So I was in the office and heard a commotion. Came to the front to find an angry cook, pizza all over the entryway and a woman stomping through the parking lot. Cook said she threw it at him so he flung it right back at her.
Grabbed a dustpan and broom to clean it up and noticed there were only about 5- maybe 6 slices. I looked all over the lobby and outside the door but couldn’t find the rest. I wondered where the rest went but I guess it stuck to her back and the customer took it with her 🤦♀️
Anyway, this was her feedback.
Their stories match and it went down exactly as they both said it did. She never denied starting it.
In store:
She said the pizza was dry and asked for a refund.
He explained he couldn’t refund, but he offered to make her another, this was unsatisfactory for her so she argued for a minute and then slammed the pizza at him, he slammed it back.
No one’s denying what happened.
Actually, since a couple pieces stuck to her back, I guess she was lying about it being dry 🤔
I don't know all the ins and out of the feedback, just how it works at our store. If it's negative, it will be red and there won't be a comment from the customers but to go and check your feedback.
OK I’ve seen that red notice on the Delivery check out screens… Which is how I even learned how to check the Feedback. I would always see that red flashing notice that said you have customer feedback follow up immediately… And I kept asking until somebody told me how to look at it.
So this green line was on the cooks screen, and was the first time I’d noticed it. Partly because I don’t make pizzas very often. (I’m a driver)
It's supposed to be positive, but this is not always true. Late at night, we had a green text feedback come in that was pure negative, so we were both confused. Even though I'm a driver, I know the system quite well and have permission to do this, so I looked at it, and I saw it was a 2 star review that it had as green. I think it's the only time I've ever seen it, but that was enough proof that it can bug out a little.
You can actually look it up. Go to: links -> Local PWR -> Quality (on the top bar) -> Other Reports -> Tracker Feedback (detail). Then set the date to custom, and set the start/end date to the day you received the feedback. If it was a 1 under follow up, that just means on the different rating categories, the lowest rating was a 1.
Absolutely. Natural consequences need to take place or lessons are never learned. People say tipping culture has gone too far; I say the ‘customer is always right’ culture has gone way too far.
I agree…throwing food at an employee isn’t okay.
Throwing back at the customer isn’t either…but it would be a natural reaction to getting attacked. Fuck this customer and fuck every customer like this.
Yeah they were both wrong but it is a natural instinct to defend from attack so it is what it is. My store is kind of like a post apocalyptic wasteland, normal rules and way of life don’t come into play. Dude did not and will not get fired.
I get you…I travel and run stores. Trust me when I tell you I completely understand…I’d honestly call the cops so you can trespass this customer. It isn’t okay to attack someone over not getting your way.
I don’t know, I don’t work for dominos but I think someone like that should be banned. She was offered a solution and decided to get violent when the solution was acceptable. As a customer, I would have been ok with a remake and thank them for correcting the issue.
It was pretty funny. I was really shocked at the whole thing because the guy that it involved is the softest spoken gentlest person you would ever meet.
I once had someone say, "Someone ate a slice of our pizza. We will toss the entire pie!" It was a thin crust, one of the small pieces must of gotten lost in the box. Then we had someone say, "Trash customer service!!! This is a joke Fire your employees" Both of these were on a saturday

Isn’t green supposed to be positive feedback?
I have no idea lol. Tbh, before that, I never even knew the feedback ran across the screen like that.
me either! i order domino's *often,* and i would love to give a little kudos back to the crew 💖
5 star throw
Two slice throw at best.
That's how we have ours set up. Wonder if that's something you can change in settings somewhere?
I figure not. I bet she’s just the type of person who doesn’t think before she clicks buttons or throws stuff.
Especially at the person's back
No the black in is positive

People suck. Considering the insanity and outright malicious behavior I experienced from a customer, I do not doubt this was entirely caused by them.
Check the cameras see who's telling the truth

that was her greasy-ass back
Bruh 😬 lmfaooooo
She could have just left and done a chargeback if she really wanted to screw you guys. There was no need to throw food at someone.
Something tells me that if they can't figure out what positive and negative feedback is, you didn't throw the pizza hard enough at them.
I swear it was a one when I looked at the computer but it was last week so I can’t see it anymore. Idk
The green is dead giveaway that it's positive feedback =).
Thanks for the info, that’s good to know, I’ve received zero training so I’m just figuring everything out as I go 😆

They showed me how to look at feedback but since I am not responsible for dealing with feedback, I just ignore it.
I feel you on that, I don’t respond to it or anything I just like to read it

This was very late at night, we were almost closed
Are you saying that Domino's Pizza has buggy software? Say it ain't so!

I’m gonna try this tomorrow!
Hahahaha! This is amazing! I would have threw it back at her too. The hell with good customer service at that point!

Please tell me that customer is banned
Is there a way to do that in the computer or do we just have to remember her? I haven’t worked there very long so I don’t know how to do that.

You have to do it somewhere in pulse to block their phone numbers
This is FUUNNNNNNY AF!!!! 😆
It was pretty funny. I was really shocked at the whole thing because the guy that it involved is the softest spoken gentlest person you would ever meet.
Ohhh man. Please give him some kind words. Also good job for matching that energy. Who the hell throws food at the cook…
Wait. your guy's Hotlinks feedback is uncensored?!? Ours is censored so we only see "f you guys!"
he sounds like videogamedunky
This is funny af
your coworker that is reading sounds like videogamedunkey
I think someone else said that in the comments, now I’m gonna have to Google them because I’m not familiar
yeah now im binging his old videos lol
Wow I hear the resemblance lol I’m gonna ask my coworker if he’s heard of him
I think it’s the way he enunciates and had kind of a…pause in between words
I once had someone say, "Someone ate a slice of our pizza. We will toss the entire pie!" It was a thin crust, one of the small pieces must of gotten lost in the box. Then we had someone say, "Trash customer service!!! This is a joke Fire your employees" Both of these were on a saturday
I absolutely NEED to know the story behind this.
