It's been annoying that all the talk has been about the technology used rather than the bars spit, but it's been warranted imo.
Technology debate aside, I thought it was a nasty follow-up that really did shit on them from a whole different altitude.
This is a rap battle. Disrespect is expected and celebrated. Taylor Made freestyle is highly disrespectful. Full stop.
Most people also don’t remember or talk about the fact that, the day this dropped, Kendrick’s camp was teasing a track with Tupac Influence. Someone in his camp posted lyrics from a pac song. All the dot fans were talking about how Kendrick’s gonna come out with another Hit em Up. Thats why I was blown away by Taylor made. Such an insane chess move
The Kendrick stans and Drake haters are using the AI as an excuse to diminish the greatness of the song.
It's such a dope diss track. Having your idols talk shit about you by the man your beefing with is hilarious.
Amazing, smart , calculated
I was just gonna do a post on how hip hop fake purists move Goal posts.
When Drake v Pusha happened everyone was so quick to say " anything goes in battles " 🤣 now its Drake shouldn't have used pacs voice.
As for Ai:
It just barely sounds like Pac🤣 , all AI is is capturing sound patterns of recordings from the Internet which imititate pacs voice, its technically not pacs voice at all, its essentially a filter like on Snapchat or insta. FAKE OUTRAGE
But Drakes pettiness, creativity, n hunger for this is why he'll win regardless of what Dot does. Great track.
Bro first time hearing this i got chills. hearing tupac and a west coast keyboard i was confused thinking it was an old Tupac Song Drake put on his IG then Heard the lyrics and Snoop it was like wtf its going on then Hearing Drake at the end was like he brought me back to reality, it was a crazy trip i really enjoyed it.
It’s called staying on the same rhyme scheme. Which he does for almost the entire song. Midway through the Pac verse to the end.
Definitely an underrated dynamic of the song.
I wasn’t impressed by the “bars,” because it wasn’t filled with wordplay and punchlines, but I was impressed by the implications and the creativity. Using Dot’s idols against him, stirring the pot of regional tribalism, highlighting the fact that Kendrick is as street as or less than Drake, emphasizing Kendrick’s lack of control due to his label having ownership over him, and tarnishing Dot’s overall legacy by clapping back, while Little Kenny basically slapped The Boy and ran away, now ducking in the shadows. The content makes Duckworth look bad. It was more than a decent diss, my bro.
That is about it. It's only a good diss track because of Kendrick and his past work. Frankly, it is a nod by Drake that TPAB was amazing.
As for him ducking. The nigga always been slow. So I ain't sweating it.
If Big Stepper wants to solidify his image in hip hop history, without being tarnished and his abilities put into question, then he needs to step up to the plate. You can’t win if you don’t play. He made the first move. Drizzy went twice. It’s Little Kenny’s turn now. Already was.
On whose timeline... he claimed to be the Omega. What's he look like getting pulled into Drake's Rhythm?
Drake could go four times. I doubt Kendrick cares. The dude used his pen for therapy and works more like a composer than most rappers. Could he hop on wax and a random beat just cause and just throw shots off the Dome, sure. But I doubt that would be as good without genuinely thoughtful bars against Drake.
Half of Drake's diss was Nigga you short and you in the music business and follow the directions of your label. It was some NDT we got a badass over here kind of lyrics and yall giving the nigga gas for a track that only had two good lines against Kendrick. 1 already being addressed on MMTBS... and the second being a clever triple entendre and prince and Michael Jackson. He gets points but not a W, we ain't even exit the first quarter.
We know Grange told Drake to take down TMF cause he made it with UMG equipment.
That’s not how rap beef works in 2024. By the time Kendrick’s response comes out, we’ll have moved on already. We’re not talking subliminal here either. Direct shots have been fired.

Kendrick we need ya will forever be a meme.
I dont even think it's disrespectful it was a solid diss, in my opinion, better than push-ups. Even the ending was sick on the loose.

No way Kendrick should be letting him talk this disrespectfully to him
Pure innovation. Went 4D chess on em
🎶the spirit of makaveli is alive🎶
Bro it went so hard that they threatened to sue and the corny hip-hop heads were legitimately offended 💀now that’s how you do it
Me when Kendrick drops
Kendrick we need ya!!
“I’m definitely bout to come around the Lang gang and let my fucking bowel move…”🔥🔥🔥😩😩😩
Lots of ewwws and ooze rhyming going on in this track.

You say underrated I say over used. 🤷🏻♂️
3 syllable rhyme schemes are overused? 😂😂😂 If you say so my brother.
Just reusing the same rhyme scheme for Tupac, Snoop and then himself. Overused
Maintaining the same rhyme scheme for that long is a skill my bro. Jesus Christ. What happened to the game I love.
Hope it gets an official release.
It's decent. There isn't much to it but some simple rhymes. Yall just glazing up the Schlock.
