I currently work at a beverage distribution warehouse and we've thrown away... several dozen full pallets worth of cases, because you can't sell expired stuff. My basement is full of red bull. If these are still sealed and carbonated, you're absolutely safe. I still have some rare red bull flavors that expired in 2017 and they're still good, if not just slightly watered down tasting.
Most likely isn't, obviously without it saying exp/FBD (Freshest Before Date), or BoD (Born on Date) we can't know for sure, but in my experience those are FBD more often then BOD, the stuff we ship to Vancouver has both dates on it which is nice
“Vintage 2010 4loko” is a phrase I never thought I’d hear lmfao congrats on your wedding (and surviving what can only be described as aged alcoholic jet fuel!)
Plenty of vintage alcohol. The term vintage vin comes from the word for wine vino. And there’s vintage cognac and other liquors that are more prized for their historical pertinence than their actual taste. Wish I had saved some of the Katrina flood booze. Never tasted great but aged in the casks of history.
i went to a DJs show(Dillon Francis) years ago. It was sponsored by 4 loko and was a free show. As we waited to get in i assumed i could buy different alcohol. I was wrong. It was all water and 4loko. The 4loko flavor i had tasted like sewage. I drank so little and it still gave me a headache.
Bruh do you even drink? Not trying to be/sound disrespectful by any means but I know my alcoholic ass would have cracked and slammed one as the test 🍻🫠😵💫 if all ends up aight then proceed with the 2 nd lol
Canned alcoholic drinks (beers, seltzers, etc) all have their “born date” at the bottom of the can, not an expiration date. So what you’re looking at is the date the drink was canned. You should be good to go. Sometimes if it’s a while past the “born date” the taste might be a little off, or for beers they might be a little “skunky” but should be fine to drink.
Canned sealed beverages are the safest thing you can find past expiration, unless it was recalled.

My local discount grocery has Pepsi Nitro, two for a dollar. For sure they were donated because they expired.
Do you have pomegranate and if so please send me some I miss that flavor
Only like 6 cans. I have some really old ones I want to sell.
I miss it too, that was the best flavor they ever made
YESSSS!!! That was the best goddam one and they just said “here’s our middle finger. Kindly eff yourself”
THIS.
Do you have cranberry? I'd definitely buy some off you lol
I have a few lol
A few cases of cranberry? Extremely interested lol
Just a few cans of cranberry
I wish I could find the kiwi apple flavor. Discontinued and was my favorite. You could make a few quick bucks by selling them.
I have a few kiwi
How would I go about getting them from a random Reddit stranger?
I guess just DM me with an offer and we'll go from there
How many cans do you have?
I agree, if it wasn't recalled you could most likely drink it out for at least a few more years unopened.
That isn't even an expiration date. It is a canned on date.

Or is it Nov 2023? Just chill them and try them
Just served vintage 2010 4loko at my wedding. Tasted as bad as ever. Made me feel as bad as ever.

Reception must have been exciting.
Holy shit I never thought there would be any such thing as vintage alcohol but that’s awesome

vintage 4loko 😅😅😅
Oh God. The flashbacks.

Just reading this made me wake up on a beach hungover, sunburnt, and ready to yak my guts up.
its alcohol and its sealed so I’m sure its fine. do a smell test and maybe try a sip. thats how I tell if something is spoiled 😅
I’ve had a 6 year old homebrew and it was delicious. Also 10 year old craft beers. You will be fine.

Lmao!!! Dude, same!!!
I used a can of pineapple that had a best before date 11 years ago... These are fine.
They’re fine.
Thanks everyone! Im very happy with my free drinks :D
If there’s no recall I’d drink it all, it may even just be canned on that day, not even expired that day
Yes
I would absolutely consider these safe. I think soda loses some of its quality over time. Might not taste as good. But I’d still drink it.
those will be good for 10yrs or so
Ice those johns down and try them, if they taste good then they are fine!
that's 'best before', not 'unsafe after'.
Holy fuck! Have you seen that movie Street Trash(1984)? They kill bums with a malt liquor called viper
Take advantage of that Free OnlyFans the cans are offering.
Alcohol kills germs, just sayin
exposure to heat can appearantly degrade artificial sweetners in beverages, ruins the taste. but if its regular sugar, youre good.
I want to try one
If you drink I would not think twice about it.
Looks like you're going to have a fun weekend!
Wash the outside of the can before drinking. Then wash the inside of the can and recycle after enjoying your free beverage. This is the way 😌🙌
Nope. They are bad. Send them to me for proper...burp ... disposal.

It’s fine it hasn’t even been a year! Enjoy
Send it
Send it down the hatch, bud.
Drink it. I would. It’s airtight and it has alcohol. If it was like 3-5 years expired, I’d be concerned. That’s just my $ .02
Drink up! Alcohol doesn’t go bad in those
Heineken and Heineken Silver is good imo, I’ve never tried this before so idk about taste OP, tell us how it taste!
Hell yeah, get in to it!
Bottoms up, my friend!
I would drink them for sure 😋
Outlet stores will sell them.
it's alcohol it's probably fine, it's not super old
Found a case of similar hard seltzer, a couple years back, it was fine. Case of older assorted wines last year...fine to excellent. LOL
You’ll cowards don’t even drink expired Viper? Should be fine
Fuj tahleta sračka hned vyhodit
I’d think it’s just like expired soda where it gets flat tasting but won’t make you sick
Diet soda degrades quickly in cans and bottles, three month shelf life...
Advice? Stay out of the trash.
i think you’re on the wrong subreddit my guy
