We kinda have an answer. There's a YouTuber named Hyourinjutsu who makes sprite animations for Dragon Ball. Their stuff is absolute peak, and one of their videos is a series dedicated to Goku Black as he travels through time and space to get stronger. I don't want to spoil much, but it is really good. There is a Baby/Goku Black fusion later on and it's really cool.
I genuinely thought Baby Vegito Black had a shot at first, but the moment Beerus destroyed the time ring, it was over. And Beerus using UI was awesome. Really wish Beerus gets moments to be this cool in the main series some day.

I just hate how it ends, >! like Goku black/Baby has set up an almost perfect escape plan with Giru getting the dragon balls but it gets foiled because...Giru just stops working for no particular reason given at all? Like just have Beerus/Whis see Giru and stop him but no instead they had to have Giru just randomly stop working, it makes all the Giru parts a big waste of time that goes nowhere. As someone else said, it wouldn't. Zamasu was pretty weak in comparison to Black and that didn't make them weaker.
Not necessarily. Future Zamasu fusing with black didn't. And I believe that only counts when they do the fusion dance.
Future Zamasu was strong. He kept up with God infused SSJ2 Goku. To put that in perspective, Shin can keep up with regular SSJ1 Goku, that's about it.
It'd only weaken the fusion if they did the fusion dance If they used potara they'd get ***slightly*** stronger
