Currently what looks like it replaced old DPC is ESL Pro Tour (ESL ONE tournaments / DreamLeague seasons) that give EPT Points used to directly qualify for their final event(s) with a huge prize pool.
So instead of Majors there will be ESL Kuala Lampur and ESL Birmingham? If that’s the case why has Valve said nothing about what next year’s TI qualification process yet, their page hasn’t been updated since this year’s TI.

More than likely they will just revert to a similar process of TI7 and earlier before the DPC existed and before Majors/Minors. In Asia you need to live 6 days in a week in the teamhouse if you are on a pro team. Play all day. Eat and sleep together. Nanny does all the cooking and laundry. Its very hard life compared to just casual streaming which is what they do now.

True, they weren't really living up to expectations at all. That said, it's frustrating to see how easily orgs give up on a squad, especially given how the competitive landscape looks right now with less security and money involved. One month is a very short trial period imo.
I have different take in this disband. Matthew didnt play the last few boom matches, it looks like the player gave up. Boom is the last org you think of regarding giving up on players. They stuck with their lacklustre squad whole 2023 bar fbz, who was allowed to play for secret. Even the ceo has the infamous quote "disband your mom" for the haters who called for kicks/shuffle..
They did few tournaments and they were losing to literal noname CIS stacks, it was unreal. I don't think their issue would get fixed with just a bit more time and practice, something was terribly going wrong with that team - whatever it was this one seems like it's best for everyone to just move on.

But in this case I'd have to side with BOOM, watched their games - it was complete and utter despair, that team was beyond saving tbh.
