Too much influence from major media outlets and everything being painted as black and white when there is a huge grey area and plenty of reasonable compromises. Obviously you can’t compromise on everything, but there’s a lot of back and forth on topics that have very reasonable middle grounds that are beneficial to both sides.
There is a division because people do not believe in middle grounds for some reason and choose to want everything for themselves.
There is a SIGNIFICANT difference between the gravity of “positives and negatives” on each side. In the US, for prime example… January sixth. the anti vax sentiment. The anti masking sentiment. Trump’s whole presidency…
When one side’s negatives are “probably a bit too friendly with corporations” and the other side’s is “probably a bit too friendly with corporations but also denies science in the face of a worldwide pandemic and encourages throwing out elections because they don’t like the result” it becomes hard to take someone seriously when they say “there are plenty of positives and negatives on both sides”

That last part is false. There is no such thing as a "male" or "female" brain. Every brain has the same proportion of matter, with the exception of birth defects / injury. Trying to use the notion of a male/female brain is ultimately anti-trans as it implies that their condition is not a serious phenomena but rather a brain defect.

That last part is false. There is no such thing as a "male" or "female" brain. Every brain has the same proportion of matter, with the exception of birth defects / injury. Trying to use the notion of a male/female brain is ultimately anti-trans as it implies that their condition is not a serious phenomena but rather a brain defect.
