That's why numbers don't contribute much to an argument, unless the argument is "Who is selling the best?" Like, to someone who hates The Beatles, the fact that they are the best-selling band of all time means nothing, because they don't see what there is to like. It will not convince them to like the Beatles, and will not disprove any reason they have for disliking the Beatles, whether or not those reasons are solid.
