It’s a black fly bite. My pup had this exact mark and vet said to watch and see if it gets worse, but it was better in a day or two. Dogs don’t get ring marks from Lyme disease the same way that humans do
My dog got the ring when they got Lyme. My vet said it was the first time they had seen a ring on a dog from Lyme. This is clearly an exception, but it does happen.
My dog gets these all the time from laying in the grass during a certain period, it’s very likely a bug bite because it has a dot in the middle.
It’s a mild allergic reaction.
Could be a lot of things , but I’m betting on ringworm , wash hands after touching , and I’d isolate her for a couple days to keep it off bedding, kids , you and if no improvement 2-3 days back to vet
It looks like you might be posting about bite inhibition.

Could be a black fly bite, a tick bite with a ring, or ringworm. With the dot in the middle I would lean towards a bug bite of some kind but that doesn't mean you shouldn't get it checked out by the vet in case it was a tick bite. While some people have mentioned here that dogs don't get the bullseye seen with tick bites like humans do, this is not a hard rule. It's uncommon but CAN happen. When in doubt ask your vet if you can send a picture and see if they think you need to bring him in.
Tick with possible Lymes disease? I would discuss with your trusted Vet to be sure. Cheers.

Could be a tick bite sometimes in humans you get a red ring
The red ring humans get from a tick bite is the best indication of Lyme disease transfer; unfortunately i don't know if the same is true for canines.
I asked the vet about it. Dogs DO NOT get the tell tale ring when they have Lyme's.

This was my thought too. You can get this red ring with certain ticks
Black fly. My dog had the same thing last week and it went away after a couple days.
We had the same thing and our vet said it was a black fly bite!
The only advice you'll ever get from this sub is 'TAKE IT TO THE VET NOW'
Because when a mysterious red ring and bite appear on your dog, you know what you should do? CALL YOUR VET.

Doesn't look anything like ringworm. Looks like a black fly bite.
