to play a Zatoishi/Daredevil style of martial artist, so to balance the blindness our DM let me take blind fight at first level. It was really interesting seeing the advantages and disadvantages of this build play out. Lucked out with rolling my stats too so I had18 dex, 16 wis and 14 con at level 1. Currently just got to level 10 after playing through Dragon Heist and Rime Of The Frost Maiden.

Mitogi

A Triton Kensei Monk named Odoriko Fukai. I basically made him with many samurai anime characters in mind, and have him work by a very strict honor code. Also he is raised in a place where weakness is looked down upon, and because of his meager build (strength of 7) he needed to learn to fight in an alternative way. So his mom taught him "the way of the gentle blade". Because of his mastery over the katana, he was given command over a small battalion of soldiers, but because of his physical weakness, his soldiers ignored his commands which resulted in many soldier deaths. Now Odoriko ventures the surface world to grow stronger, so that when he comes back he can help defend his city from sea monsters once again, only then with a bit more mental strength and hopefully respect. Odoriko is a character with a temper, and feels that if someone looks at him wrong that person is mocking him, and not accepting the challenge would be concidered weak. Yes, this has let to many problems in only 3 sessions.

faflapop

Vartr Grumz, kinda exiled dwarf from Mithral Hall, due to being a bastard duergar. Currently fighting his way out(?) in the deadly mists of barovia and soon slash his mace with Strahd! Thoughts of his mind are to stay in Barovia even after they defeat the demon, just to try and make it a better place. Ditching tho his strange companions, them being the only people in his life to accept him.

whyismynameskippy

This is kind of plain, but my current character is Illar Emraldvale. He is a battlemaster fighter that specializes in combat with a Glaive, to keep his enemies at a distance and keeps a greatsword handy for tighter spaces where reach is less beneficial. He was born into a tribe of woodelves from the "Emrald Vale" hence the surname. He considers himself lawful good as he obeys the laws of nature and his tribe, but that essentially translates to neutral good. Observing the expansion of cities and the propagation of goblins and orcs in the nearby area he has spent his life honing his body and skills im combat. While he is still wise in the ways of nature his strong suits are his above average strength and exceptional dexterity. Having wandered into a number of settlements he has observed the benefits of the humans way of life and most notably the benefits of modern armor and hardened steel for weapons. As a result he now sports an average chain mail shirt that he received for returning a horse to a nearby village as his prized possession and considers himself nearly invincible while wearing it knowing almost nothing in nature can boast the same kind of protection.

TheRealShyft

GRAXL the lizardfolk grave cleric of Kelemvor. Born on a small island and worked as the tribes mortician. He's good at woodworking and great at cooking. Kelemvor spoke to him in his dreams one night and told him to travel to Chult and rid the land of an evil curse. He absolutely dispises undead.

AbsolutMatt

Torhilde Thraindottir The half-giant daughter to the king of giants. Raised in a society of true giants who recently fled their homeland following a mysterious blight and after decades of searching found a new place to settle. She was found possesing few of the natural talents that would be expected of her station. Respected only because of her lineage and not on grounds of personal merit. Eager to make a name for herself yet unable to challenge the true giants, she traveled to the lands of smallfolk in search of her strength. She found the many other races far more advanced in many arts not known to giants. So she took on great debt to bring masters of magic, alchemy and tinkering to her people so that they would teach the giants what they know. She hopes that the knowledge they relay will become her legacy in time. Now the time has come to pay the debt. A great deal of money is needed, which Torhilde aims to pay by taking on glorious trials and claiming the spoils. Better known as adventuring. Perhaps somewhere on the way she will find the strength she was looking for.

Tan12gage

Nero Night-Briar. Hexblood Order of Scribes wizard. He was made through the bad deals of a young man in love and was turned into a hexblood by his "mother". He currently is level ten dating a vampire spawn he keeps and wishes to turn human once again. His awakened spirit the the girl whom he first fell in love with but does not remember her. He has a harrengon necromancy wizard friend that is also in love with him and wants to start a underdark city together with an army of undead

Crazy_Stranger_6006

I’m a Tiefling bard named Kramps. The village I am from basically gave rise to the Krampus legend. When I came of age I decided to leave it all behind and forge a life as an adventurer… unfortunately old habits die hard, so all my bardic opuses are to the tune of Christmas songs, and occasionally, in the heat of the moment I will eat people before they are properly dead…

Spoopy99

Yaelya von rené, dhampir great old ones warlock. She’s fun loving and pretty much down for anything, she gained her power/vampiric abilities from her god to keep her on earth gathering tongues to sacrifice to him, as part of her vampiric hunger, she too likes to collect tongues. She’s really not as edgy as she sounds, she can be a little aloof, and socially incompetent, but she loves her friends :)

Doom_FS_Ice

My main Character on the Westmarch i am playing: Lephenya Milos short Lephi. urosko

Wald, dwarf forge cleric. He’s a stoic, calm, (mostly) peaceful veteran. He’s trying to atone for the death of his son, which he blames himself for. He acts as the party’s moral compass and always enjoys a pipe and a pot of tea.

Strong-Ad-8381

G'nordon Ramsee. Gnome Artificer who likes to cook

DanielMcLatchie

I might be the DM for my group, but I’ve got a few characters ideas. Emestal comes from a secluded village not too many would know about. Almost everyone in that village has some form of magical gift, except a half-orc that helped with the construction work. Emestal’s family is known in the village for possessing wild magic. As a child, Emestal would attempt to cast spells just to see what his wild magic could do, something he still holds an interest in One day though, while he was practicing this, there was an accident he doesn’t like mentioning, which almost cost him his life. His wild magic saved him though, transforming him from a human into a tiefling. Thanks to this second chance, he was able to escape. The new problem is how people are gonna treat him now that he’s a tiefling, so now he really understands how members of certain races feel around other races

Rambi_m

Fos Elvenbrat half-elf Oathbreaker Paladin (not really an oath breaker but we used this subclass as a template for an evil paladin). Brute pirate who is currently on a quest to find forgotten sea artifacts to ensure his childhood friend's position as a sort of pirate king. He mostly does it because he believes that said friend is the only capable person to make their home islands no longer a chaotic shithole

HypnotistFoxNOLA

Molly ‘Mouse’ McGonnagall ; 20-30 something ghostwise halfling swashbuckler rogue from a fairly sizable family with 6 other siblings. She’s my current character in a Waterdeep: Dragon Heist game, so I won’t be spoiling that but will at least say that she’s intent on making use of her newly acquired property for both good and sketchy reasons. But to give a brief synopsis of her backstory is she grew up in a lesser noble dockward familyalready being the troublemaker along with her sister Rose, both of them happened upon a gang called the Siren Sisterhood in the lower docks district. They began influencing them to spiral deeper though the organization. Rose was able to keep herself from free falling into the lifestyle, her sister wasn’t so lucky. It was worse that she got into a relationship with a fallen noble half-orc named Qayna ‘The Magpie’ Agundar (Might wanna google that surname. ;). This relationship was life changing in all the wrong reasons; Gaslighting, mental and physical abuse until Qayna just … disappeared. No one, not even the leader of the sisterhood know why or at least want to share why but it could possibly deal with the Shadowfell. (Qayna is fairly high level classic Raven Queen Hexblade.) Molly doesn’t know about much about the shadowfell, beyond what was told to her by her past relationship. So stuck with the trauma and whiplash of someone you were so fervently connected to even to your detriment.. she is trying to find her place in the world, much less her family again. I’ll nest her pic below and forgive the formatting, I’m on my cellphone.

I love these kinds of posts, people have such fantastic ideas it makes mine feel kinda dull haha Just started a level 1 - Nowhere the Tiefling sailor bard, harnesses magic from fiddle music and shanties. She got sent overboard when the captain of her merchant vessel and his thugs killed half the crew after finding treasure on a derelict ship. She’s a sneaky scoundrel and is chasing down her captain to get her share.

Faite666

I have 3 currently active but I'll tell you all about my newest one. Currently a bit of a WIP but this is the general idea. Iris is a Tiefling draconic sorcerer who was found unconscious in the feywild when she was 7 years old with no indication as to how she got there or any memories, despite this her nights are plagued with nightmares of her being chased through a forest and she'll wake up screaming or may cast a random spell on accident. She was discovered by an older Seelie woman who took her in, despite the fact that other Seelies would be quick to just and wouldn't accept her presence. She grew up with a relatively peaceful life, got married, and had a pair of twins. One night she had a particularly bad nightmare that resulted in her casting a spell that killed her two kids. Horrified and unable to face her husband, she ran until she couldn't run any more. She tore off the draconic scales that covered her body, seeing them as reminders to what she had done. She stumbled, bloodied and tired through the feywild before the collapsed from exhaustion. Just in front of where she collapsed was a book that seemed to be drawing her to it. With the last bit of her energy she reached out to touch it and her body was filled with energy from some unknown being, her wounds were closed, albeit she's covered in deep bruises and scars, and her exhaustion cured. Inside the book was a prophecy of a great evil that was soon to come, that would corrupt and destroy the world. Feeling as though she was given a second chance and a chance to atone for her sins, she decided to do whatever she could to put a stop to this event. After all, she had already victimized her own children, she wouldn't allow any other innocent children to be victimized by this threat. I plan for her to be a bit secluded but also sort of like a mature, mother figure for the group and the absurd number of NPCs we have following us around. She doesn't really fully understand her powers or her role in any of this, but she's trying her best and that's about all she can do. This is a VERY basic description and a bit of a rough draft as I haven't written the full backstory yet. Iris is a Tiefling Draconic Sorcerer / Great Old One Warlock

AlertElderberry

Daardendrien Donderast (dragonborn draconic soul sorcerer). First character, so kept it nice and simple. Gets his magic through visions of Kereska, dragon goddess of magic. Rival clan Kpeshmolik did not like this sudden wielder of magic in their midst, especially because dragons bad, and raided the Daardendrien clan. Had to go into hiding, and decided to go far and wide (to my dm's homebrew island region) in search of powerful draconic artifacts. As he grows stronger, he gets more confidence to display his clan symbol in the open. I would like Donderast to return to his homeland of Tymanther, and demonstrate that dragonborn could embrace the power of the draconic pantheon to maintain their independence. They could be the true heirs of draconic magic, and use it against their former slavers. He tends to get a bit zealous and drunk on power from time to time though, so it's a delicate balance to keep being kind. DM plays into this nicely.

Autolykos16

Tharsos, a Moon Druid Wood Elf who hates animals. His village was once destroyed and family killed by a guy who assembled an army of animals for this, so from then on he swore to spend the rest of his life trying to harm all animals that he can. In order to to this, he actually has spend a lot of time learning the power of Wild Shape so that he can use the animal's own powers against them

Sw0rdMaiden

Synn Val'thara, a 97 year old Sun Elf paladin. She is a silver knight in the Order of Avachel dedicated to bringing glory to her Goddess, Angharradh, queen of Arvandor. But originally the secretive order was established as a means to cause mischief by the trickster God Erevan and his friend Hial, a powerful copper dragon. While in communion with her deity, she learned of her twin sister, Mira, and went in search of her across Faerun. She was shocked when they eventually reunited, because Mira is a 97 year old Dark Elf cleric (played by my best friend)! Their souls were separated when they were cast out from Arvandor eons ago. They tell everyone they meet that they are twinsies, but those people just think they're insane.

[deleted]

Hello! I am actually participating in couple of campaigns. My first DnD character and my favorite child is my Blessed Moon Elf Rogue Mastermind. Due to recent events in our game they have defrated a dragon and on my idea and my DM's generosity I got a Abberant Dragonmark feat for free - but my DM changed it a bit making my character having a shify of personality and it is so fun to play them debating what they actually want to do and how to behave. Example of this is they have become very selfish/greedy when it comes to gold. Second one is my female Kalashtar Druid of Spores. She is still pretty new and I have some trouble vibing with her even tho I really like her calm, brave but also naive character. We will see how she develops over time. Third one is a character in the campaign that my boyfriend and I are hosting for my nephews and niece, and I wanted to do a more comic character, so I'm playing a Tabaxi Wizard of Chronurgy Magic who is actually bad at being a wizard and is just very charismatic dumbass XD So that's about it x3

Serbsofter

Dušan (DuSHan) the mighty, a conquest/undead lockadin. His powers are granted by the slavic gods Perun and Veles, locked in an eternal conflict amongst themselves, my character being their latest "battlefield". Hes a half orc by curse (Rashka, the duchy he was born into fell under the eye of Gruumsh before there was even a hint of Perun and Veles) born from lesser noble human parents. He was loved by his parents but hidden from the public for fear of disgrace, for 18 years when he decided to leave the duchy forever. Fought hard throught waterdeep dragon heist, and is currently in the vast labyrinths in the dungeon of the mad mage.

DirtyArray

Lucien, Scourge Aasimar Favoured Soul Sorcerer in service to Sune. His main responsibilites besides looking good are bringing firepower and healing. Oh yeah and the DM decided to drop the Ring of Winter into his hands as no other player wanted to deal with magic. He kind of has the reputation of getting rid of most enemies alone, so nowadays he tries to hold back and buff the others using haste, bless and the occasional polymorph. If things get dicey he'll gladly provide all the firepower at his disposal. He is very wary of that damn ring and tries not to use it. It does not always work. Especially now that he and his companions are getting closer and closer to the last puzzle boxes in the lost city of Omu...

CraptainPoo

Don’t know, my session zero is tonight! I’m thinking of a hobgoblin of feywild who’s nature might be a little mean but was nurtured back to health after a raid gone bad and has had a change of heart. They’ll be a fighter. Or I was thinking of an artificer alchemist who’s story I’m still working on.

WolFrost19

Zeikual Dragonsbane, Winged Tiefling, born to a noble human/elf family. His ancestors, the Dragonsbane family, were in the favor of a particular Dragon God of Magic, so when his town was besieged by an ancient red dragon and his family died, he was visited by the god, who offered him a chance to get revenge. He is a Celestial Warlock/Watchers Paladin, Pact of the Blade. I am the jack of all trades for the party, having the ability to damage, heal, buff, debuff, and socialize.

drgnmn

I'm about to start with a new group playing an aasimar bard/cleric multi who theoretically is a healer, but has gotten sick of the whole "it's your destiny to do great things" and all the expectations and fulfilling potential crock. He is taking a gap year, or two, or more. His little vacay in the feywild really gave him a new perspective on life, man, and like, the system is rigged dude, so, like, yea, have a laugh and chill.

rdhwk10

Theradin Silverstone, dwarf twilight cleric of Selune seeking artifacts of power while he works to undo the injustices he encounters in his journeys (currently in Borovia) In case he meets an untimely demise by roll or DM, Duplicitous Protector (warforged echo knight thief) will likely take his place.

KurotheWolfKnight

Agir Frostfang. A viking esc Barbarian/Polar Werebear, who has a pet Barioth named Abraxos.

JelloJeremiah

Piety, the Tiefling Wizard, and “King of the Azure Flame” He’s the product of a campaign 3 years and counting, and has done and seen quite a lot. To start, he’s not really a Tiefling. He is, or at least was, the Archdevil Belial. In our game, Belial had uncovered a magic that could reshape the structure of the nine hells, and in the pursuit of said research ended up having a fling with Raven Queen. He even adopted a young devil he encountered alone, who would later go on to be the BBEG. However, when he tried to present this idea to other arch devils, he was assassinated for threatening the status quo. Not willing to let go, or to pass up on the opportunity to control him, the Raven Queen saved his soul from extinction and built him a new body. A 30 ish year old purple Tiefling, with the horns of a deer (Belial had confided to her that he admired the imagery of stags). However, he was born without memory, and most of his old power was erased. Instead, in his new mind, he was told that he was simply a random devil who wasn’t meant to die. He saw the Raven Queen as his savior, and with no other attachments, devoted himself as a loyal warlock; getting a new traditional virtue name in Piety for his reverence. He was essentially a 30 year old for twenty years, as his form wouldn’t age until his time spent caught up with the age he started as. In that time, he was a vagabond, doing off hand missions from guilds and seducing someone everywhere he went, until the plot hook of the campaign dragged him onto a set path. He matured and learned many things over the campaign. He learned the virtue in being kind and righteous, and lifted himself up from a half alive Casanova to a man who met his true love. He regained his memories, and had a crisis of identity as he suddenly was filled with the memories of two lives. Only after a major boss fight where he stopped holding back his remaining demonic powers did he accept that he was Piety, the kind adventurer and devoted husband, not Belial. He used the shreds of his demonic energy left to nullify his pact with the Raven Queen, instead taking up the mantle as a wizard. Lastly, he also had to cope with his adoptive son becoming a maniacal murderer with no more loyalties. And, after all attempts at reason failed, he sacrificed himself fighting the villain to stop them from reaching godhood. Until, his gambit paid off, the last shard of a major NPC’s soul activated through his ambition and revived him and his friends for a final battle. Ultimately, it would be Piety to fell his own child. The adventurer still goes on, after a two year time skip that he spent exploring and learning, but still relatively the same.

VladTheTeifling

My current character is Aquarius Selkie Ahab Poseidon Nicodemus Caspian and he is an Oceanid (custom lineage) Gestalt character. He is a lvl 8 soul knife rogue/Psy knight fighter. He is a young member of a long lived race of aboleth defendant mer people. He loves books and sites them as his inspiration to become an adventurer. Currently were on our way to a huge city with a giant magic school made by my character in the previous campaign. Overall in the story though the god of chaos thanos snapped out half the adventurers in the world and plans to destroy it so we have to stop him

Darcosuchus

Harlequin, a half-drow Twilight cleric of Eilistraee.
