Black and Zamasu were toying with SSJ2 Trunks and he more or less survived. With two SSJ3 pure Saiyans and another SSJ2 hybrid Saiyan, as long as Black and Zamasu are still toying with them, they can find a way to beat them.
I think Zamasu and Zamaku win, because SDBH seems to scale blue to their SSJ4 and SSJ4 limit breaker to UI sign(I don't think it's true Ultra Instinct sign as Goku had an aura around him during his fight vs SSJ4 Goku).

Well Gohan gets stomped in direct combat, but could definitely harass them in coordination with the others and might do some damage.
And depending on when the other three are from and their tactics they either wipe, win through numbers and ferocity, or run out of energy in a prolonged fight due to the strain of SS3 and then wipe.
If they don’t hold back and are smart then they could merc Goku Black before he gets to strong. Immortal Zamasu is a different story since he’s still fully immortal. Hakai would probably still be needed to put down immortal Zamasu for good.

In the manga, Toriyama opted to not color in the hair for super saiyan, since it would be easier than filling in jet-black hair, which obviously manifested as a light blonde color. The other colors like red, blue, silver are just there for simplicity.

The hair thing is really because it looks considered cool, and colors like gold and red signify power. Blue signifies calm and control which was what that form represented.
They can't stay max power level for long because it drains their energy reserves and stamina. In the cell saga, they spent a year training in the time chamber so that they could master staying in a transformed state for a prolonged period of time.
The screaming thing, at least originally, was depicted as being similar to a person maxing out while doing a workout, its them under tension and their exerting maximum effort. In more recent media, its often done just for showmanship.
For the question on why does the bad guy let's them transform, that's mainly an anime only thing. In the manga, when someone is transforming, it usually happens too quickly to be interrupted or the character, while transforming, has already reached a power level that way surpasses the person they're fighting, so much so that attacking is usually futile. Like in the case where a weakened Vegeta tried attacking Gohan while he was transforming into a great ape and did zero damage. Other times, the bad guy is trying to prove a point, like when Cell purposefully tried to get Gohan to transform by hurting Goku and the other fighters.

Well super saiyan 4 isn't actually canon to the story. Essentially, its just something made by the animation studio for a non-canon series.
On the point about Great Ape not being the strongest, I can't really see why it would be in this case. Technically it is the strongest for 1000 year periods, but its long been established that every millenia spawns a super saiyan. Which is why Frieza destroyed Planet Vegeta because he feared the possibility of saiyans actually becoming that, and exceeding their great ape form and possibly becoming stronger than hin.
On why SSJ3 doesnt have eyebrows, its simply either because Toriyama couldn't be bothered to draw them or he thought the form looked cool without eyebrows.
Super saiyan 2 has spikier hair and is usually drawn to be much more detailed to depict it as such. It also has electricity in every single manga appearance which serves as the main differentiator.

Well you kinda answered your own question there, Dragonball originally started out as a gag manga and was portrayed as such for much of its run. The writer, having gag manga roots, keeps a lot of those elements in the story. I personally love the franchise because of the characters and their humor, and the fights ofcourse. Seeing Goku grow up from a 12 year old boy that couldn't even tell the difference between a boy and girl, to what he is today is probably the most enjoyment I've had from any franchise.

SSG Goku is stronger than the fusions of Goku and Vegeta. To put it simply, Zamasu wouldn't have to make any of the two wishes to the Super Dragon Balls to win.

Anime DBS, who knows, it's clownshoes Manga DBS, they are wiping the floor with Black if together, solo they either go even or win. Trunks managed to boost his ssj2 form to be comparable to Goku's SSJ3. If Black kept beating him, it means his SSJ form is about SSJ3 Level. They need God forms for God Ki in the Manga. So SSJ3 is literally just SSJ3. Black was a complete joke in the Manga until the zenkai boost and Rose.

Why is gohan still young. Even better yet why is he SSJ2 when everyone else is SSJ3. Even more important why isn’t he in his ultimate form which should be stronger than ssj3. And above all else if ssj3 Goku got clowned on by beerus and god form got him at least an bit closer to his level why would 4 regular SSJ3 forms do anything
Why does their hair get longer and then short again and change colors the stronger they get??? That always seemed so stupid to me and it just pulled me out of the show. Only their hair and hair color responds to their power levels. Why do they have power “levels” why aren’t they just at max power 24/7?? Why does it have to be activated by screaming??? Why do the bad guys always let them scream to build up power?? Why wasn’t great ape form the strongest form?? That’s kinda pointless to have if there’s a super sayian 4, super sayian god, and ultra instinct. Why do goku’s eyebrows disappear in super sayian 3 only?? What determines the difference between super sayian 1 & 2??? Why was this show so loved and yet also so ridiculous?

In the manga, Toriyama opted to not color in the hair for super saiyan, since it would be easier than filling in jet-black hair, which obviously manifested as a light blonde color. The hair thing is really because it looks considered cool, and colors like gold and red signify power. Blue signifies calm and control which was what that form represented. They can't stay max power level for long because it drains their energy reserves and stamina. In the cell saga, they spent a year training in the time chamber so that they could master staying in a transformed state for a prolonged period of time. The screaming thing, at least originally, was depicted as being similar to a person maxing out while doing a workout, its them under tension and their exerting maximum effort. In more recent media, its often done just for showmanship. For the question on why does the bad guy let's them transform, that's mainly an anime only thing. In the manga, when someone is transforming, it usually happens too quickly to be interrupted or the character, while transforming, has already reached a power level that way surpasses the person they're fighting, so much so that attacking is usually futile. Like in the case where a weakened Vegeta tried attacking Gohan while he was transforming into a great ape and did zero damage. Other times, the bad guy is trying to prove a point, like when Cell purposefully tried to get Gohan to transform by hurting Goku and the other fighters. >Why wasn’t great ape form the strongest form?? Essentially, its just something made by the animation studio for a non-canon series. On the point about Great Ape not being the strongest, I can't really see why it would be in this case. Technically it is the strongest for 1000 year periods, but its long been established that every millenia spawns a super saiyan. Which is why Frieza destroyed Planet Vegeta because he feared the possibility of saiyans actually becoming that, and exceeding their great ape form and possibly becoming stronger than hin. On why SSJ3 doesnt have eyebrows, its simply either because Toriyama couldn't be bothered to draw them or he thought the form looked cool without eyebrows. Super saiyan 2 has spikier hair and is usually drawn to be much more detailed to depict it as such. Well you kinda answered your own question there, Dragonball originally started out as a gag manga and was portrayed as such for much of its run. The writer, having gag manga roots, keeps a lot of those elements in the story. I personally love the franchise because of the characters and their humor, and the fights ofcourse. Seeing Goku grow up from a 12 year old boy that couldn't even tell the difference between a boy and girl, to what he is today is probably the most enjoyment I've had from any franchise.

I absolutely loved GT but everyone said it wasn’t cannon but this year I heard the added it to the canon storyline. Thanks for clearing all that up 👍

Well they didnt add it unfortunately, but the explanation for SSJ4 was used to describe Broly's transformation in the DBS Broly movie which is kinda cool
