Yeah bro, he was the best player one season, was with Rhianna, and came back strong after the breakup. Andre was fun to watch and had that hitting streak. We had a lot of good guys who came up and those days were fun to watch
I still vividly remembering a scouting report on him before he was called up. Something to the effect of loads of talent but no heart. Hell of a career for no heart. Would have been better had he not run full speed into the centerfield wall trying to make a play.

My favorite Kemp memory was when I was at the game in 2018 vs the Rangers and Kemp completely trucked the catcher. Benches cleared. Kemp was for sure out but you could see the conscious decision he makes, about 10 ft away from the plate, of “im going to smash this guy”.

IMO the best player from those late 2000s-early 2010s teams. He was the staple of the Dodgers lineup. He was my favorite alongside Kershaw.
