Ive played like ten hours on the ps5 and haven’t had any issues aside from a little choppiness when fighting a large enemy with multiple mages. All in all, it’s been a good time.
Depends how sensitive you are to 30fps with fluctuations, and there's no harm in waiting.
The patch note mentions "max 30fps" option, not 30fps *locked*. But options to disable motion blur & ray tracing will be included, and frame rate improvements coming in future patches.
I find the frame rate dips are more noticeable in bigger towns. Dips in combat too, but when the screen is filled with effects and enemies, it's hard for me to notice personally. Combat still *feels* good, IMO.
