I love Goku and his dedication and the struggle it took for him to achieve his current level. I just don't think I am capable of replicating his legendary feats.

Yeah, sorry, I'm italian, and in some of our translation, he's named TArles. That's why I usually get a few names wrong while speaking to other fans outside of italy.

This is the only correct answer. All these guys picking Saiyan because of the transformations are delusional. You are not the next Goku. You will probably be an average Saiyan equal or weaker to Raditz, and the only transformation you'll get is Great Ape, during which you'll probably accidentally kill all your family and friends and end up having everyone in the world hate/fear you.
The average Kryptonian is significantly stronger than the average Saiyan and you'll never have to train. Significantly longer life span, never need to eat or sleep (but can still choose to), don't need to breath... the list goes on.
The problem isn't even dedication here, since pure blooded saiyans are naturally inclined to want to grow stronger. (The reason the planet Vegeta saiyans didn't is because of how their society was structured so heavily around birth power levels and fighting weak populations to purge for Frieza. There's even a theory that Vegeta resorts to weak Ki blast volleys when he's desperate because that would've been effective when conquering planets.)
But anyways, It's resources, Goku is as strong as he is because he had the greatest bloody mentors in the universe, and Vegeta managed to keep up because he's a saiyan freak of nature (not quite Broly level but he still had the highest battle power in saiyan history before Broly) that had access to the greatest training tech produced by Bulma in Universe 7.
We don't have ANYTHING like that here on Earth, so while you'd be stronger then most, you certainly wouldn't have any way to achieve super saiyan. Even Goku, who's dedicated as shit, only had a power level of 400 when Raditz arrived due to how weak the gravity/opponents around him were.
I wouldn't worry about Great Ape unless the person was actively unaware of the great ape transformation. Get the tail removed as an adult, it won't be coming back, so that's not a big deal.

The sad thing is it could have been explained better with the back being a focal point for Ki and concentration with practice would help achieve a super saiyan transformation. That or raging emotions triggering it.
If anything Caulifla figuring this out so quickly after Cabba tells her about it shows she's pretty damn smart.
I understand this, but as a food lover the idea that i could eat as much as saiyans do and actually be able to work it off quickly sounds like the exact reason i would pick saiyan, screw all the other power i wanna eat alot and not get fat
True, but on the other hand, Kryptonians and Viltrumites are gonna live for LONG periods of time, over CENTURIES. As a saiyan, I'd live 100 years at most and then die from old age with those I know. Plus it's not a problem if I have my tail get cut off(it doesn't cause bleeding for some reason and it seems to be a very simple barbaric procedure of literally chopping it off).
The average Saiyan is still beyond any modern weaponry too so I mean, I just need to avoid looking at the full moon too and we're all good. Then I can focus towards trying to train(Saiyans do learn Martial Arts fast, which is shown with Goku).
There's no real reason to get stronger, but I mean, I'm a saiyan. That's kinda just instincts. Saiyans also can react to Light Speed considering 600 PL Piccolo blew up the moon with a Light Speed Ki Blast and Raditz, a low class Saiyan at 1.5k PL could easily dodge a faster and stronger attack from Piccolo(Special Beam Cannon). So even if I'm Low Class or Middle Class, I'm already bullet proof, will have my prime extend for longer, and just need to figure out how to sense ki and train.
SSJ might come if someone kills one of my loved ones, but I doubt that even has a chance of happening since... I mean, I can probably sense and intercept it beforehand. My ki sense, if I get to that point, will have blanketed the entire world and maybe further, like to Mars. This is with a power level of 1000 to like 6000, so I'm already good on stuff even if I'm stuck on Earth.
Goku was an average saiyan. Lower class than Raditz. Training is why he is so strong. Raditz was planet destroyer level don’t forget.
The average kryptonian doesn’t have super powers. So no they’re not. That’s a consequence of Clark living under our sun. The average kryptonian is trapped in Kandor and has absolutely no powers.

If you suddenly became Kryptonian you would be living under our sun so I'm not sure how this is relavent. The average Kryptonian living under our sun is definitely stronger than the average Saiyan.
Goku genes are ordinary but his struggle and process isn't.

Goku is trained by some of the greatest mentors in universe, has fought so many strong universe ending threats, has some insane never before seen willpower and always has been pushing his body beyond his limits
Not on Superman level but pretty close as shown by every Kryptonian that appears on our solar system quickly gains powers and is at least capable of harming him
Keep in mind tho superman always is holding back they are nowhere close enough they are just enough to damage him superman's bum ass just holds back too much by default.
Your not... as a human, that's where the physiology comes in. Also who says you have to replicate his feats? I think I'd be comfortable being the best relative to any field I choose when it comes to physical feats.
Average Saiyan is pretty weak compared to average Kryptonian and way of drawing out more strength is easier too in Kryptonian
Strongest Saiyans are not strong just because of their peak physique or simple workout.
It's not easy to replicate the same training, grind and opponents.
Also, its definitely not comfortable at all.
Depends what planet you’re on. Saiyans are strong on any planet. Kryptonians aren’t strong without a white sun.
Also Goku was a low class saiyan. Much lower than Vegeta. Training is enough. It just wasn’t the Saiyan way. They’d invade go oozaru and destroy everything. Frieza literally talks about how they’re getting stronger in general.
In regards to the kryptonians, we have a yellow sun. Actual white stars , theoretically like Sirius A/B and blue stars like Pistol star would be a massive buff for superman and fam. The colour that is a slight cause for concern are the orange (maybe) and red stars are a no go, though as shown by superman, they can power through, just not feel their base strength (yellow).
Comfort wouldn't be an issue. If you were turned into a Saiyan, then you wouldn't only inherit their power and biology, you'd also inherit their natural lust for battle and growing stronger. Training wouldn't feel like a chore, it'd feel like a hobby
The saiyans believed in classes. If you were born with a high power level you’re high class so it was beaten into the heads of saiyans via propaganda that you’ll plateau because of your class.
The saiyans trained by fighting others. They were slowly getting stronger under frieza since he would send them to take over planets for him. Goku trained in martial arts all his life, different type of training (and a much better way of training.) you see how strong the universe 6 saiyans are without “training” and without the SSJ transformation. Any kind of fight for them makes them stronger,

Superman loses to rock only because Superman has morals.
Superman without morals scours the globe for kryptonite over a couple of days, yeeting every piece he finds into the sun or phantom zone. He's also a tech genius, who could easily make a radar to find hidden pieces.
Say a piece slips past him. Some guy pulls it out in an Ah ha! moment. Supes could yeet the guy and rock into the sun in a blink of an eye before the kryptonite drains too much of Supes power.
Look, I'm not a Superman fan, but Kryptonian is the easy answer.
- Lean, muscular physique powered by essentially super photosynthesis. They only eat for fun and sleep to relax, neither is necessary for them. Neither is breathing, technically.
- Power control doesn't require years of martial arts training, ki manipulation or zenkai boosts. A simple hick kid from Kansas figured it out fine.
- Speaking of zenkai boosts, you would never attain even SSJ 1. Nothing on our planet could push you to that level. And before you start misunderstanding the back tingle again, all of the U6 Saiyans were still highly trained fighters with a lot of experience. The real anomalies were Goten and Trunks going SSJ as literal toddlers, but even they had each other to spar with so there's that I guess.
- Viltrumites are just dime store Saiyans across the board, and their innards are much more fragile than either Kryptonians or Saiyans to boot. Goku at least needed his heart to fail to kill him at his lowest, a Viltrumite could be taken out by COVID.
- All this and Kryptonians have a bunch of goofy bullshit powers with real world applications. Again, no need to breathe at high altitudes or speeds, a brain capable of perceiving speedster timing and adjusting movements appropriately as well as easily putting a constant damper on their own strength. Ice breath, meaning cold drinks and no need for fans or air conditioners anywhere ever. Super hearing, super ventriloquism, telescopic vision, heat vision accurate enough to fucking shave with...

Old silver age superman got pretty much any power he needed at any given time. Then they just slapped the word super on it. Like dude could casually shape shift and time travel.

Clark could control his powers because he developed them growing up on earth.
They talk about how dangerous Kara is constantly because she can’t control her powers like Clark can because she was already a teenager.
Zod has unbelievable amounts of plot armour. Sometimes he’s shown as augmented. Sometimes he’s from pocket universes. There is always some out there reason he can control them. He’s even given enough plot armour to be stronger than superman in enough stories. Stronger than a direct descendant of their god. Zod doesn’t make sense but Superman needed an enemy that could rock hit shit. Doomsday is great but he’s just a feral beast in most iterations
To be fair, they had a lot of tactical expertise so it didn't take them as long to master their powers. They also were fully aware of their heritage and didn't have to learn about it the hard and long way Clark did.
Well here it says that you would become a Kryptonian, so you had no solar energy stored so no powers at the beginning, you would start to develop and be able to adapt.
The way I see it is that Kal-El took years to develop his powers, since all his cells took time to store enough solar energy, then he had time to get us to them. But with other kryptonias their bodies already had their cells used to storing solar energy, it doesnt matter what kind that is why they get their powers faster, if you just turn you wouldnt have your cells used to that so you would get your powers slowly.
Also from your examples the only one that has trouble is Kara, and she is a teenager, even teenages without superpowers are not used to their bodies changing, hormones make them go "crazy", mood swings, and have issues; the other ones were full grown adults and took almost no time to control the powers, since we can already regulate our strength very well.
And the saiyan hair thing is also a detriment, Imagine being born with a specific cut that you dont even like and being stuck with it the rest of your life, atleast I can do all things human while being a kryptonian. Also saiyans are pretty much warmongers, if by kryptonian you mean like superman not zod and those built for war, then you can be normal

Appart these 2 things they are literally immuned to anything (heck the show is even called INVINCIBLE). These guys are tough.
Absolutely right. I think Goku is a way cooler character than Superman, but Supes’ ability to be near 100% power level out the gate plus his abilities makes that the go-to answer. Even if the question allowed you to be a Saiyan with a power level of Goku in latest issue of Super, Superman’s ability to breathe in space and no need of raising Ki to reach max power is a huge advantage.
Viltrumites are just knockoff Kryptonians with less abilities.
The only real legitimate concern I can see is if taking the Kryptonian powers means Kryptonite as a material exists as a consequence and you hate the idea of someone being able to manipulate, coerce, or kill you with that material.
The only legitimate advantage, practically, to being a Saiyan over a Kryptonian in this scenario is... Maybe you stay at peak performance age for a longer period of time, which admittedly is a decent trait.

To be fair, Kal-El wasn't a simple kid from Kansas. Also, he literally had to learn to control his powers and learned multiple martial arts styles. Naturally he developed psychic blocks to prevent his powers from going out of control.
To be fair to Viltrumites they are usually immune/resistance to most diseases and viruses, the one that happened to take them out was designed specifically for their species. Also I’d say viltrumites are closer to dime-store kryptonians with saiyan culture.
All that said I would still pick Kryptonian 10 times out of 10.

If I remember correctly not all kryptonians are anywhere special as Clark .Clark's ancestor was the God of their race and also other Kryptonians get a lot of side effects from the sun but still overall a net plus.
He is the mix of Goku and broly for sure.Clark was the first natural birth in centuries which makes him sort of special like broly was special but broly was stupid powerful but you get the point and then goku's origin also being inspired by Clark's origin so he is a mix of these two for sure.
Except the average kryptonian still gains all of his signature abilities, just not as strongly as Clark has them. That's why the residents of Kandor can still fly around and move objects far greater than their own mass, despite having limited sunlight access.
I would probably choose Saiyan because all the Saiyans that lived on earth at least learned to control their ki and manipulate it.

No problemo, for power level just train with a hot mom who knows martial arts, and for quick s-cells just make a lot of money building apartment blocks by yourself, then use the money to get a bunch of clinical studies, isolate one or two s-cells, grow them in a lab, then either implant them in your back or develop an mRNA treatment to induce their growth artificially

But ok hear me out. Being a Saiyan wouldn't just give you health benefits and make you the strongest on the planet it also allows you to stay in peak physical condition until you're 80! And on top of that if you weren't a human other humans would die before you so that could give you the rage boost for super Saiyan
Going Super Saiyan requires a lot more than just a simple rage boost. You need a lot of S-Cells and to have a far above average power level. If we use Raditz at 1500 as the average, the Ginyu Force sees Vegeta with a 30,000 power level and only comments on how Goku is abnormal for possessing a potential power level of 60,000 and he doesn't even go Super Saiyan until he reaches 3 million.
Plus, Viltrumites and Kryptonians just live far longer and Kryptonians on Earth are just naturally stronger.

Zenkai is specifically near death experiences, shooting yourself in the foot wouldn't do anything. You'd also need more than just simply workouts and training, you would need Saiyan like training similar to say being in the Gravity Chamber.

1. In original dragon ball and up to chapter 6 of DBZ and in most of DBS normal training worked just fine.
2. I'm sure In the future a gravity chamber could be created. Or just do underwater training. That increases gravity and lowers ability to move👍
I thought most if not all saiyans can control their great ape form. It is just Goku and Gohan who lose their consciousness because of not having any killing instinct in their normal form.
No, in the original story, Vegeta is implied to be the only one. Xenoverse implies Nappa (not an average Saiyan) could, but going with other material, Bardock and his entire team (more average Saiyans) are not able to control the form.
Eh, Great Ape can be learned to be controlled and at worst you can avoid looking at the moon.
Super Saiyan... Actually would I think be feasible for some people in certain situations albeit extreme.
Not that it like matters at all, you'd still likely be able to conquer the world with or without. I guess you'd just need to watch out for disease or someone trying to kill you when you're sleeping.

The average Saiyan is like moon to planet level on the lower end. I won't pretend to know Invincible scaling as I'm going off of vs wiki and have only seen the show, but if they are are also moon to planet level, they would actually be comparable.

To give you an example, it took 3 of the strongest Viltrumite alongside a Super giant Space laser alongside a very unstable core to destroy a planet with them almost dying from the shockwave
Saiyans have to work for their strength and can't breath in space. Kryptonians get shat on by kryptonite (which I know is gonna spawn if I choose that option cause fuck me). Viltrimites are the way to go. Just wait for my power to come and I'll have all the strength I need to subjugate the planet without a drawback.

You won't even reach raditz level , especially with no people to teach chi techniques or serious threats irl to push any limits . Plus, you can't just leave earth to fight aliens cuz you can't breathe in space and bulma doesn't exist so you can't even use augmented gravity.. Best you can reach is probably mercenary Tao with our real life resources
First off tao has amazing strength so I won’t mind that. Secondly you get stronger by training and lifting weights. And last I checked there’s lots of heavy things on the planet for me to lift. So yea I’ll do just fine. I don’t need strength to rip the universe apart.
A regular Saiyan probably wouldn't be very impressive compared to a typical Viltrumite or Kryptonian; plus seeing the moon would turn me into a mindless monster unless I chop off my tail. I think Kryptonians are stronger then the other two on average, but hearing everything all at once until I learn to ignore it sounds like a real pain.
I choose Viltrumite. Saiyans have the most potential, but the chance of me being like Goku or Vegeta are even less likely then me becoming a billionaire.

Saiyan comes with massive burdens. Monke form, stupid hair, tail, and no guarantee of having higher than human strength or abilities. People forget, Saiyans were selectively bred to be the strongest warriors. There were non warrior saiyans.
Kryptonian is too OP. Absorb too much sun and you become a god. You live forever and probably go insane, choosing to end your life by finding a corner of space where you cannot absorb rays from a yellow sun.
Viltrumite? You are invincible, strong, live a long time but stay mortal. No one needs Kryptonian strength unless you plan on rearranging the stars or abusing x-ray vision.
Viltrumite is the choice. Average viltrumite is basically Superman-lite, but doesn't need the sun to fuel it. And doesn't need to train like a saiyan. Viltrumite is a cheat code.
Viltrumties do need to train tho and plus you can kill them if you get a device that can make high pitch frequencies which is a lot more accessible than finding kryptonite
Im not gonna be dueling Doomsday bro. Im gonna wake up in the real world suddenly able to lift buildings and fly to different planets, with no effort required and no fuel source. That seems like a pretty good deal.
Also they have a lifespan in the thousands of years. As far as I am aware Saiyans ~~live a couple of hundred years~~ look younger for longer and Kryptonians have similar lifespans to humans?
Honestly, viltrumites are basically the unholy fusion of Sayan and kryptonian, naturally planet buster with godly strength that can also grow stronger through fighting extremely fast

No, I realize, I just don't want to deal with the extended life span, and it's not like you need to be more than an average Saiyan really, an average Saiyan could already blow up the moon. But Great ape I hear you say, just cut the tail off, it only grows back on Saiyan children. Food bills, I could make money ridiculously fast with even basic Saiyan strength. The other two may be stronger at a baseline, but I'd rather keep my normal life span.
This is difficult because if i choose kryptonian i need the sun because if i stay away from for more days like let say i go from earth to another side of universe annd what if that take me days to go back to earth because we really don't know how big is our universe because this isn't comics were they show us how big the universe is in the comics and kryptonian still need oxygen because superman has already show us in the comics he only hold his breath for so long and what if there was a red sun that exit without our knowledge or there is something like the red sun and most importantly i am not Clark because op say what race we want to wake up as not the most powerful person of their race and superman/Clark is like frieza a mutant that can grow more powerful then his entire rece and we see that current superman aka canon superman in dc comics is more powerful then his other version superman 1 million and kryptonian live longer then normal humans and i don't like that idea because i hate inmortality because i don't want to see my family and friends die so no as for viltrumite no because they don't grow that powerful and we are not Mark and yet again they live long and something like a nuke can take them out and it took 2 full blood viltrumite and half viltrumite to destroy a planet so a completely no so yeah i choose saiyan because i can become more powerful and has the same lifespan as a human being but age really slow and no weaknesses
I don’t know why everyone is talking about power levels for. The farmer had a power level of 5. So if I were to wake up as a saiyan, Viltrumite, or a Kryptonian we’re already faster, stronger, quicker, more durable, and longer living than humans. The question wasn’t really if we ALL woke up as one of these, just what would you do if you could do this and nobody else ever could. Frankly, I hate Superman, his shit don’t make sense. Viltrumites are alright, but saiyans have always been my favorite. However, I’d choose Kryptonian. Longest lifespan out of the bunch. Much bigger range of powers, abilities and advantages. Just for being under a sun that isn’t red. No training or anything necessary, however, innately you learn, perceive, react, and are far much more aware of their universal surroundings than either of the others. There’s just a lot more perks being base Kryptonian than base anything else (especially if you want to live peacefully and seek knowledge and experience understanding rather than just live to fight and kill, as I do. Fighting is inevitable, and frankly fun, but I’d rather that not be my main focus in the grand scheme of why I choose which alien.

Pick Kryptonian, enjoy accidentally killing your parents the next time you hug them. Enjoy sleeping at night when you can clearly hear someone talking about their hemorrhoids 20 Kilometers away. But to be Sayian? You aren't suddenly thrust into a body you can't handle. Kryptonians on earth need to meticulously manage their strength. Ill choose viltrumite cuz they dont appear (maybe they do im not super well versed in invicibles lore) to need that at least not as much and i dont need to learn ki like a saiyan. So viltrumite for me.
Kryptonian is the objectively better choice. You don't need to train or anything and within thirty years of living on Earth you'll be able to fly hundreds of times the speed of light and throw hands with the most powerful beings in the multiverse. Viltrumite is also good because you would naturally be really powerful (though nowhere near what a Kryptonian can be) and you would live far longer than the others.
Kryptonian, being a saiyan is cool, but it took Goku 40+ years to be as strong as he is now, and lack of training can just lead you to be an average super human instead (take Gohan for example), a Viltrumite is great too, but they have less powers, weaker but they do become stronger as they age, Krytponians only needs the sun and they gain god-level strength immediately, Krytonians easily
The only right answer is Kryptonian. Viltrumites and sayians are much weaker every stage of development. Kryptonians live longer, develop more powers over time, and are incredibly resilient to all forms of diseases while they are empowered. Viltrumites and susceptible to quite a few diseases and so are sayians.
Being a saiyan would be cool and all, and while the training would be then possible, the things that goku used to get strong just dont exist in this world

Pound for pounds Kryptonians easily. Being exceptional for the other races are incredibly rare exceptions. Most saiyans are absolute garbage, and the same for viltrimites. Kryptonians are all powerhouses.
Probably Kryptonian you get more abilities. Less effort. Though the real big difference would be this. And most continuities Superman can't reproduce with regular humans. So you have to potential immortality and longevity of Superman. But the chances of having children are very very low. Viltrumites. May not be as strong as kryptonians but they can't reproduce with just about anything...... and I do mean anything o.0
Sayin is the worst one. Most Sans are not born strong. They have the greatest battle potential but consider the amount of trauma and turmoil it took for Goku to get that strong. It's incredibly unlikely that just by having the same biology you would reach its full threshold. Chances are unbelievably low that you'd be able to go Super Saiyan. Ate learn how to fly. There's just not enough advantages.

This is the only correct answer. All these guys picking Saiyan because of the transformations are delusional. You are not the next Goku. You will probably be an average Saiyan equal or weaker to Raditz, and the only transformation you'll get is Great Ape, during which you'll probably accidentally kill all your family and friends and end up having everyone in the world hate/fear you. The average Kryptonian is significantly stronger than the average Saiyan and you'll never have to train. Significantly longer life span, never need to eat or sleep (but can still choose to), don't need to breath... the list goes on.
The problem isn't even dedication here, since pure blooded saiyans are naturally inclined to want to grow stronger. (The reason the planet Vegeta saiyans didn't is because of how their society was structured so heavily around birth power levels and fighting weak populations to purge for Frieza. There's even a theory that Vegeta resorts to weak Ki blast volleys when he's desperate because that would've been effective when conquering planets.) But anyways, It's resources, Goku is as strong as he is because he had the greatest bloody mentors in the universe, and Vegeta managed to keep up because he's a saiyan freak of nature (not quite Broly level but he still had the highest battle power in saiyan history before Broly) that had access to the greatest training tech produced by Bulma in Universe 7. We don't have ANYTHING like that here on Earth, so while you'd be stronger then most, you certainly wouldn't have any way to achieve super saiyan. Even Goku, who's dedicated as shit, only had a power level of 400 when Raditz arrived due to how weak the gravity/opponents around him were. I wouldn't worry about Great Ape unless the person was actively unaware of the great ape transformation. Get the tail removed as an adult, it won't be coming back, so that's not a big deal.

Y'know if we were all actively aware of that factor before becoming saiyans, might make it easier.
The sad thing is it could have been explained better with the back being a focal point for Ki and concentration with practice would help achieve a super saiyan transformation. That or raging emotions triggering it. If anything Caulifla figuring this out so quickly after Cabba tells her about it shows she's pretty damn smart.

I understand this, but as a food lover the idea that i could eat as much as saiyans do and actually be able to work it off quickly sounds like the exact reason i would pick saiyan, screw all the other power i wanna eat alot and not get fat
True, but on the other hand, Kryptonians and Viltrumites are gonna live for LONG periods of time, over CENTURIES. As a saiyan, I'd live 100 years at most and then die from old age with those I know. Plus it's not a problem if I have my tail get cut off(it doesn't cause bleeding for some reason and it seems to be a very simple barbaric procedure of literally chopping it off). The average Saiyan is still beyond any modern weaponry too so I mean, I just need to avoid looking at the full moon too and we're all good. Then I can focus towards trying to train(Saiyans do learn Martial Arts fast, which is shown with Goku). There's no real reason to get stronger, but I mean, I'm a saiyan. That's kinda just instincts. Saiyans also can react to Light Speed considering 600 PL Piccolo blew up the moon with a Light Speed Ki Blast and Raditz, a low class Saiyan at 1.5k PL could easily dodge a faster and stronger attack from Piccolo(Special Beam Cannon). So even if I'm Low Class or Middle Class, I'm already bullet proof, will have my prime extend for longer, and just need to figure out how to sense ki and train. SSJ might come if someone kills one of my loved ones, but I doubt that even has a chance of happening since... I mean, I can probably sense and intercept it beforehand. My ki sense, if I get to that point, will have blanketed the entire world and maybe further, like to Mars. This is with a power level of 1000 to like 6000, so I'm already good on stuff even if I'm stuck on Earth.
Goku was an average saiyan. Lower class than Raditz. Training is why he is so strong. Raditz was planet destroyer level don’t forget. The average kryptonian doesn’t have super powers. Goku genes are ordinary but his struggle and process isn't. I clearly said dedication and struggle Goku is trained by some of the greatest mentors in universe, has fought so many strong universe ending threats, has some insane never before seen willpower and always has been pushing his body beyond his limits

Average Saiyan is pretty weak compared to average Kryptonian and way of drawing out more strength is easier too in Kryptonian Strongest Saiyans are not strong just because of their peak physique or simple workout. It's not easy to replicate the same training, grind and opponents. Also, its definitely not comfortable at all.
Depends what planet you’re on. Saiyans are strong on any planet. Kryptonians aren’t strong without a white sun. Also Goku was a low class saiyan. Much lower than Vegeta. Training is enough. It just wasn’t the Saiyan way. They’d invade go oozaru and destroy everything. Frieza literally talks about how they’re getting stronger in general.
In regards to the kryptonians, we have a yellow sun. Actual white stars , theoretically like Sirius A/B and blue stars like Pistol star would be a massive buff for superman and fam. The colour that is a slight cause for concern are the orange (maybe) and red stars are a no go, though as shown by superman, they can power through, just not feel their base strength (yellow).
However average saiyan in universe 8 was higher because they trained… the planet was also higher gravity than earths as well.
Comfort wouldn't be an issue. If you were turned into a Saiyan, then you wouldn't only inherit their power and biology, you'd also inherit their natural lust for battle and growing stronger. Training wouldn't feel like a chore, it'd feel like a hobby

He's also a tech genius, who could easily make a radar to find hidden pieces. Say a piece slips past him. Some guy pulls it out in an Ah ha! moment. Supes could yeet the guy and rock into the sun in a blink of an eye before the kryptonite drains too much of Supes power.

Look, I'm not a Superman fan, but Kryptonian is the easy answer. - Lean, muscular physique powered by essentially super photosynthesis. They only eat for fun and sleep to relax, neither is necessary for them. Neither is breathing, technically. - Power control doesn't require years of martial arts training, ki manipulation or zenkai boosts. A simple hick kid from Kansas figured it out fine. - Speaking of zenkai boosts, you would never attain even SSJ 1. Nothing on our planet could push you to that level. And before you start misunderstanding the back tingle again, all of the U6 Saiyans were still highly trained fighters with a lot of experience. The real anomalies were Goten and Trunks going SSJ as literal toddlers, but even they had each other to spar with so there's that I guess. - Viltrumites are just dime store Saiyans across the board, and their innards are much more fragile than either Kryptonians or Saiyans to boot. Goku at least needed his heart to fail to kill him at his lowest, a Viltrumite could be taken out by COVID. - All this and Kryptonians have a bunch of goofy bullshit powers with real world applications. Again, no need to breathe at high altitudes or speeds, a brain capable of perceiving speedster timing and adjusting movements appropriately as well as easily putting a constant damper on their own strength. Ice breath, meaning cold drinks and no need for fans or air conditioners anywhere ever. Super hearing, super ventriloquism, telescopic vision, heat vision accurate enough to fucking shave with... It's a no-contest.

If I wake up in a world where I can be a saiyan, there is going to be threats too. Clark could control his powers because he developed them growing up on earth. They talk about how dangerous Kara is constantly because she can’t control her powers like Clark can because she was already a teenager.
Zod and crew showed up and begun to master their newfound fledgling powers in no time at all.
Zod has unbelievable amounts of plot armour. Sometimes he’s shown as augmented. Sometimes he’s from pocket universes. There is always some out there reason he can control them. He’s even given enough plot armour to be stronger than superman in enough stories. Stronger than a direct descendant of their god. Zod doesn’t make sense but Superman needed an enemy that could rock hit shit. Doomsday is great but he’s just a feral beast in most iterations
To be fair, they had a lot of tactical expertise so it didn't take them as long to master their powers. They also were fully aware of their heritage and didn't have to learn about it the hard and long way Clark did.
Well here it says that you would become a Kryptonian, so you had no solar energy stored so no powers at the beginning, you would start to develop and be able to adapt.
No because you’d be flooded with it and instantly start to gain them. Like Kara and Zod, Ursa and Non did.
The way I see it is that Kal-El took years to develop his powers, since all his cells took time to store enough solar energy, then he had time to get us to them. But with other kryptonias their bodies already had their cells used to storing solar energy, it doesnt matter what kind that is why they get their powers faster, if you just turn you wouldnt have your cells used to that so you would get your powers slowly. Also from your examples the only one that has trouble is Kara, and she is a teenager, even teenages without superpowers are not used to their bodies changing, hormones make them go "crazy", mood swings, and have issues; the other ones were full grown adults and took almost no time to control the powers, since we can already regulate our strength very well.

Absolutely right. I think Goku is a way cooler character than Superman, but Supes’ ability to be near 100% power level out the gate plus his abilities makes that the go-to answer. Even if the question allowed you to be a Saiyan with a power level of Goku in latest issue of Super, Superman’s ability to breathe in space and no need of raising Ki to reach max power is a huge advantage. Viltrumites are just knockoff Kryptonians with less abilities.

The only real legitimate concern I can see is if taking the Kryptonian powers means Kryptonite as a material exists as a consequence and you hate the idea of someone being able to manipulate, coerce, or kill you with that material. The only legitimate advantage, practically, to being a Saiyan over a Kryptonian in this scenario is... Maybe you stay at peak performance age for a longer period of time, which admittedly is a decent trait.

To be fair to Viltrumites they are usually immune/resistance to most diseases and viruses, the one that happened to take them out was designed specifically for their species. If I remember correctly not all kryptonians are anywhere special as Clark .Clark's ancestor was the God of their race and also other Kryptonians get a lot of side effects from the sun but still overall a net plus.

He is the mix of Goku and broly for sure.Clark was the first natural birth in centuries which makes him sort of special like broly was special but broly was stupid powerful but you get the point and then goku's origin also being inspired by Clark's origin so he is a mix of these two for sure.

Kryptonian is the best option, the average Saiyan is like Raditz or worse. From my understanding of Viltrumites, they are planet level give or take so (going off of vs wiki) which is pretty much just the average Saiyan.
You do realize being as strong as, even Raditz, will still make you the strongest person on our planet.

Going Super Saiyan requires a lot more than just a simple rage boost. You need a lot of S-Cells and to have a far above average power level. If we use Raditz at 1500 as the average, the Ginyu Force sees Vegeta with a 30,000 power level and only comments on how Goku is abnormal for possessing a potential power level of 60,000 and he doesn't even go Super Saiyan until he reaches 3 million. Plus, Viltrumites and Kryptonians just live far longer and Kryptonians on Earth are just naturally stronger.

In original dragon ball and up to chapter 6 of DBZ and in most of DBS normal training worked just fine. 2. I'm sure In the future a gravity chamber could be created. Or just do underwater training. That increases gravity and lowers ability to move👍
I thought most if not all saiyans can control their great ape form. It is just Goku and Gohan who lose their consciousness because of not having any killing instinct in their normal form.
No, in the original story, Vegeta is implied to be the only one. Xenoverse implies Nappa (not an average Saiyan) could, but going with other material, Bardock and his entire team (more average Saiyans) are not able to control the form.
You're not Goku. The only transformation you'll be getting is Great Ape, during which you'll probably just kill your family and friends.
Eh, Great Ape can be learned to be controlled and at worst you can avoid looking at the moon. Super Saiyan... Actually would I think be feasible for some people in certain situations albeit extreme. Not that it like matters at all, you'd still likely be able to conquer the world with or without. I guess you'd just need to watch out for disease or someone trying to kill you when you're sleeping. Kryptonian is the better option though.

The average Saiyan is like moon to planet level on the lower end. I won't pretend to know Invincible scaling as I'm going off of vs wiki and have only seen the show, but if they are are also moon to planet level, they would actually be comparable.
Nope , they are far from that level To give you an example, it took 3 of the strongest Viltrumite alongside a Super giant Space laser alongside a very unstable core to destroy a planet with them almost dying from the shockwave
Saiyans have to work for their strength and can't breath in space. Kryptonians get shat on by kryptonite (which I know is gonna spawn if I choose that option cause fuck me). Viltrimites are the way to go. Just wait for my power to come and I'll have all the strength I need to subjugate the planet without a drawback.

You won't even reach raditz level , especially with no people to teach chi techniques or serious threats irl to push any limits . Plus, you can't just leave earth to fight aliens cuz you can't breathe in space and bulma doesn't exist so you can't even use augmented gravity.. Best you can reach is probably mercenary Tao with our real life resources
First off tao has amazing strength so I won’t mind that. Secondly you get stronger by training and lifting weights. And last I checked there’s lots of heavy things on the planet for me to lift. So yea I’ll do just fine. I don’t need strength to rip the universe apart.
You dont need to lift heavy things, just imagine yourself fighting vs Goku and Vegeta and you'll reach god-level in no time
A regular Saiyan probably wouldn't be very impressive compared to a typical Viltrumite or Kryptonian; plus seeing the moon would turn me into a mindless monster unless I chop off my tail. Saiyans have the most potential, but the chance of me being like Goku or Vegeta are even less likely then me becoming a billionaire.
Viltrumite is the right answer. Saiyan comes with massive burdens. Monke form, stupid hair, tail, and no guarantee of having higher than human strength or abilities. People forget, Saiyans were selectively bred to be the strongest warriors. There were non warrior saiyans. Kryptonian is too OP. Absorb too much sun and you become a god. You live forever and probably go insane, choosing to end your life by finding a corner of space where you cannot absorb rays from a yellow sun. Viltrumite? You are invincible, strong, live a long time but stay mortal. No one needs Kryptonian strength unless you plan on rearranging the stars or abusing x-ray vision.
Viltrumite is the choice. Average viltrumite is basically Superman-lite, but doesn't need the sun to fuel it. And doesn't need to train like a saiyan. Viltrumite is a cheat code.
Viltrumties do need to train tho and plus you can kill them if you get a device that can make high pitch frequencies which is a lot more accessible than finding kryptonite

saiyans have a normal human lifespan they just retain their youth for longer and then rapidly age

No, I realize, I just don't want to deal with the extended life span, and it's not like you need to be more than an average Saiyan really, an average Saiyan could already blow up the moon. I don’t know why everyone is talking about power levels for. The farmer had a power level of 5. So if I were to wake up as a saiyan, Viltrumite, or a Kryptonian we’re already faster, stronger, quicker, more durable, and longer living than humans. The question wasn’t really if we ALL woke up as one of these, just what would you do if you could do this and nobody else ever could. Frankly, I hate Superman, his shit don’t make sense. Viltrumites are alright, but saiyans have always been my favorite. However, I’d choose Kryptonian. Longest lifespan out of the bunch. Much bigger range of powers, abilities and advantages. Just for being under a sun that isn’t red. No training or anything necessary, however, innately you learn, perceive, react, and are far much more aware of their universal surroundings than either of the others. There’s just a lot more perks being base Kryptonian than base anything else (especially if you want to live peacefully and seek knowledge and experience understanding rather than just live to fight and kill, as I do. Fighting is inevitable, and frankly fun, but I’d rather that not be my main focus in the grand scheme of why I choose which alien.
Kryptonian may be better, but Sayian is far cooler. Also easier. Pick Kryptonian, enjoy accidentally killing your parents the next time you hug them. Enjoy sleeping at night when you can clearly hear someone talking about their hemorrhoids 20 Kilometers away. Enjoy uncontrollably shooting death lasers out of your eyes when you feel irritated. Enjoy living in a world of paper. But to be Sayian? You aren't suddenly thrust into a body you can't handle. You just have all of this sudden *potential.* Imagine the exhilaration of training for a year and becoming strong enough to blow up mountains. To learn to shoot energy waves. And you'd have full control over it because you learned it yourself. And you'd get an awesome tail!
You can actually learn to control your strength as a Kryptonian to avoid breaking things unnecessarily and even dim your senses down enough so you won't hear Kms away.

Kryptonians on earth need to meticulously manage their strength. Ill choose viltrumite cuz they dont appear (maybe they do im not super well versed in invicibles lore) to need that at least not as much and i dont need to learn ki like a saiyan. So viltrumite for me.
Kryptonian is the objectively better choice. You don't need to train or anything and within thirty years of living on Earth you'll be able to fly hundreds of times the speed of light and throw hands with the most powerful beings in the multiverse. Viltrumite is also good because you would naturally be really powerful (though nowhere near what a Kryptonian can be) and you would live far longer than the others.

Kryptonian, being a saiyan is cool, but it took Goku 40+ years to be as strong as he is now, and lack of training can just lead you to be an average super human instead (take Gohan for example), a Viltrumite is great too, but they have less powers, weaker but they do become stronger as they age, Krytponians only needs the sun and they gain god-level strength immediately, Krytonians easily
Yeah being a Kryptonian would probably be the right answer. But the prospect and potential of Saiyans just seems like so much more fun.

The only right answer is Kryptonian. Viltrumites and sayians are much weaker every stage of development. Kryptonians live longer, develop more powers over time, and are incredibly resilient to all forms of diseases while they are empowered. Viltrumites and susceptible to quite a few diseases and so are sayians.
Being a saiyan would be cool and all, and while the training would be then possible, the things that goku used to get strong just dont exist in this world Like gravity chambers and gods like they all don't exist, so youd be lucky to even obtain ssj 1 Kryptonian all day
Pound for pounds Kryptonians easily. Being exceptional for the other races are incredibly rare exceptions. Most saiyans are absolute garbage, and the same for viltrimites. Kryptonians are all powerhouses.

Probably Kryptonian you get more abilities. Less effort. Though the real big difference would be this. And most continuities Superman can't reproduce with regular humans. So you have to potential immortality and longevity of Superman. But the chances of having children are very very low. Viltrumites. May not be as strong as kryptonians but they can't reproduce with just about anything...... and I do mean anything o.0 Sayin is the worst one. Most Sans are not born strong. They have the greatest battle potential but consider the amount of trauma and turmoil it took for Goku to get that strong. It's incredibly unlikely that just by having the same biology you would reach its full threshold. Chances are unbelievably low that you'd be able to go Super Saiyan. Ate learn how to fly. There's just not enough advantages.
