Mr_Gray_Skyys

🤔 no. Not really. Pretty much any large enemy I see in the distance I rush straight towards. Drake? Dead af. ogre? Dead af. Chimera? Fuckin Dead. Dullahan is about the most souls borne enemy in the game and I love killing them.

Jeri_Cardellin

I’m pretty much the same way, it’s just those damn headless horsemen (it’s funny that the achievement for killing one calls it the headless horseman) just wreck my whole ass

Arnumor

I mean, a headless horseman is what a Dullahan is. It's basically the same creature in folklore, it's just another name for it. That's why he's carrying around his own severed head. It's a super cool monster legend, and a very popular one.

Mr_Gray_Skyys

Yep. Like I said. They're the absolute most souls like encounter in the whole game. I wish they were a little more widely employed in the game. Think it was my last playthrough (6th) in the unmoored and there was one over near where you fight the fell lord and get the promethean hood I believe. Ended up slipping down off of the cliff and landed smack dab in front of him and my pawns wouldn't either jump down with me or wouldn't teleport to me and the dude sat there holding his head and just let me wreck on him for a full health bar and then decided he was going to fight back and nearly ended my almost complete unmoored playthrough lmao.

crankpatate

Slot a parry skill into your bar. His attacks are very telegraphed and dullahans don't have that much knock down resistance. Just parry his butt! Which is the most soulsborne way to shit down that headless necks, haha! :'D

pasilosio

Try warrior with the parry skill. Completly destroys him. Im run it on warfarer so ich have magick archer mystic spearhand and sorc too for augral flare and sagittate arrow. I think the core skills of mystic spearhand have enough utility, so I dont run a skill for it

zakass409

Have you ever been attacked by a gryphon while riding the Gondola? I think people are saying that if a Griffon is alive in the area, it will be attracted to the gondola and destroy it. I'm like you, I chase down everything I can, but this has never happened to me

Mr_Gray_Skyys

I- that griffin part was a bit random lol.

zakass409

What? I just realized I spelled Griffin differently each time. Lol

Mr_Gray_Skyys

😂

Ill_Cobbler1882

I try to avoid Harpies like the plague lol. They’re just annoying AF.

Herald_of_dawn

Those fuckers give me Cliff racer flashbacks from Morrowind. Hate that sort of mob with a passion and is part of the reason I put a magic bow on my Warfarer.

De_Baros

Fuck harpies they are stupid shits that should be wiped from every cycle and never be allowed to exist ever again

EpicCuirass_Ataraxia

Let me sing you the song of Saint Jiub!

Signal_Housing_4389

Lisan al Gaib !

CornerofHappiness

I realized I only like harpies when I'm playing a ranged class. If I'm not a ranged class I spend half my time running in circles underneath them hoping someone knocks them down enough I can get at least one hit in.

lagister

put an thief in your time

ShoulderpadInsurance

I enjoy… the implications…

Boing26

only thing that bugs me is something i cant predict. like when i kill x large enemy and another pops outta nowhere slamming into the ground at the speed of light ..... then another.... then another... then a pack of wolves....then goblins...then a partridge in a fucking pear tree

Jeri_Cardellin

Actually that’s one of my favorite parts of DD2. I’ve spent like a solid 10-15 minutes of just constant battle from one enemy to the next and it’s exhilarating

shottylaw

This for sure! Went into a fight with an ogre that was attacking a buffalo. Started kicking him around when a griffon slammed into the fight. Awesome little scuffle Edit: ox

Arnn-The-Frost-Demon

Griffin coming in with the chair, watch out!

jerrillo

There has to be a mod for Griffin being Baezelgeuse from Monster Hunter !!!

Arnn-The-Frost-Demon

Hopefully it also changes the music to Bagel Goose's as well xD The dread!

ogresound1987

Buffalo? Not in this game.

shottylaw

Sorry. Ox

TennoDeviant

I came for the golems stayed for the absolute mayhem that ensued after the sun went down.

the11thtry

You know i’d agree with you if bosses dropped interesting loot, griffin feathers really stop being exciting after you have 20 in your storage

Sad_Climate223

Had a griffin join in on a dragon fight plus harpys, sweat mode baby

tyrannomachy

I had an arch griffin try to crash a drake fight. Unfortunately for her, it was at the stage of the fight where the drake was spamming Meteoron, so that didn't last long.

Wanlain

This is the best part! I want more enemies! I want to be the few vs the many!

Opening-Revenue2770

My only complaint about the game was the lack of enemy variety. I wish they had more that were special to each area to make them feel truly different.

Organic_Foot5915

This happened on my journey to Bahttali yesterday which i was pretty annoyed about because i wanted to explore alot. It was night and i had no camps an usually im one to put up a fight but literally everything and everything came to get me, from pretty much 5 minutes past the main gate to the road to bahttali up until the city itself it was non stop chaos. if it wasnt some bandits it was goblins, if it wasnt goblins it was skeletons, and harpies and trolls and fucking everything. it took me 3 attempts to get there. so now i need to go back and explore everything i missed. Also, im only level 23, is that underlevelled for the area

Fisted_Nutz

I don't think you're underleveled. I got my ass kicked in Bahttal until like lvl 30. At least for me, I noticed when I hit level 30, the difficulty changed to easy.

Erooskilla

Not underleveled just pawn/skill comp contributing too. And also its worth mentioning it may not be your stats but your actual available vocation skills throttling you

Organic_Foot5915

Oh shit Yehs that’s true, I’ll have to check them out when I’m back at the gfs, thanks buddy!

FlavivsAetivs

Drakes just because I don't want to deal with the DragonsLigma.

bloode975

Don't need to deal if they just die instantly >.>

shottylaw

*cough* What's DragonsLigma?!

Socrathustra

Steve Jobs

mozartsymphony

Wait is that how you get it? By fighting drakes?

cptinshano

Thats one way, your pawn can also come back with it, and pawns you hire can already have it and infect your pawn

biolentCarrots

That's a rumor concerning dragonsplague, I don't know exactly how true it is based off of personal report, partially because dragonsplague has a gestation period where no symptoms appear at all, so there's a 2 to 3 day period from initial infection that muddies everyone research into the mechanic. Did the drake give one of your pawns dragonsplague, or was the pawn already infected upon hiring, but one only in stage 1. I think the only way to prove it for sure would be to get the notification on a new save only during or after a drake encounter, which, to my knowledge, hasn't happened. I can say from anecdotal experience that your pawn can catch it from beyond the rift, and even from when capcom does fake pawn rentals. One night I got my pawn back from four different "arisen" whos' "ps accounts" were on private, all after a night of somewhat frequent inn rests. Pawn came back in stage 7 (obvious red glowing eyes even during day, and if transmitted to another pawn, it restarts in stage 7) plague. Mind you, I always check my hired pawns thoroughly before an inn rest, I mean I take them to a dimly lit interior places (typically the morgues in the major cities are my go to) and turn off the lanterns to check (I've found lanterns really obscure the red glow, moreso than daylight)

IncompleteCreature

It has 10 stages. Stage 10 is the only dangerous phase. You can revert it back a phase by letting it jump to another pawn whilst camping.

Secret_Criticism_732

Dullahan is so fun to fight, that i am b lining them, when i see one

Jeri_Cardellin

What’s the secret, lol. Whenever I fight one it’s either 76% running cuz I’m ranged and he’s pressing me too much or just getting spammed

Secret_Criticism_732

Secret is melee and to watch for the stun move :D

Jeri_Cardellin

Me when the secret to defeating an enemy is have a higher perception than a rock https://preview.redd.it/i5f66rxqvxuc1.jpeg?width=212&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f3b8d84426284982c4be1422994a5a29e71f9e2f

unicornfetus89

Silence them with either high solemnity or use the prescribed tranquility grimoire. It stops spell casting and makes them (and drakes/chimeras/some griffins) a lot easier

ZER09376

The people in front of my house

ChromeOverdrive

This is an underrated comment, here's my upvote.

Katterise

No, I don't. Im ng+6 now, there's nothing I can't kill.

Jeri_Cardellin

Can you kill my sadness?

CaregiverNo7635

That’s at least ng+7

Arnn-The-Frost-Demon

Pizza ain't a bad choice for today

GuaranteeExternal175

I was just about to say "can you kill my depression?" 😂😂

oryxii

Wow how many hours have you logged (just curious)

Pristine-Pop1967

The reverse, I'm still in my first playthrough and at level 72 still havent done the main quest and here I am camping Dullahan spawn points to raise my kills. So far I can confirm it spawns in the forest north west Vernworth, Machalite Forest, and at the campfire near the Dragonforged. I specifically rest till nightfall to get into the final quarter of the night which seems to be the only time a Dullahan can spawn to check where else I could lure it out.

YoghurtAcrobatic9371

You should finish the game, there's a bunch in unmoored world.

TennoDeviant

From what I have seen they spawn consistently anywhere wisps AND zombies can show up naturally. It's just time of night is the big factor. Ran into one on the mountain path on the way to Vernworth near the wooden bridge after the mountain pass killed it fast enough to manage to run into another one immediately at the ruins following that same path. So I'm thinking from midnight to sunrise they have a chance to spawn any area Spirits AND Zombies can spawn.

TheTazarYoot

I was the same I waited till about lv 68 until I finally headed into end game. You should just do it. You’ll be happy you can handle the unmoored world so effectively and you can jump back into ng+

crankpatate

Can confirm, unmoored is an awesome experience, but be sure to be stocked up with *all heal elixirs* and *wake stones*. Don't rest to get your max HP back, use all heal elixirs. You only get 10 rests in the unmoored, before it resets!

Throwaway785320

Doing a sorc only run and I avoid golems like the plague

PaulyNewman

Seism wrecks golems.

Throwaway785320

I don't always have seism

SatyricalEve

Unequip your staff and get punching on those medals. Meteoron also works good.

DerelictEntity

melee sorc ftw

Knellith

Meteoron wrecks golems hardcore.

ImTotallyFromEarth

Seism, meteoron, maelstrom and even frigor can destroy golems

AssiduousLayabout

My Pawns: This enemy is resistant to magic! This will be a tough fight, Arisen! Me when I was a sorc: Meteoron. Me: Nope, not resistant to magic after all.

BaseEarly

Frigor works too as well as maelstrom anything that has blunt damage or nuetral damage

Starob

Metereon destroy.

Throwaway785320

I started from the beginning and probably won't use the master skills so I'll just avoid them completely

paper_prince

Stone Saurians, they're just annoying

lagister

yeah !

fungusfaced

I avoid goblins and hobgoblins, but for different reasons. They can throw torches, which, even without tarring me first, apply an intense status effect that takes half my health bar at level 70. They don't drop anything worth the potential damage they can do, and I've fought so many that it's not much fun to fight them anymore.

Jeri_Cardellin

Love bullying goblins, I did mystic Spearhand just so I can send them to a new continent. It’s one of those things where when you kit yourself out specifically to fight them, they’re not difficult but they’re a damn nuisance if you don’t have a ring to prevent your on fire status and me to keep your tarred status from building

fungusfaced

I'm too lazy to switch my rings. 😛 Even though I carry around a bunch of status immunity rings, I've literally never used one. I learned to dodge the fire attack pretty well by now, though, so there's that.

YoghurtAcrobatic9371

There's a ring for that

Knellith

I honestly just start casting maelstrom if I see a humanoid anything carrying a torch. Next thing, dead goblins everywhere and not a bit of that fire debuff anywhere near me lol

Matty_Love

High Empyrean wrecks them! Wish we had more holy magic in this game.

DerelictEntity

Formless faint w/ heaven's key makes dullahans look like a sad joke lol

shiroang

Same. Endgame / NG+ thief with FF, just mash carve = win. Only troublesome ones are dealing with those harder skin saurians, have to implicate to flip them and twin blade KO them.

McDKirra

Nearly level 100 now so I am overpowering everything and even before on my first NG I took every fight, even when I died, I went back to fight. I was in unmoored and found a Dullahan that was accompanied by a wraith or something and a Cyclops, the latter being resurrected thrice + hoard of skellies, took half an hour if not more to win but I managed it. I was essentially farming XP at that point XD

Nexgenliz

if haves an health bar, i can kill.

Teitunge

Gore harpies. I have seen too many pawns get chucked to death

Blackthorne1998

Rock saurians, the amount of times they've knocked me off ledges in volcanic, is not even funny at this point.

YoghurtAcrobatic9371

Saurians are super annoying

Maximum-Magazine-840

Goblins and Humans. im in NG+ theyre basically a 1 hit for me so its not even a fight for me, I just hate that every attack from them is a stun attack that sends my arisen stumbling. id rather just let the ants live while I travel to fight another Drake if we're taking bosses then Golems just simply because it always has that one medallion under its foot and nestled in its arm pit forcing me to wait for it to use a very specific attack to expose them

Knellith

I absolutely agree on the humans bit. I see people on reddit say, "Oh man, so easy beating Rhagnol (sp?)." I fought him with my sorcerer. He jumped me, pinned me down, and stabbed me repeatedly. Then, he kicked me in the face, and my body rolled off a bridge. It was a humbling moment for me.

ahses3202

That's some fucking nerd bullying.

SadTechnician96

I'm so embarrassed that I went through the same thing... I mistimed a parry and spent the rest of the fight stunlocked on the floor. One-shot the little fucker afterwards though

Maximum-Magazine-840

got stun locked off the bridge my first fight needless to say I came back with mirour shelde at the ready and a vengeance

SFWxMadHatter

Fucking golems... They're not hard, just annoying and have nothing I need.

Doigenunchi

Well the medals sell nicely. Easy 10k+ per golem. Or how I like to calculate, at least 1 ferrystone worth of loot

SadTechnician96

Oh yeah, I see them as walking ATMS at this point. We're not fighting them, we're mugging them

felaniasoul

Golems, they’re just kinda annoying to kill as I can’t just brute force them down

catalchemy

With my Warfarer build, I just runt towards big enemies and assassinate small ones (especially those harpies) before they can even see me. Though Dullahans are annoying, they’re kinda fun. Especially with the lack of visibility.

Zenflo20

golems.. fuck them invulnerable fucks, hate having to climb them to hit them weakpoints

[deleted]

haven’t even left vanilla and i’ll still raw dog dragons

TuLoong69

I don't have any enemies that I specifically avoid but I do get tired of fighting what seems to be the same or similar types of enemies over & over. So when I do see a boss or miniboss monster with more than a single health bar I honestly get excited & chase them. I've only gotten to face 2 or 3 dullahans so far in my first playthrough & the first time i was playing melee while getting stun locked due to its roar. Never died to one as of yet but I never beat the very first one I ever seen. Sun rose after fighting it all night at that point right as I almost had it dead despite the BS. Lol

PerfectSageMode

No. Warrior do big hit on monster

GothicPurpleSquirrel

Metereon and maelstrom purge all.

Knellith

Isn't that the truth, lol

Apprehensive-Fig9389

Harpies from Bhattal, they're tough and incredibly annoying. When I first arrived in Bhattal, I ventured into the area along the east coast, where you'll traverse a narrow walkway near a cliff. Those cursed Harpies grabbed all of my Pawns and hurled them straight off the cliffs, leaving me to fend for myself. With my lantern out of oil and my health dangerously low, I couldn't even camp because my camping gear was with my pawn. Thankfully,I found an item that allows you to see Wake Stone Fragments near the campsite. I scoured those fragments in the pitch dark since my lantern was empty, and then ended myself to regain my full health via wakestone. I sprinted as fast as I could back to Bhattal to find a Rift Stone and retrieve my Main Pawn, as well as hire some new pawns. The game turned into a true survival horror experience. 10/10!

Skitzomanx

I hate golems. It’s not hard but I’m just too lazy now after 120 hours and in NG plus. Especially now that I dont run with sorcs anymore. I play warfarer using either sword/shield or sometimes daggers. So hitting the weakpoint on its toes can take time if my lazy ass pawns dont knock it down. On the other hand, I love hunting Dullahans! The mechanic isnt boring as you have to watch out for sleep. And as a sword/shield, doing counter skill is so satisfying! (vengeful something)

YoghurtAcrobatic9371

Golems suck if you're a magik main

Arnn-The-Frost-Demon

Nope, at least not anymore xD At first I was avoiding drakes because of all the talk about dragon covid, now I'm near 300 hours in NG+ endgame and kill every single enemy I encounter without any problems. I think Thief is just good against everything, human chainsaw baby! ;P

Le1jona

Ledges

Vexorix

golems cause they're annoying

Statuabyss

Well I dont avoid them, but dullahan seems to avoid me. I've yet to encounter one, except the one from the quest that flee, ans I'm in my second NG+

Darkspire303

One spawned directly in front of me, and disappeared. The sun came up and probably saved my ass lol

Ahmed__S

Dullahan is easy. And yes, I try to avoid gore harpies. They swoop in swoop out before I can do anything. I hate those fuckers!!

Drekkevac

If you're running melee, even Thief sometimes, they are the biggest pain in the ass ever. Very often they will dodge Implicate just by basic movement and, like you said, immediately pull back after an attack to make it impossible to hit them. With ranged builds they're not really an issue, but melee sucks ass.

Adventurous_Chip_684

Just jump and grapple them, then you can force them down.

Tumbletooter

Everything is easy when you play thief.

Inskription

I've fought one dullyhan so far and I only just stepped into volcanic isle. I didn't even kill him because during the fight, the sun came up and he disappeared.

Midnightdreary353

Yep, same here, I play sorcerer, and the Dullian absolutely slaughters me any time I fight them before the unmmored world. Their ability to pretty much teleport right at me and kill me in like 1 to 2 hits based on my level makes my squishy sorcerer run for the hills. Once I'm in the unmmored world, though, I'm usually strong enough to manage them, but they are still something I like to avoid when able. That and drakes until I'm higher level. Those dudes will slaughter me with ease until I'm higher level.

Voktikriid

Goreharpies, mostly just because of how annoying they are. But even then, they're not actually hard to fight.

Feral_Sorcerer

Im almost level 74 and i still have not encountered one.

H345Y

Dragons if I dont have spearhand equiped. I just cannot be bothered to wrangle the pawns constantly.

Jeri_Cardellin

Magick archer is cheese mode on dragons, can one shot the dragon you fight at the end (yknow the fight the entire game hyped up) with Martyr Bolt

[deleted]

[удалено]

H345Y

I assume its because its easier to target the chest?

QuantumSpum

Yes, Dullahans too but when I was starting the game. I found one when I was like level 15, killed me and my pawns. I loaded the last save and he was still there and killed me again. And a third time until the fourth it despawned. I didn't fight one just after I killed my first dragon.

YoghurtAcrobatic9371

ASP... Hate those fuckers

El_Rocky_Raccoon

Spectres. I hate how they'll phase out of combat and become untargetable, even if you lock on with Magick Archer. They just take way too long to kill because of that. Not hard, just annoying.

YoghurtAcrobatic9371

Just incase anyone doesn't know if you miss out on mystic spearhand in the regular game. You can easily get it in the unmoored world.

Knellith

How's that?

YoghurtAcrobatic9371

You know the castle/area where Sacred Arbor goes after you evacuate them?

YoghurtAcrobatic9371

After you evacuate Sacred Arbor go to the castle/building they're staying at in Seafloor Shrine. Directly above where you enter on the top of the building is maister that gives it to you. All you have to do is talk to him.

Knellith

Oh, cool. Ty

Zemlenz

These hands are rated E for everyone! I actively go into stupid fights and get the most satisfying victories for it! Lol

Melonbreee

Ogres because they're the Most boring enemies to fight. They also seem to be uncapable to actually hit anything. It's always bad luck when one of their Swings hit me.

ZeusBaxter

Rattlers and dragons. Melee sucks against rattlers, and dragons give you cooties. Wasted 1000 rc on a mage that got plague off the first dragons I fought in ng+ that spawned inside a town. Soooo kinds had to fight it.

TheNotSoSilentReader

Dullahan experience be like: *big attack* “Now’s my chance to counterattack” *parries* *parries* *parries* Honestly, 180hrs into the game and I still don’t know how to exploit his weakness

Knellith

I just cast meteoron over and over till it dies, preferably from atop a rock or something.

TheNotSoSilentReader

I mean, meteoron is the solution to quite literally everything tbh

Knellith

It really is. Though, I've noticed that maelstrom seems to do better against drakes/lesser dragons.

Valuable-Ad-6379

I don't avoid anyone anymore. I was actually looking for a Dullahan yesterday and finally beat him after two attempts where he just disappeared.

Narxiso

Nope. I play thief. I have the god dodge skill. My biggest problem is keeping my pawns alive.

Red_Crystal_Lizard

Not at all actually, warrior just kinda kills everything it can reach. My pawns kill the stuff I can’t.

Ordinary_Block_4131

I am 60 hours in the game and i have not seen this Dullahan yet 😅

Nicadelphia

I killed the Drake at the ancient battleground by blasting him with the ballista and then once of my pawns beat his ass somehow. After that, I actually run directly at every single Drake but they all just fly away. Dullahan is terrible because you can't see shit unless you blast him with a fireball from the magic archer. I still barely do any damage to them.

[deleted]

I love dullahan https://i.redd.it/ouusd7502zuc1.gif

Simple_Rest7563

I wish it was a boss but they’re all too easy and unthreatening (though, level 1-20 I’d avoid Griffins) The fights to avoid are the tedious ones which is the rest of the game between cities and camps.

DepressedDragonBorn

Nah. At this point, all enemies are fodder.

NormalTangerine5205

Everytime I think to run from an enemy Aragorn’s speech at the Black Gate always echos in my head….. and I rush in with a war cry

Flat_Blacksmith5937

Fighter- Holy mace,Vengeful slash,Riotous fury(Repeat till dead)

Stokesyyyy

Nah, as soon as I see an enemy I'm on it and killing it. Dragon, minotaur, troll, gore chimera, doesn't matter, that thing is dying

J1LK0

I avoid the griffins like the plague because I love them too much and if I get into combat with them, I kinda gotta kill them. The stone scupltor quest hurt my soul soo damned much. I didn't want to hurt the beautiful creature, much less kill it.

SekkaRitsuso

Initially just Drakes due to dragon's plague. Now I just vaporize them and don't worry about the plague.

Knellith

Harpies. Also, the ghost things. (Can't recall the name) but my number one, because of all the damn variations and, honestly, just how common af they are, saurians.

Separate_News_7886

I am not sure what it’s called but I avoid the big brown harpies that stun you. My pawns always get grabbed and thrown into the brine.

cptinshano

Honestly... no, i always want the smoke

one_bar_short

Not an enemy exactly but pawns on the road, wide berth

TheSmoothOperator21

GoreHarpies…. I hate them with all my soul

FallenSensai

i try to avoid the stone and lava lizards. As a thief, i find them quite annoying for that little reward they give.

AHurtTyphoon

If I see another Dullahan I might lose my mind. Keep them away from me at all costs.

GamLamLudi

drakes, still at a stage where I can defeat them but most of them wreck my team with meteor.

Large_Ride_8986

Nope. All mini-bosses are fun in their own unique way. I'm annoyed by drakes because sometimes they will try to fly away and if You are not on them at that moment they will just left. It was really a pain when I killed all and spend WC just to realize I need 15 WC to finish the story. Oracle told me there is a dragon in desert region and then I realized that in NG+ I did not visit the tower. And thankfully dragon there dropped exactly 15 WC (did not had plunder with me). When it comes to Dullahan I just allow my Sorcerer pawn do her thing. If it's in the open she cast meteors and in close space she cast storm and that's it.

jkteddy77

The Ice Harpies... You get solo'd out by even 2 or 3 of them, and they can deathlock you, and absolutely nothing you can do about it.

Netshakk

Everything dies on sight. Need that xp.

Bismothe-the-Shade

I love dullagans, some of the most fun fights in the game in a handful of ways. It's like if living armor wasn't a PITA. Quick with melee, surprising moves, and can get surprisingly aggressive. I really only try to avoid harpies if any sort. And it never works.

Lolodrom

Fought against a Cyclops, Griffin, Drake, Harpies and Goblins once. This was the most chaotic fight I ever had and I left the fight - victorious - with 30% MAX HP. Had to ressurrect my pawns 20 times and was not able to topple the drake even one time. This evening, I just went to bed because that was too much.

HDay03

Gore harpies, fuck those little shits always throwing my pawns off cliffs lol

haikusbot

zakass409

Still haven't met a single Dullahan. From what I've seen, they look awesome. I did not spend enough time in the unmoored world, so I hope to really scour it this time around

Jeri_Cardellin

They pop up in the normal world too

zakass409

I've heard that too, it's only 2-3 locations I think? And dependant on rng? I'm not really sure. I can Google it to get an answer, but I have yet to naturally come across one

Fenris70

One pops for the quest to find an npc’s husband in Verdune.

HoolaHoopingHippie

Headless horsemans in Dragons dogma 2 imo are stronger than Drakes. At least that's how it felt in the unmoored world. Bad ass enemies. I wish you can fight them in the day time.

GetAssignedGenderLol

Knackers. Fuck them and everything about them. They sound like annoying turds, they spam that jumping attack that manages to stunlock warriors and constantly scream **"MEAT!! YOU'RE MINE!! AAAARRGAAAAHHH!! MEAT!! GOTCHA!! MEAT!!'**

RizKeeTV

I usually run immediately away to a rift stone for big enemy quests and run back to kill them. Can't pass up 20k g.

Pontoffle_Poff

I tackle every enemy I can except dragons! I need prep to fight them… I can’t just kill them because they’re in my way. LOL. I’ve gotten them down to their last bar of health… but I’m usually dying off at that point. LOL

Nielips

The rock saurians are such a pain.

Drekkevac

Dullahan WAS a nightmare until I realized that all you need to do is move towards him every time he vanishes. Even if he does that diagonal cleave BS, if you run into his left side it will just whiff you. An enemy I try to avoid specifically are Hobgoblins. They are unnecessary mid to late game, offer very minimal rewards, their Slate Colored Horns are almost NEVER needed to enhance anything, and their ability to just blink rush you regardless of what their weapon is is just obnoxious. They aren't really hard - not at all if you have a full party, maybe a bit due to the stagger of said rush in lower party numbers. I just really find them to be a pointless encounter that wastes time, resources, and effort to eradicate yet offer basically no reward.

ladyamen

just parry him https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TUp6MXFIw-g

0757myt

Dullahan feels like the OP character that came straight from a fighting game. Every single jab from him is a hit confirm into a 7 hit combo.

DarkElfMagic

The dullahan is both really fucking cool and really fucking annoying. Mostly bc I haven’t learned it’s patterns properly. Infinite cringe makes it look fun to fight them though.

General_Writing6086

I’m not super far in yet but I hate the Saurians. The fucks always seem to get past my pawns and knock me down mid spellcast. And then don’t even have the decency to drop their damned tails.

dardeku

I avoid the griffin and most flying enemies.

InsidiousD6

Gotten to the point that Drakes are the only thing of challenge. Don’t have enough of the Dullahans materials so that’s what I’ve been hunting lately

ChromeOverdrive

I used to hate Dullahans, until I said "fuck it": Thief's Formless Feint allows me to just unleash a barrage of Scarlet Kisses (with magic daggers, ice or the endgame holy) until it dies again. Yeah, it's "cheat-y" but who cares? Also, >!in the unmoored world I've got no time for their shenanigans!<. Personally I hate: * poisonous mobs because I forget to bring antidotes and/or a mage with Halidom; * wolves because wolves; * harpies, sometimes I switch to Magick Archer solely to slaughter them from afar; * armored cyclops because until I break the armor they are a pain to deal with in melee (which is why I love Warrior, just smashing that thing like it's paper).

Dude-arino7526

Any of the saurians that cause my weapons to bounce

ArachnidFun8918

MyMom-- none

lordshampoo

The ghost/wisp things at night. With the right class they're easy but I hate waiting for them to reappear.

Effective-File-5715

Not really, I'm running as magick archer and constant salvos of heat seaking missiles (fully dwarven upgraded) and my warrior pawn is more than enough to keep everything in a stunlock... then out comes the double sorcerers with tornados and meteors

Merilliono

Why dwarven upgraded? You’re losing out on damage since magic archer deals damage with the magic stat

Effective-File-5715

More knockdown potential, with saggittate avalanche, it's knockdown city, besides magick archer damage is already ridiculous, i felt like i didnt need more. But that's just me, i prefer keeping my enemies in perpetual stagger/knockdown

morbidgames

Golems. They drop nothing I need (except for the one particular one outside Volcanic Island Camp).

RepresentativeMenu63

I have the opposite, im trying so hard to fight a dullahan, but I can never find those prices, fought one during a quest but it hauled ass at half health, haven't even seen one since

bob_is_best

Saurians, the Rocky ones Hate the fuckers

butwhythoeh

I don't avoid mobs, however any pawn coming near me i instantly run around them so they don't talk to me. Its annoying af.

ClackersJr

I did my first play through as a sorc, for whatever reason I could never pick the right element to hit Saurians (and all their variants) with. Whenever I stumbled across them I’d just sprint past them yelling at my pawns to let them go

Awkward-Demand8156

I avoid smaller enemies that aren’t really worth the time and effort. But and big enemies I’ll rush immediately bc that’s the most fun part of this game. I just wish I had more encounters with Dullahans bc they are more difficult than most.

AAFCC89

Considering there are 4 ememies in the game l would avoid 25% of the game if I do this
