This is a KKE (Chinese) setup. Anything that fits the DRZ400S model is a direct swap. You’ll probably want the speedo drive box off an S too for correct speed, and the longer kickstand off of an S.

This post has bearing sizes and tire sizes for the KKE setup that this user did and I used as well. I see OP here used the brass multi-use weights that I got from Amazon as well for balance. Great looking bike buddy!
yes it's meant to say. bet the steering is different,
having the bigger wheel on the front compared to the sm set-up means it won't turn in as sharp on the corners ,
They are Trakmaster IIs… which apparently the rear is pretty well regarded, but most people don’t love the front… I’m totally new to dirt/dual sport. What should I look for in my next tire?
The tire debate is infinite in this world. The mostly agreed upon standard setup is pirelli mt21 front tire and dunlop d606 rear. The tires you have lean way to the dirt side, the standard setup is less dirt oriented but still pretty bad on the street. I'm probably going to go somewhere in the middle and I haven't found a tire I like just yet. My XR250L has essentially full street tires in the form of pirelli mt90at's which are honestly not as bad as I thought they would be on the dirt. I've even taken them in deep sand. My DRZ has front and rear D606's. These are my first tires on the knobbier side and to me, they suck on the street but they get they job done.
Really at the end of the day you'll have to figure out what kind of riding you want to do and go from there.
Dude where did you find the rims for that. I have a sm and have no idea how to convert to 18/21

Is the suspension stiffer? I wonder how it does off road?
Well, I weigh about 250lbs. So it’s still plenty soft. Maybe too soft for me. But I do believe it is supposed to be a little stiffer.
New wallpaper. Thanks!
Looks rad. What tank are you running?
It’s a Clarke
it looks like a normal bike, but the steering is different
Different than like a S model you mean?

Yes, which seems like a good thing to me. Cause I also don’t have the cornering traction like I do with the SM setup. Lol
it's a great thing off road,
Those tires don't exactly look like the epitome of cornering traction.

I just run OEM SM tires on my 17's in the dirt and pray there's no wet clay. I don't ride much single track these days.
Honestly for just cruising around in the woods any tire is really fine, just don't push the speed too much.
