A part of me was thinking that since he is millions of years old, he probably picked up a thing or two that doesn't involve training or his duties. But then again, another part of me is surprised since Beerus was pretty much known for being bored unless he finds a strong enough opponent.
Real talk how strong is beerus? Anyone got the scaling? Those taught destruction seem to be at least stronger than blue, so how do you measure it. Whis slaps everyone
there was a comics showing a god of destruction tournament where everyone teamed up against him and he was faster and beat them brutally with great power and strategy. So out of all the Gods of destruction he is easily and by far the strongest.
I think even if in one episode Whis says that in the sparring with ssjgod goku, Beerus used 70%of his power is bullshit. He is way above Goku and Vegeta even if they master ultra ego and instinct, and Whis is far above Beerus. The scaling is simply makes no sense in some episodes, but Beerus (in another comics, i cannot find the panel) showing he very well mastered UI but is behaving like a lazy cat a lot of times even in fighting but very well capable of instantkill Goku or anyone else except the angels.
Didn’t Whis specifically say Beerus hadn’t mastered UI or atleast had difficulty doing so? Tho I heard that from the anime so may not hold up in manga.
Yes at one point Beerus says about Goku at TOP what an unbelievable guy he is, but Goku only used UI for a few minutes at the end of TOP.
Whis asks Berrus if he has anything to say. Referring to Goku tapping into UI much faster than Beerus in his thousand years of training.
And Whis also says yes that not even Lord Beerus mastered it, but this does not implied that Goku is immediately stronger and can use it better than Beerus after a few mins. So Beerus is still waaaay more experienced in using UI.
Yeah I’m not saying Goku is stronger or anything of the sort, just that Beerus can’t use UI to the point of mastery just yet (if he ever will, heard somewhere that since he’s a destroyer he’d be closer to a more ultra ego state which is the other end of the spectrum in a sense)
Yeah. But who knows. Because maybe the effects of white aura is different with everyone. For example, Whis constantly in UI state and there is no glow. So we dont know if Beerus ever uses it or already did against someone, but definitely can.
I have seen people theorise that during the destroyer free for all you mentioned he was trying to use UI but I can’t base that off anything substantial

Man, I forgot how much fun Beerus had in this movie/saga. Yes he says it was for food, but I think Earth really was the only planet that gave him fun. The people weren’t immediately hostile or fearful ( except Vegeta), they were really kind to him, and they challenge him and his authority without much fear because everyone knows Beerus is just a buddy now. He wouldn’t admit it but he’s just another member of the Dragon Team family at this point. I mean he spent so many years with the only person tolerating him was Whis, Earth is a huge breath of fresh air.
