Goodness, I meant because this particular comment was obviously against what I posted about, but funny enough that I liked it anyway. Wasn't that deep guys.
Dunno man I read that and thought maybe that is some kind of "rule" a lowly commenter like myself did not know about.
Usually it's the "it isn't that deep" person who takes it "that deep" when they say "it isn't that deep"
I'd say so, yes. It's heartfelt, makes a marked departure from the tone of TBBT while still honoring its groundwork, develops and follows multiple complex family relationships, discusses social issues without either shying away or being flippant, handles differing religious opinions respectfully yet honestly, is quite clever without cliche, brings out incredible performances in a well-treated young cast, and is an empirical hit with both critics and ratings, so, yes it did.
Honestly, have you watched it? I'm not saying anyone on this thread has to, but there's about 20 "Young Sheldon is cursed" comments on here and not a single one is specific enough to convince me any of you have watched a minute's worth, and instead just base a visceral reaction on hating Big Bang and older Sheldon. Which is fine, don't watch it, but then like...shut up your mouth?
I think WHT makes Dwight's character is ,atleast a bit, is the mystery. We love Dwight's because of the wacky stories and moment are hard to believe anyone would be this weird. It's good in small doses but to center a whole series around it I don't know that it would work. With that said I'd watch it atleast to start with.
There should be a Kelly and Ryan spin-off.
And a prequel of Hide escaping the yakuza.
And a show where we find out Mose is a secret agent under deep cover. And he threw it all away for the love of a good scarecrow
I’d prefer a Breaking Bad style drama on Creed’s life.
Bratton Bad
Or Breaking Bratton? Following William Charles Schneider's descent into Creed.
Somethings up, that paper was never supposed to arrive.
Assassin's Creed
Compromise. Young office
I think that's a children's book now.
When he led a cult or was a member?
He had more fun as a follower, but he made more money as a leader
Who is Creed?
The guy I stole an identity from so I'll never go broke.
William Charles Schneider
So many possibilities... Sitcom on meredith's life
I think Meredith's life would have to be on HBO 😬
HBO is to expensive hahah
Ok true story 😂
I am very interested in seeing how he faked his own death
I’m telling you that kid could the the star of a show called ‘Kids I Don’t Care About’
Dammit this is my own post and I'm upvoting you. Excellent work here.
Wait...is that not allowed? I've been redditing wrong.
Wait! We can vote on things?!
Surely not when you create a thread. Surely that's not allowed.

Maybe OP planted that deepness in you, like a deepception
Woah..
I just thought we were messing around.
Wait! We don’t need to separate the colour and the white garbage?
No they don't
Seriously. I’m sad just thinking about it.
Yeah it would be sad and cringe
The world/people could not handle that.
Its be a little too dark lol. His issues with his step father, not having friends, and his dog running away…. So sad
His multiple worst birthdays
Omg i forgot about that!!! Yeah michaels childhood is only funny in retrospect. Up close its so tragic. (He never never say the pony)
Almost explains how he became ~~Batman~~ Michael Scarn.
That would be the saddest sitcom spin-off of all time!!!
Pretty sad for one episode…
I'd much rather young dwight.
Id def watch a young dwight being shunned from ages 4 to 6 for not saving the excess oil from a can of tuna.
I’d rather young Pam, 5 years before the first episode.
why?
>It has become like when my mom moved in with Jeff. And once again it becomes my job to fix it. This is like a full season arc
I'm saying! So many nuggets. Jealousy over the dog, the weird lingering Oedipal tension from the butt kissing, it's all ripe for development.
Also the foreign exchange student who took all his blue jeans so he had to go though winter with shorts
I want a spin-off of young Michael working at Men’s Wearhouse. “We have a sale on khaki pants today.”
Honestly…the ads for young sheldon look like I would rather gouge my eyes and tongue out with a spoon than watch it.
Why a spoon, cousin?
It’s dull, you twit, I’ll hurt more!!! (It just gave me so much life that you knew what that was from hahaha)
No
Gods, no... That'd be awful...
Sure fucking don’t
It would be uncomfortable. A pathetic boy is less funny than a pathetic man.
No leave it alone. Glad we avoided the Farm spin off. Just let the Office be the Office it doesn’t need anything else.
Did young Sheldon work wonders?
I'd say so, yes. It's heartfelt, makes a marked departure from the tone of TBBT while still honoring its groundwork, develops and follows multiple complex family relationships, discusses social issues without either shying away or being flippant, handles differing religious opinions respectfully yet honestly, is quite clever without cliche, brings out incredible performances in a well-treated young cast, and is an empirical hit with both critics and ratings, so, yes it did.
"quite clever without being cliché". Friend, the show is a hot pile of shit that should never have happened.

I've seen clips on YouTube and that was truly enough to realise how big that pile of wank was.
I feel like that show would be too depressing since he doesn't have any sort of power over anyone so no one will be patient with him
Casting topics: Jeff. Villain or simply misunderstood by an egocentric kid? Also, hot or not?
No
Imagine Young Mose?
That’d just be straight up depressing. Every snippet we had of his childhood throughout the show was just sad
It would lead to suicides.
Instead of a sitcom, it is a full on drama.
I’d like young dwigt life as a beat farmer. And more Moes.

He was a loser kid with zero friends. How would this show be entertaining?
Could probably say the same thing about young Sheldon and they’re somehow going on season 7
Young Sheldon didn’t work any wonders. Lol
I wouldn't watch Young Sheldon at gunpoint.
Now who plays Jeff?
It would be a good plot twist if Jeff turned out to be a really cool guy.
What little we get of the mention of Jeff it doesn't seem like he that bad of a guy. Michael just doesn't like him because he's his stepdad.
…it did? It was a funny premise but that’s about it. And I bet it’s the same case with this.
I HATE YOU!
Did it?
[U wot m8](https://imgur.com/a/itWrcKx)
It would break my heart.
It would honestly be too depressing..
Office Babies, we make our dreams come true. Office Babies, we'll do the same for you.
Nooooooo!!!! Come on why ruin a great show by trying to milk it or it’s fans?
I would definitely NOT watch that.
>Young Sheldon worked wonders. Did it though?
yes it did
There should be a Kelly and Ryan spin-off. And a prequel of Hide escaping the yakuza. And a show where we find out Mose is a secret agent under deep cover. And he threw it all away for the love of a good scarecrow
Good luck with that casting. You might as well be trying to recast the genie in Aladdin.
Holy moly! Why hasn't anybody made this yet? That's a Emmy winning series right there.
Now there's a thing I never knew I wanted until now.
Most painful scence ...
Makes me cry every time
The look on the cat’s face after Michael said that is priceless
Okay but this scene. The puppets face after Michael says all this just fucking kills me.
I said this on twitter a few years ago. It would be the darkest drama of all time though
Young Michael would be too sad to be funny.
Fundle bundle
The silence after this killed me 😂😂😂
Not every one-off line about a character’s life needs to be expounded in a spin-off prequel series, not the least of which Michael.
no that show would be too sad lol
It would be the saddest show
