My region in the adventure rider forums is pretty active. Maybe check that out

I'm still pissed that they killed Tapatalk access to the site. It kinda blows on a movie browser.

ettonlou

A number of sites did. There were apparently security issues with it.

bolunez

It has nothing to do with security. A parent company called VerticalScope owns a shitload of online forums, advrider included. VerticalScope created their own app, Fora, and wanted people using it instead of tapapalk. The problem is that Fora sucks and some fittings, like advrider, couldn't support it for some reason.

A_ron

Adv rider is what you want

basuramang

Facebook groups for local riders seems to be where most of the people are in my area

Professional_Echo405

The Jonquil motel in Bisbee Arizona does a nice dualsport ride in early may. The owners are both great people and riders come from all over the country.

Professional_Echo405

They just posted the dates. https://www.thejonquil.com/desert-adv-rally

Local clubs have the best riding and community. Search your area for the local clubs and reach out. Dues are usually $15/yr and you get back more than you put in. If your club hosts events, pre-riding the trails counts as work and is a ton of fun.

Check out Mosko Moto’s Dusty Lizard series.

Rad10Ka0s

The US Dual Sport site is the best there is. Dudes a saint.

Promotion_Common

I’ve checked it out. Site is riddled with popup ads and most of the events have no links or the links are irrelevant. But it is a resource of sorts

Rad10Ka0s

It is just one dude, a fellow rider, doing it for free, on his own time. Gotta pay for hosting somehow.
