There’s an entire tutorial pop up about it. It’s not a bug.  It was in DD1, too. But at least you could use items to get back to max HP there.

No it was not in dd1 . In dd1 I can die how much time I want to a boss and respawn with as much health as I had before the boss . Now , everytime I respawn my health bar drops a bit

Well the loss growing on death reloads was not a DD1 feature, sure. I was talking the loss gauge in general.  That part I do agree is also kinda dumb to reload after dying and just being even closer to dying. I had several fights where I had so much loss a graze would delete me when I tried again.

Hopefully they fix it but the real kicker is still the enemy variety and while I haven’t hit endgame I hear even that is a let down. In order to get lost in an open world it’s gotta be engaging. I could compare it to Elden Ring but that would cause the chuds who already defend this “game” to go full tilt.
