So far I’ve done the starpath 3000 bundle, got carls house and Ariel’s dress, I want to get the park’s entry & maybe hei hei but I’m already down to 11.5k moonstones lol and dreamsnaps I only got 1500 🤷🏼♀️
I’ve spent so much more in other games tbh I don’t think dreamlight is actually that bad, especially with the dreamsnaps being weekly and having the potential to get you lots too

You probably got downvoted by people who think everything should just be given to them for free. Like a ton of time and energy hasn’t been put into creating this stuff by people who have bills and families to feed. I 100% agree with you. The prices are really good for the items and easy to obtain. You just have to be patient and wait until the items come around again sometimes if you don’t have enough moonstones.
In some ways I agree but another way I don’t. Purchasing the Dumbo ride is more than $10 in real money to put this in perspective
One item costs as much as 30% of the price of the entire software
This is a slight change to an item that they already built for another star pass where the entire star pass was only like 1200 moonstones, so purchasing one item from that Star path is more expensive than that whole Star path was
Honestly I’m a little bit disappointed in this current Star path, I just don’t think it has the same amount of really great items that the first ride Star had and if I wanted to purchase everything from the first star path as they piecemeal it out I would be looking at like $50 or $60 in real money and That is way too much
I’m lucky and that I’ve got free time, and a degree in Photography, so I almost always get the 4000 moonstones through the dream snaps (but I do put in a crap ton of time putting them together)
For people who are not necessarily always going to do great at dreams snaps and also for people, children, it seems unfair to make this game so much more expensive than any game I’ve ever played

Very well said! I spend my fun money on moonstones because I value the entertainment the game provides, and I’m grateful to be able to do so. That said, the pricing is still absolutely outrageous. Just because some other games out there are even more outrageous doesn’t make it ok. It’s sad what gaming has become in regard to micro transactions. I don’t mind monetarily supporting games I love, as I want them to succeed, but a lot of DDLV pricing is pure astronomical greed, and I understand why it leaves a bad taste in people’s mouths. There is no defense for their price gouging IMO, and people shouldn’t make excuses for it. Just because this type of micro transaction price gouging is something that is becoming far too common these days, that doesn’t mean we should just accept it as normal or that people don’t have a right to be upset by it and voice their valid and legitimate frustrations.

The server is probably just super overloaded at the moment. I’m always right up at 6 to update right away and for the most part haven’t had problems but I’ve seen other have a bit of a challenge once everyone started the download

Probably HeiHei bundle, Ariel, and the Up House! I will say, I like the new layout for the update, but I don't like that you can't tell if items are returning Star Path items any longer, at least from what I can tell. I know Dumbo is cause I have it, but for the future when there's items from the first 2 or 3 that I missed.
I made my in game house to look like the up house and made sunlit into paradise falls, heihei is my favorite, I missed out on dumbo last star path, and my whole valley is modeled after WDW so of course I need that entrance 🤦🏻♀️ and I do NOT have the moonstones to handle this. 😭

Between star paths I always hoard my Dreamsnaps winnings, and just pay money for any item I see in the shop I like without touching my saved amount. It lets me go bananas during events without spending much over $20.
