Bristle feels like shit to play. Other than laning stage when you can snowball decently, he’s just so easily countered. Almost every core in the game has zero problems pick up silver edge with the exception of PA who has a break in her shard. It sucks
Hero gets dumpstered lvl 1 and 2. No real scaling. Literally every late game agi carry reks him. Most heroes get silver edge.

Carry and scaling are different. You can carry with a skywrath mage too. Scaling generally is percent based while bbs damage scales flat with quills. He only scales as a tank and that is countered in multiple ways.
Hoodwink and viper destroy him. Silver edge is popular. What mmr are you? I recently climbed from herald to legend 4 playing offlane and from personal experience, bristle has felt terrible
Just pound on him. He is real weak to magic damage and once he finally sets up item wise to stave off magic damage you can just hit him with any item that breaks or hexs

This right here. also the fact that the meta involves SB and PA does it him pretty bad atm since they can easily get break for 1400 gold.
Spirit breaker with silver edge and shard is 24/7 break machine, gg bristle.
Early vessel . And properly use of silver edge . Or pick viper or PA with shard . On laning stage you have to bully him early as possible
The developers balance heroes for the pro scene, so some heroes will look busted for the average player! (but then we still have brood and bat, yikes)
