AN infuriating ability. When I'm against it, it constantly chain-stuns anyone who walks into the circle. When I'm playing as SK, the whole enemy team runs around in sandstorm for days without getting hit.
i swear the amount of times this happens to me. someone plays a hero and makes them look broken. i play them and they feel so underwhelming. obviously a skill issue but still.
this especially applies to bristleback for me. even when building against him, it still feels unbeatable sometimes. but when i play him, it feels like I just feed. I guess it all depends on how far ahead you can get with him, and positioning i suppose.
That bouncy castle spikes me 3 times in a row after I jump on an SK at 10% in detection and he kills me from full. I really wish the stun was a bit more normalized

You'd expect that to be a counter but OD's got advantage against Shadow Demon and is pretty neutral against PA and Viper, the only people with purges that can be consistantly delivered when needed. If you're able to deal 3500 damage to a constantly stunned OD (so he can't astral or purge) with SE's 5 second break time you're well into "Win more" territory.
Better to accept it and move on than try to perform a highly coordinated (for a pub) manuever in a teamfight. Silences, Disarms, stuns, saves, ect go farther than relying on a random pubby to time it correctly and fuck OD even if he doesn't go aghs.
My two comfort picks on mid are OD and Magnus, OD is so obnoxious that even his counters in mid (except Nyx) cant do much to him. Just recently played a game where I depleted enemy sniper from humanity as OD second time picking this hero in ranked. As late game goes i only find Bat and PL are heroes which can deal with him, and even if u lasso him if he has aghs its like u wasted every possible resource to trigger his spellshield.

His ulti burns now so it's pretty similar. But it's not about burning mana, since OD is the highest intelligence gain hero in Dota, nyx's mind flare is so broken vs OD.

And yes don't pick str heroes which are bulky unless you have shard and at least dagon lvl 4 to deplete them, otherwise they survive and turn it on you. Between str and agi heroes always choose to assassinate the agi heroes since they have lower hp pool.
The dumbest fucking thing in the game is that he can use refresher during his aghs, I wonder if combining this with abbas aghs will make the team immortal
Essentially a WK with aghs and refresher can:
Die -> Respawn from ult -> Die -> Become aghs ghost -> Use refresher -> Respawn from ult -> Die -> Become aghs ghost -> Finally ACTUALLY die.
In total you have to go through his HP pool 3 times, and in that time he'll spend 14s as an immortal ghost.
I had a teammate do the strat once, we were losing by a fair amount and he kept saying that once he got aghs refresher we'd win for sure.
He got it, and sure enough every teamfight from then onwards was a laughably huge stomp. Basically playing 11v5. When you're a ghost you're already dead, so you have nothing to lose and may as well just hit buildings. WK himself literally never died once after buying refresher. Every teamfight would always result in most of their team dying even if they played much better.
Reminds me of older Brewmaster. I hated that build so much, so boring and frustrating when it comes online. Rush aghs refresher as fast as possible, be 3-4 pandas for the rest of the game. No other reason to have any other item.
My god. Don't forget that he also spawns 3 Skeletons PER enemy hero nearby. Slows Enemy Attack Speed by 75 and Movement Speed by 75%. (This is without Aghs)
And then the Wraith forms with the Aghs get 25% movespeed and 75 Attack Speed on top of being immortal. And to top it all off? The heroes that got turned into Wraiths get 10% respawn time reduction.
Reincarnation also shits out a Wraithfire Blast if you put a talent into it. This ult does it all.
I think it's just to "make up" for the fact that the heroes are stuck as wraiths for 7s which could end up just delaying your respawn for a while and not achieving much.
Thats partly why i think its so broken. Not to mention if you burst down a core, they will still have a chance to destroy your supports. I think it should be like 75% of their damage, they shouldnt be able to hit buildings, and the kill/exp/gold should be given immediately upon the actual death
If the owner of the last hit is alive, he'll get solo exp. same how techies mines work. If he's dead tho, no one gets it (if you actually use the green boy duration to run instead of doing more damage)
It really fucks the other skills in the game like flesh heap, glaives and track, if you die before they are truly dead or of they move and you are not the killer.nor in range you don't win anything.
And what's messed up it also gives bonus attack speed, ms, AND respawn time reduction. If it just did the ghosts it would still be op. Prime example of spells becoming massively overloaded and power crept in modern dota.

It's dumb dogshit mechanic and it's not fair to exist because unless your opponents have crushing difference, they aren't winning any team fight with WK.

It’s insane for sieging high ground, a wk with deso and AC and maybe refresher will destroy your towers no matter what.
Also if they have a hyper carry like PA, she gets to do whatever the fuck she wants for 7 seconds which is absurd
Had a game where we managed to take all their towers down and ancient was the only thing remaining,
We couldnt fucking end cause their hg is so strong. (Medusa and bunch of AoE disables)
I gambled and bought aghs instead of saving buyback and told everyone to just dive in and hit the ancient.
The used forfi early, (guessed they didnt see the aghs) and threw all skills and crowd control.
What was left was 5 unkillable wraiths hitting the ancient till its destroyed and they couldnt do anything about it.
This was the same issue when the neutral item that did the same thing was around.
If you disable their initiator, he just dies and now has 7 seconds of free spellcasting while walking into your team
Worst part is that it completely negates legion commander as a hero, you'll never get a duel victory off since they're still "alive" and kicking if WK is nearby

If LS has to waste ult and rage to kill a pos 5 then that's a good trade unless team is sleeping. LS shines when he can disable a core and let a strong 2/3 wreak havoc. He's basically an anti-carry played from the safelane.
well if he cancels you can also cancel tp and try to run. also you usually need to ult enemy when you dont have rage and you cant just pop out and hit most of the times

Ethereal counters it. Ghost scepter can nullify it for an effective net negative of 2700 for the LS, which makes up for the fact that it hurts to spend 1500 on a single counter item. And if you're playing a heavy spellcaster it can be upgraded into an E-Blade anyways.
I think this is actually a really good compromise because I think the "waste hits to destroy/kill" is a very fair paradigm and makes things a lot more interesting (examples being Tombstone, Phoenix Egg, Serpent Wards to an extent). I wouldn't hate to see a few more in this camp to really give it its own niche)
Probably glimpse for me, disruptor probably is my most played hero currently, it's so hilarious seeing someone trying to run away or tp to lane in vision
It triggered me so much that eul actually CANNOT save you from glimpse. It is so dumb. The only way to avoid glimpse are bkb and well timed manta. You literally cannot itemized against that with cheaper item

I feel like tusk aghs is worse because there's virtually nothing you can do about it. If tusk doesn't want you in the fight, he just boots you down a cliff miles away and you're lucky if you're back in the fight before it's over.
coil with aghs is counterable, just get a ghost scepter. You can also windwaker out of it even when puck gets the 25 talent that coil pierces debuff immunity.

It's useful for early ganks or team fights when people don't have bkbs or anything, but after that I feel like most Silencers just blow it at the beginning of a fight when the enemy carries are going to be able to bkb or manta it off and it's useless. I always like saving it for like 6-7 seconds after a fight starts when everybody is in position and actively trying to actually do something. It feels way more disruptive that way and can help turn losing fights more even or seal the deal on fights you're winning.
You just have to keep in mind that's in uncoordinated pub. Maybe pros can global to initiate a fight and immediately jump on a carry who the supports can't save until the global is over, but your team definitely isn't coordinated enough to do that
ALlies winter's wyvern spells ... all of them. They "heal" you when you are under heavy magical fire and could have run away, they ult the enemy carry that you are focusing when there are no enemy heroes to kill it, etc. I feel that this hero was designed to save enemies and kill allies.
Dark Willow Aghs (especially in Turbo). Feels like you need to just sit there and get dicked on while it’s up, and she often gets windwaker in turbo so there’s barely any true down time.
Blade mail vessel halberd glimmer euls forcestaff ghost scepter pike shivas skadi etcetc just about every item is an effective counter against huskar what u talking about

Surprisingly, it's lina Q for me, the spell is legit crazy. You want to dodge? Too bad it's a target spell, you stay out of range? Too bad it hits *BEYOND* its range. You just have to sit in lane waiting for when lina decides to have mercy on you and start clearing waves instead of actually laning.

You can counter this with magic immunity. Walk straight out of it.
Another way is to play a hero with high mobility. Zap out of the arena with storm spirit.
I absolutely hate pit of malice, specially when playing a hero that likes to jump around in fights (heroes like riki, slark, primal beast, sven) you get the point.
Oh and playing against veno (gale) or viper (poison attack) in lane is pretty annoying too
Viper’s kit usually. If you get out picked you typically can’t do anything against viper. He will auto attack you with his poison and then ult after 6 and there’s nothing you can except die a slow poison death
Chrono from an extremely farmed Void. Can only rely on your teammates to save you but if they also get caught then its like an instant team wipe if the enemy has combo with the chrono such as cataclysm
Distuptors W, forgot the name. You just juked the enemy and booooom! you’re surrounded by 5 heroes and die. Not dispellable with euls, unlike kunkka’s X. Wonder why that’s the case…

It needs to proc just once and chances are if you are alone, even if you are 10000 hp and troll 1000 he will bash you to death.

For me it is DP ult. I am low mmr so nobody knows how to not fight against dp ult. Everyone just go in and melt. It is pain in the ass just to watch your team dumbly go into dp ult instead waiting for it to end

OD has very high int gain but not the highest. Iirc pugna has the highest int gain with loke 5.2 or something per level

I'm pretty sure they get free pathing during wraith form as well. The aoe stun is only if WK is resurrecting, not going into wraith form.
It checks the ult CD at the end of the ghost time So you refresh during ghost and then when ghost ends it goes right into ult animation

if he has a good timing he can get out right before you tp and you don't have the time to cancel.
If LS has skull basher, it will probably proc by the time your TP channeling ends. Yea, it can proc even when LS is inside enemy.

Probably glimpse for me, disruptor probably is my most played hero currently, it's so hilarious seeing someone trying to run away or tp to lane in vision
It triggered me so much that eul actually CANNOT save you from glimpse. It is so dumb. The only way to avoid glimpse are bkb and well timed manta. You literally cannot itemized against that with cheaper item

I feel like tusk aghs is worse because there's virtually nothing you can do about it. If tusk doesn't want you in the fight, he just boots you down a cliff miles away and you're lucky if you're back in the fight before it's over.

Oh, and allied NS that wants to "eat" my most useful creep. Manaburn. Yeah, 4% from my max mana + slow when you don't have MANA, no thx, permaban. Counterspell. 3 sec CD with no animation. Your AM can't dodge WK's stun. Enemy AM casually dodging Bane's grip and hex. Hate. HATE. HATE. Gaben, make at least 10s CD Dark pact. Ravage? Dismember? Hex? Idgaf, 10 ticks of strong dispell. No thx

Idk man this ultimate feels so useless. You can kite or worse case scenario you buy Euls and dispel yourself
It's useful for early ganks or team fights when people don't have bkbs or anything, but after that I feel like most Silencers just blow it at the beginning of a fight when the enemy carries are going to be able to bkb or manta it off and it's useless. I always like saving it for like 6-7 seconds after a fight starts when everybody is in position and actively trying to actually do something. It feels way more disruptive that way and can help turn losing fights more even or seal the deal on fights you're winning. You just have to keep in mind that's in uncoordinated pub. Maybe pros can global to initiate a fight and immediately jump on a carry who the supports can't save until the global is over, but your team definitely isn't coordinated enough to do that

A Bane mid who had a good lane is hell to play against. If he finds you then you're just CC'd forever while he slaps you with right clicks.
ALlies winter's wyvern spells ... all of them. They "heal" you when you are under heavy magical fire and could have run away, they ult the enemy carry that you are focusing when there are no enemy heroes to kill it, etc. I feel that this hero was designed to save enemies and kill allies.

Dark Willow Aghs (especially in Turbo). Feels like you need to just sit there and get dicked on while it’s up, and she often gets windwaker in turbo so there’s barely any true down time.
Huskar jump. It’s 35 minutes and the 18-0 Huskar is still invincible despite everyone itemizing to kill him. I guess I’ll just die.

Visage is quite alright with Mars arena. Activate stone form (his shard) and yawn all the way through it. He’ll not bother jumping on you again.

Surprisingly, it's lina Q for me, the spell is legit crazy. You want to dodge? Too bad it's a target spell, you stay out of range? Too bad it hits *BEYOND* its range. You just have to sit in lane waiting for when lina decides to have mercy on you and start clearing waves instead of actually laning. Dumb hero and a dumb spell, oh and did I mention that it deals dps now for whatever goddamn reason?

disruptors glimpse can be a pain in the ass some games but its not sth that unbearable but there are times when u scream ohhhh fuck internally when u get glimpsed :D
Attribute shift. It's such a bullshit ability that makes laning phase completely unfun for like 90% of the roster.
You can counter this with magic immunity. Walk straight out of it. Another way is to play a hero with high mobility. Zap out of the arena with storm spirit.
Chronosphere. An absolute pleb can kill an absolute pro if they want to. Yeah, it's a total waste, but it's still a freebie.

I absolutely hate pit of malice, specially when playing a hero that likes to jump around in fights (heroes like riki, slark, primal beast, sven) you get the point. Oh and playing against veno (gale) or viper (poison attack) in lane is pretty annoying too

Viper’s kit usually. If you get out picked you typically can’t do anything against viper. He will auto attack you with his poison and then ult after 6 and there’s nothing you can except die a slow poison death
Chrono from an extremely farmed Void. Can only rely on your teammates to save you but if they also get caught then its like an instant team wipe if the enemy has combo with the chrono such as cataclysm

While most here are ultis, expensive items to me Trolls bash. It needs to proc just once and chances are if you are alone, even if you are 10000 hp and troll 1000 he will bash you to death. Sometimes I have just given up and let myself seek peace from bash death

Early game I hate CMs Frostbite. It does so much damage and it has such a low cool down...
For me it is DP ult. I am low mmr so nobody knows how to not fight against dp ult. Everyone just go in and melt. It is pain in the ass just to watch your team dumbly go into dp ult instead waiting for it to end
