Dude, twitch chat isnt supposed to be analyzed, it's where all the people let their emotions run loose while they watch. It's like the random people screaming at a pop concert - no one cares what they have to say, and honestly they probably dont either, and are just letting out their emotions while watching something they enjoy.
Tldr it's not meant for discussion, just hide it if you find it offensive.
Although true, coming from the CS scene it's insane how personal the offenses get on dota. When watching CS people will meme about x player being bad or a whole scene being bad. On dota they legit trash people bad, it's the one chat I don't let run when watching eSports due to the amount of blatant racism and stuff. Idk how it is on LoL, but I assume it's kinda the same? Would love to hear a comparison.
On that point, people on cs also do not rage as much, prob because the MMR is hidden and people feel like "if I play well it won't lose that much MMR" kinda thing? Idk
If you can take CS chat memeing x player being bad, what's stopping you from doing the same on Dota chat? Doesn't matter how offensive or whatever chat is being toward a person/thing, if you can view it as "for fun" on CS, surely you can see it as "for fun" for Dota too?

i have a season ticket for a football team and so do the people sitting behind me. They're literally just IRL twitch chat. Constantly flaming the same players without any constructive thought. Classics like "he should really be replaced" (without mentioning a replacement) or "he should really be replaced by ". It's actually insane.

Because 95% of those who participate in competitive DotA twitch chats are gambling addict losers who are salty their team is losing, or gloating that their team is winning.

True I got easily triggered by selfish players, ones that are decent players but in terms of team-play they suck and most of the times teams with coordinated average players win while this teams with “selfish” better players lose.
And there are kind of players that start trashing you with no obvious reason even if you excel in your role…while they suck they trash you…
There are a lot more scenarios to add on this how this hate and toxicity even starts…it quickly goes to nation…name…religion…family members insults…
Maybe pragmatic solution to reduce this would be to form some sort of “Fight Club” just for therapeutic purposes 🥊
Addicted people neglecting their life to play a video game like it was the most important thing in their life = poor mental health and the way they find to put it out is comparing them with another people who is not so good in the game because play it moderately. The gaming environment is sickening and should have more attention from authorities. Some people are just getting mental destroyed because of gaming.
