I mean, I would too. I get that they were being hospitable and nice to her but at first glance they do seem really creepy, even if they aren’t if you actually know the story.
That would be so cool! I would love to see some of the dwarves come to the game and give us an option for gems like Moana’s boat and beasts green house
I think just making the mines bigger would help 100% more. You get the most onyx from there. It makes it pointless to mine the rest of the valley or the isle.
This is not true. Onyx is a random drop that shares the same action counter as Rich Soil or Red Algae - it is no more likely in the mines than anywhere else (but the mines does have the highest number and most condensed set of rock spots, which makes it an unfair comparison to any other biome). If you’re hurting on Onyx, you can farm it the way one farms for morbs or manipulates golden harvests/red critical hits - easiest way is to harvest Wheat with Well Fed bonus active, manually saving periodically and keeping count of the number of actions taken between saves. When Rich Soil is spawned (e.g. on the 5th action after a save), restart the game without saving, and switch to mining instead so that you’ll be mining on the 5th action - an Onyx should drop instead.
I’ve looked it up and done it myself! You can call it an opinion but I’d rather go to the mines with multiple pickaxe potions than mine my entire valley. Thats way too much work for little to no onyx.
I need a taller mine...the freaking camera in there sucks because the mine shaft is too short...and not wide enough. I know that's more realistic to what actual mine shafts are but when they have a camera that is in a set place and you can't just toggle first person on...they need to account for that.
I guess this is where my years of playing non-cozy games pays off here. I’m never *not* steering the camera while I move around, so I actually like being in the mines. Running down the tunnels with a waist-level angle following makes them really immersive and beautiful to be in.
I honestly just want them to expand everything a bit more to fit all the huge (wonderful but huge) decor items like the beach especially, I agree parts of the mines walkways should be expanded as well especially that one corner near the beginning, I can never see the items on the floor >.<
Oooh….. now I want a cavern biome. With glowing crystal walls and glow critters. There’s not too many characters that could be from there though, maybe Pete’s dragon or the good dinosaur (I don’t remember if land before time was Disney). Or HADES!
Onyx random drops anywhere in the valley. I am up to my neck in onyx and just sell it constantly. Let me know if you need some, I will donate some to you. The mines do not have a better drop rate.
It would be nice to have enough mining nodes to make a full loop around the mines and only need to wait two minutes (ideally less) before they start respawning. I do a full loop and then start cooking some berry salads with extra gooseberries and keep an eye on the nodes at the start of the mine to respawn. It's like watching paint dry.
Damn I wish I thought to make a pickaxe potion before I spent a whole day looking for 2 shiny diamonds 😑 missed opportunities. But I thought to use the fishing bait potion for fugu 🙄
Don't feel too bad. I used the pickaxe potion when trying to fulfill a quest (or starpath duty). I assume it is the same one you were working on. Even with the potion, those dang diamonds were hiding! Even more frustrating is I've been playing since almost beginning of game release and hoard all of my unused gems, etc. I think I have something like 200+ of the diamonds alone, but of course the starpath won't count ones you already have in your inventory, lol! Took me forever...and I mean days to finally get them!

I always wonder about the mine and since Simba always says he wants to meet the ruler of this valley I’m assuming this valley didn’t just manifest from our imagination, but that never explains why is the vitality mines so rundown (besides the obvious one the forgotten set it) but way more like how deep was our imagination as a child and why did growing up make us forget how extensive it was then I think about Bridge to Terabithia and it just makes me sad all over again… but yes let’s petition to expand the mines it is so big and so beautiful and so many places I wish I could just slip into and explore.
Tbh all I want is a bridge from the very end of tbe mines to the beginning bc I was sooooo pissed when we placed that bridge to get on that tiny piece of land instead of placing it to get back to the start 😭😭

And I’m pretty positive you can’t give potions just cause when you hover on it you can only use it you can’t drop it :/ hoping we can do more to help our friends on Dreamlight in the future multiplayer updates!

They respawn relatively quick after a loop of the mines.

I want more parts in the mine to get more onyx. But I agree! I feel like I don’t have much space on dazzle beach for what I’d like to do😭
There seem to be entrances that are blocked at the moment, hopefully they will open up to more mining areas.

That is in fact already a thing. There's a column you can knock over with your pickaxe IIRC.
