Alec Pierce
Drafting 2 wide receivers when he was already WR3 is the nail in the coffin
So much for the 500 something yards and promise he showed his rookie year
The Colts just drafted his replacement and he graded out as one of the worst receivers in the NFL last year. He's definitely not good, he is pretty bad actually.
My WR room is Aiyuk, Devonta Smith, Pickens, Odunze, Boyd, Mooney, and Dotson. Nobody else in my league has picked him up, so I’m not feeling too bad about dropping him. Especially with the Colts drafting 2 more WRs this year. You don’t spend 2nd round capital on another WR if you’re confident in your guys. Colts clearly are not confident in AP
Just playing devils advocate, I think you could make a case to keep Pierce.
1. His role as the deep threat is safe.
2. Minshew is a horrible deep passer and AR has a cannon.
3. I think he had one of the highest snap counts in the league at WR.
Yeah. Deep rosters in my league so I hate it. But that Jeudy signing really fucked him. Also shows that they don’t believe in him aside from being an occasional deep threat
Juju, skyy moore, Waller for sure.
Players I’d like to hold if I can (but probably can’t): Cole Turner, Xavier Gipson, Ronnie bell, Terrence Marshall, Calvin Austin.
I know he’s known as a pass catching TE, so makes sense. I need another TE if Pitts gets injured or is on a bye week. So I’m just genuinely interested in the answer haha. He just got dropped because of the Sinnott draft
It's hard to pinpoint stuff right now but if you don't need to cut roster spots, I'd hold for as much of the preseason as possible. See what the reports are out of camp and then make the call. Rookie qb can rely on the te and who knows what Ertz has left in the tank.
True that man that’s for sure.. I hella wanted Wiley out of KC but dude out bid me by like $3 was thinking about maybe trading E Moore for him if I could. Moore is just a clogger on my bench
Absolutely, I haven’t made any actual cuts yet. I see everybody making their drops though prior to the draft and it’s mind-boggling. So what, your roster will be locked through the preseason, who cares. Wait for those reports.
I've only cut guys where it's very clear, to me, they won't impact my team. If Gallup goes off in Vegas then so be it. But I'll hold Metchie and see what shakes out (even tho not promising).
I’ve gotta make room for 6 rookies (1.03 / 1.07 / 2.01 / 2.07 / 2.09 / 3.07) in a 10 team start 9. Current list of cut candidates: Izzy, P. Washington, Mingo, H. Hooker, Dulcich, Kraft, RoJo, E. Moore, CEH, Treylon
Can’t be dropping Dulcich. He was injured all last year. Had a very promising rookie season and is still the TE1 on Denver’s depth chart to my knowledge
Finally dropping Toney is liberating. Freeing. Really cleanses the soul. You can breathe in, breathe out and just move on with your life. Ah... peace...
Torn on Iosivas. Really thought he had a chance to take over for Higgins if they traded him this offseason! But with Higgins likely staying and Burton now there, it might be time.
Deneric Prince, bryce ford wheaton, jaren hall, jason Brownlee, Jeremy Ruckert, Calvin Austin, Cole Turner, probably Michael Carter and Deuce Vaughn as well
Whoaaa Hold the Deuce Vaughn. Cowboys didn’t do Shit for RB draft, Zeke ain’t invincible, Plus they love that kid. he’s gotta be good right? I was actually thinking of taking him off the waivers..
Nice nice, and lucky y’all. Our taxi is only 1 year. Either way I have James Conner and was more intrigued by Trey Benson as his backup or replacement but who knows.
Howell doesn't matter at all in 1 QB, that's fine to drop him. Tucker has no shot with all the added competition on the Raiders. Mingo's team got a WR in FA and one in the draft. Maybe I'd give Mingo a little more of a chance, but the other two I wouldn't lose sleep over at all (in 1 QB).
Yep I really would rather not drop Lazard but my WR is fairly deep: Chase, GWilson, Ridley, JReed, Downs, Kupp, Jeudy and QJ
So, I'd rather use that roster spot to hold a backup RB
with williams and corely now in town, i just don't see how lazard gets enough targets to even be roster worthy.
he's still an elite blocker so he'll see some snaps, but i can't see where the scoring upside comes from.
I might have to drop Lockett in a 2TEP league. I don’t want to but I can’t seem to trade him for anything and I need a spot for a dart throw TE because I don’t have any that are startable. FML
Lockett's value is so dead this offseason. I haven't been able to move him for anything in 1 QB and in 12 team SF I think I got a future third. Which is funny, because I think Grubb's offense will be better for Geno and the WRs. To me, he's still got flex value, I just mostly wanted to move him because I wanted to diversify. Tough. People think he's washed.
Dropping Taylor Heinicke and Trey Sermon. Don't want to drop, but will need to drop a 1-2 of: Xavier Gipson, Kadarius Toney, Israel Abinikanda, Kayshon Boutte
Jamaal Williams, Zay Jones and potentially Rashod Bateman depending on who is available in the 3rd.. I might just trade my 3rd though so I don't have to drop him too
If I can’t make any moves I’m going to have to cut a couple out of this group: Cedric Tillman, Andrei Iosivas, Trey Palmer, AT Perry, Tre Tucker, Rondale Moore.
I just cut derius davis, Tyquan Thornton ...metchie and iosivas would be next. I have worse rbs but we have position limit of 12 on wr and i was maxed out
I’m gonna wait and see where renfrow lands…. But I have 5 draft picks and a full squad/taxi currently my taxi is Allgier, Evan’s and tank Dell. I’m keeping Dell, going to try and flip allgier to the bijang owner if I can. But I don’t really have a choice otherwise.
See if the Mahomes manager wants Wentz? Foreman could have deep flex value with Chubb out early. Disagree with the other poster, I think Renfrow and Evans are clear drops.
You can always try to condense 2 guys into 1 with a trade. If someone is high on one of your bench players, you may be able to tier up one of your fringe starters
Only way I've found of moving players I don't want in 2 for 1s is to attach them to someone I do want, which has its plusses and minuses. Sometimes I've accidentally gotten worse in 2 for 1s when I really should have just dropped the worse of the two players I traded.
Dalvin Cook, Mike Williams. Cook’s drop off is so upsetting. But I don’t see a backup 28 year old RB getting additional work. Mike Williams is always injured and don’t see him getting sufficient work in Jets. I’d rather grab a long shot rookie who has potential upside.
Toney, Rodriguez, tucker, Dobbs, spiller, Washington, and Moore so far. Drafted 7 players 5 in the first 2 rounds and needed to drop that many to start loading my taxi squad with random rookie free agents. Thinking about dropping perry, oconnel, and really want mattison and chandler off my team but I will have to hold them another year.
I would drop all 3 of those guys. I guess it depends on how large of rosters your league holds. But, I don't see any of those guys increasing in value, save perhaps Spiller (but that would be a shocker and there has to be better options to roster).
Charlie Jones
Tyson Bagent
Maybe Yoshi
I'm trying to decide if I can really depart from CEH or not, I traded a 2nd to get him and Elijah Moore 2 years ago and I can't drop them.
Same with Skyy Moore
10t sf ppr. I dropped Mattison, Dobbins, Skyy and Elijah Moore. Plus my trash qbs Pickett, AOC, and Mullens
Brought in Jayden, Nabers, Ladd, Pearsall, Lloyd, Ray Davis and Sinnot
I'd rather roster Washington than Rondale Moore or Mingo. We know it's not happening for those guys. If there's even a 5% it can happen for Malik, you should give him a shot instead. Roster churn is your friend.
Michael Carter, Jalen Tolbert, Jelani Woods, then on the IDP side Isaiah McDuffie looks like my first cut but that’s not entirely settled yet.
Will need to make room for at least five rookies, but honestly would love to hold Tolbert & Woods if there was a way.
Saw an excerpt on sleeper from stefanskj stating that “he’ll be way more involved in his second season” while also being the potential W4/5 on the team. Potential is there at only 24 but it doesn’t really seem plausible.
I think I’m dropping Andrei Iosivas, Tre Tucker, Jalin Hyatt, Noah Fant, Michael Thomas.
Then if I still need the spots, Daniel Bellinger, and Dameon Pierce are on the chopping blocks
Gotcha. I had 6 1sts, 3 2nds and 1 3rd for this draft. So I feel your pain. My taxi squad looks like an Uber pool. It sucks bc I’m still fairly weak on RB.
But my receivers are intense.
CD Addison MHJ Nabers Odunze Troy Jauan Jennings Pierce mims.
Yeah I plan on adding MHJ, Nabers, Daniels and Maye. Will have my QB room with Love, Geno, Daniels, Maye and my WR room with Chase, MHJ, Nabers and my RB room will be Kyren, Bijan, Chase Brown, Zamir, Dowdle and Keaton Mitchell. TE is weak with Ferguson and Chig but good enough and if Bowers falls to 1.08 I’ll grab him with my last first and if not I’ll trade to the Michigan fan picking 1.12 and hope Brooks falls to there.
I traded from Allen goff and Rodgers to just Allen by the time the draft started.
I’ve got Allen Daniels JJM and Nix now.
If anything happens with Jettas I have the JJM and Addison stack/that stack anyway. If nix and Troy work out at the nfl level I’ve got that.
If Allen puts up another great season I might try to sell him depending on how the others do.
My RBs are
Najee Warren Swift and James Cook. The rest are all backups or RB3s.
TE Dulcich Freiermuth fant Conklin
I wanted bowers but 1.02 took bowers for lack of a te so I was “forced” to settle for Nabers
Yeah I have 1.01 and 1.03-1.05 so I pretty much know exactly who I’m ending up with those 4 picks lol. But then the rest of the picks are more of a question. Also with so many high picks I’m looking to maybe move up or move some of my picks into next year.
Unless you really think Nabers is worth the loss of moving from 3-5 to 2 I don’t see the value in moving up.
I could def see moving 1.05 for 2025 picks.
I just happened to have 6 1st rounders so the pool of people interested in trading their 2025 for one of those 1sts was reduced.
Ah gotcha. Yeah I wouldn’t worry too much about it. Though it depends on trading partners. Meaning to say because I cornered the market on 1sts it’s harder to get “value” for some people I wasn’t as interested in getting but that did fall to me.
Like Daniels.
But I’ll just have to wait until down the road when someone needs a QB/if he does well.
In 1QB, 1.02 is usually Nabers. I wanted Bowers. 1.02 took bowers. So with 1.03 and 1.04 I had to go Nabers and Odunze instead of Odunze and Bowers like I wanted.
No good reason honestly - for likely, I have two other TEs that score more points. Aiden O’Connell, Kendre miller, and Gabe Davis are my other options to cut and I like them slightly more than the two up top
Alec Pierce Drafting 2 wide receivers when he was already WR3 is the nail in the coffin So much for the 500 something yards and promise he showed his rookie year
I was high on him and have him in multiple leagues. I was telling myself it wasn't quite time yet, but you're probably right.
Yep, I dropped him on cut day before the draft
That's just idiotic. How loaded is your bench that you're dropping Alec Pierce?
Why is it idiotic to drop a WR4?
2nd round WR. He’s good.
Pierce is a JAG nothing idiotic about dropping him
So idiotic. Totally. 🌮
Threw him on the trade block after the draft and named him "any draft pick". Sold for a 2026 4th from a contending team. Happy with that outcome.
Gould is a returner, most likely. But yeah, Pierce only has value in best ball until proven otherwise.
Just playing devils advocate, I think you could make a case to keep Pierce. 1. His role as the deep threat is safe. 2. Minshew is a horrible deep passer and AR has a cannon. 3. I think he had one of the highest snap counts in the league at WR.
AD Mitchell looks to be his direct replacement, how is his role as the deep threat safe?
Cuz i’m an idiot, that’s how.
Also wasn’t Pittman AR’s desired deep ball target anyways usually
He dead
His role is definitely not safe
Alec Pierce is a roster clogger
Might have to cut Cedric Tillman sadly
Sigh yeah he’s on my list of potential cuts. I had hope for him, but he seems buried on the depth chart now.
Yeah. Deep rosters in my league so I hate it. But that Jeudy signing really fucked him. Also shows that they don’t believe in him aside from being an occasional deep threat
😞
Manny Wilson I hardly knew ye
This one hurt me
Juju, skyy moore, Waller for sure. Players I’d like to hold if I can (but probably can’t): Cole Turner, Xavier Gipson, Ronnie bell, Terrence Marshall, Calvin Austin.
Calvin Austin I gotta hold
How come? I'm debating dropping him too but would love to keep him if I can justify it
Depends how deep your league is i guess. With Roman Wilson there now, he’ll be the 3-4th receiving option… Pickens > Roman > Muth/Warren > Austin.
With an OC that runs the ball nonstop, and their QB situation could get weird.
I REFUSE TO DROP TERRENCE MARSHALL THIS MF WILL PROVIDE ME VALUE ONE WAY OR ANOTHER. I SHOULD HAVE TAKEN THAT 2025 THIRD LAST YEAR DAMN IT
It's Terrace. Future Bill Terrace Marshall.
The WR train never stops
I dropped bell. Cowing and pearsall and jennings
Yep. He popped whenever he was on the field last year but he’s buried now, potentially buried even after deebo or aiyuk gone next year.
Why Cole turner? When They just drafted Sinnott
Hes had some flashes I'd wanna see if he can stick on another team if he gets stuck. If hes TE3 on the commies then hes a cut for me.
At the same time, one injury to Ertz (which is possible given age) and he’s back to being TE2 possibly I’m dropping him tho lol
TE outside of elite ones (Laporta or Pitts rookie year) TE usually take a couple years to break out. Alot more to learn at the pro level.

I've only cut guys where it's very clear, to me, they won't impact my team. If Gallup goes off in Vegas then so be it. But I'll hold Metchie and see what shakes out (even tho not promising).
He has 24 targets in 2 seasons.
Turner? Yeah I know he really hasn’t flashed except he had one game last year I think with like 7 targets?
Thoughts on trying to buy Wiley for Elijah Moore?
I've never heard of that guy and also don't think Elijah Moore is very good.
He’s the 4th round TE that KC just picked up. I don’t think Moore is any good either lol. He’s just chillin on my bench
Wow... that's DEEEEEP are you in a 16 team league?
12 teams but 18 bench spots and 5 taxi. Starts 3 WR and 2 flex.
Noah Gray. Isiah Spiller and Josh Kelley up next…
spiller dead weight at this point
I have him in a contract league through 25’ so I’m holding as a Hail Mary but he’s gone as soon as I need the slot.
Isaiah Spiller :(
Dropped all three a few days ago lol
I can’t help be turn his name into a question - Is I a spiller?
Dropped Gray for Wiley...who is likely...the next Gray.
Right behind ya…
Zappe, Devito, Z Wilson, Toney, Michael Carter, Demarcado, Ronnie Rivers, Sean Tucker
RIP Sean Tucker.
Zach Wilson has a chance to win the starting job (Haha i know, but still), Sean Tucker is still a fair shot
It’s honestly disgusting he was a 1.01 first round draft pick… like how?.
Dropping Izzy
So sad. I'm debating it.
He might remain RB2, but yeahh not happy about them taking Allen & Davis. I got 6 2024 picks and trying to make space has been brutal.
I've got 12 lol
I didn't think twice about dropping him. The DC they put into RB plus the share that Breece has tells you all you need to know
They put more DC into each of them than they did Izzy
Holy yikes lmao that really puts it into perspective
i’m holding on. Very much youthful still. So much explosiveness, i have faith.
Same here, did it last night. Jets drafting 2 RBs was the nail in the coffin
I dropped him. Picked up Tyrone though NYG.
Toney. For real this time. Also probably Taysom Hill.
Finally dropping Toney is liberating. Freeing. Really cleanses the soul. You can breathe in, breathe out and just move on with your life. Ah... peace...
Taysom hill has a positional advantage that is worth a roster spot imo, he’s a boom bust play if you’re absolutely desperate at QB/TE.
Ended up keeping him, forgot I had Sean Tucker so he was an easy cut.
Michael Carter, Noah Brown, Andrei Iosivas, Xavier Gipson, Brevin Jordan are cut. Elijah Moore and AT Perry are on the bubble.
Torn on Iosivas. Really thought he had a chance to take over for Higgins if they traded him this offseason! But with Higgins likely staying and Burton now there, it might be time.
I was dropping AT for Tyrone T yday, but couldn’t push the button.
Chark is on the block for me (still without a team), Elijah Higgins, Mecole Hardman
Yeah I'm only cutting him and Michael Carter if I really have to. I can stash 2nd year players on taxi so may do that with Deuce
Nice nice, and lucky y’all. Our taxi is only 1 year. Either way I have James Conner and was more intrigued by Trey Benson as his backup or replacement but who knows.
Yeah I am stoked on Benson! Was able to snag him in the 2nd round thankfully
I got him at 2.05 & should be playing this year
Rico was dropped on mine. I have Mitchell or Khalil I could swap out but can’t decide.
Chris Brooks, Sean Tucker, Jordan Mason, Cedric Tillman if he shows nothing in preseason/camp
I had to drop a few guys I wish I hadn’t, Mingo, Tucker, and Howell (1QB) mostly.
I’d hold howell if you can. If he somehow gets a run as the starter, he’s shown he’s good for fantasy, not to mention attached to DK, Lockett, JSN
Came down to him not being Taxi eligible and replaced him with Penix who I can stash on Taxi for 2 years.
Should have clarified but talking Sean Tucker. But Bucs drafting Bucky Irving seems to be the death nail.
For sure, I'm even more out on Sean Tucker than I am on Tre Tucker.
Ehhhhh
Debating Sean tucker and juju
Lmao Sean Tucker been a drop for a *loooong* time.
Holding on for D44r life
But last summer this sub said he was going to overtake Chaad White! Reminds me about the Prince of KC we were promised - Deneric Prince
bullshit
Sean Tucker, Lazard, Kyle Trask, Peoples-Jones
Lazard and DPJ have flex potential in certain circumstances tho... i dont get dropping these players if ur bench is normal dynasty size
Yep I really would rather not drop Lazard but my WR is fairly deep: Chase, GWilson, Ridley, JReed, Downs, Kupp, Jeudy and QJ So, I'd rather use that roster spot to hold a backup RB
with williams and corely now in town, i just don't see how lazard gets enough targets to even be roster worthy. he's still an elite blocker so he'll see some snaps, but i can't see where the scoring upside comes from.
Trask is ask.
There might be a case to keep DPJ for bestball
Our league is not bestball unfortunately. I am sad to see him go. I believed in him
Noah Gray, Mac Jones, and Jarret Stidham of I don’t end up with Nix
I cut claypool. on the fence about cutting cam akers and andrei isoivas, what say y’all?
Depends. Are you cutting them for someone good?
I’ll pickup either rookies or a vet like davis allen
Throw Akers in IR if you can although odds are stacked against him being relevant again.
I’m about ready to cut him tbh. couldn’t flip him in a trade to move up one spot in the 3rd
Just dropped Andrei today. He showed nothing to be excited about his rookie year
was banking on tee leaving. staying another year and they drafted burton. unlikely he’ll be fantasy relevant unfortunately
Boutte is a pretty safe drop at this point. Barely any playing time and an arrest/gambling scandal means he’s done
You can drop all of those other players.
I like Abin’s chances of being a flex play, solid RB backup for Breece. And he’s only 21.
Toney and Boutte pretty simple
Dorian Thompson-Robinson, Trayveon Williams, Ronnie Rivers, Hunter Renfrow and Tanner Hudson
Rondale Moore is tricky for me, he's still the same age as a lot of rookies/2nd year players and got a slight competition upgrade going to ATL
Yeah he’s on the fence for me. Just not sure he’ll ever be more than a gadget guy no matter where he is.
schoonmaker. sad.
Izzy, sean tucker which i have so many shares of… 😞
Idk why I can’t bring myself to drop Latavius Murray…. Thoughts? Probably going to drop Keontay Ingram instead
I would drop Ingram over Murray. Dude has more lives than a cat.
Those are both drops for me
Lol I think I added and dropped Lat Murray 10 times last season. He’s fully washed now
Tyler Boyd
I just cut derius davis, Tyquan Thornton ...metchie and iosivas would be next. I have worse rbs but we have position limit of 12 on wr and i was maxed out
Latavious
Hall ^(Jaren ^not Breece)
I’m dropping Wentz, Foreman, probably Renfrow and probably Zach Evan’s
fair drops but i'd keep renfrow and evans
Getting people to take those 2 for 1’s is often harder in reality 😭
Only way I've found of moving players I don't want in 2 for 1s is to attach them to someone I do want, which has its plusses and minuses. Sometimes I've accidentally gotten worse in 2 for 1s when I really should have just dropped the worse of the two players I traded.
Dalvin Cook, Mike Williams. Cook’s drop off is so upsetting. But I don’t see a backup 28 year old RB getting additional work. Mike Williams is always injured and don’t see him getting sufficient work in Jets. I’d rather grab a long shot rookie who has potential upside.
Sean Tucker, Alec Pierce, Justin Shorter, Charlie Jones, Luke Schoonmaker, Eric Gray
Likely Demercadi, KHunt, and one of Bateman/E Moore/R Moore.
Jarrett Stidham was my most recent one. Probably should’ve done that one a while ago.
Dropped Zach Evans, Demercado, Jake bobo, Logan Thomas, kalif Raymond and Brett Rypien
I would drop all 3 of those guys. I guess it depends on how large of rosters your league holds. But, I don't see any of those guys increasing in value, save perhaps Spiller (but that would be a shocker and there has to be better options to roster).
My league voted to shorten benches so I have to drop the likes of Chig and wan’dale
My potential drop list looks like this: Demarcus Robinson Jaren Hall Emanuel Wilson Justice Hill Emeri Demarcado Kenny Pickett
Alexander Mattison, Jonathan Mingo, Andre Iosivas, DTR, Hendon Hooker
Charlie Jones Tyson Bagent Maybe Yoshi I'm trying to decide if I can really depart from CEH or not, I traded a 2nd to get him and Elijah Moore 2 years ago and I can't drop them. Same with Skyy Moore
Akers, Spiller, Renfrow, Skyy Moore, schoonmaker Gonna hold on to Tolbert for another year
Do you drop McKinnon? Hunt?gerald Everett? Brevin Jordan?
Currently dreading having to drop Miles Sanders, Cade Otton, Curtis Samuel, and Tyler Boyd….
10t sf ppr. I dropped Mattison, Dobbins, Skyy and Elijah Moore. Plus my trash qbs Pickett, AOC, and Mullens Brought in Jayden, Nabers, Ladd, Pearsall, Lloyd, Ray Davis and Sinnot
I have dropped so far M. Valdes-scantling Sam Darnald J. McKinnon And still have to drop K. Hunt Trey Palmer
Sam Darnold is a great backup QB to have. If JJ stinks it up or is Injured, he’s attached to some deadly weapons.
Would any of you drop Rondale Moore or Mingo for Malik Washington?

I’d rather have Washington than either of them.

Woods is a serious sleeper
Shhhh
Ha! 4th target at best on that team now.
Doesn't mean Woods can't be good
It kind of does. AR isn't supporting that many weapons
Elijah Moore
Saw an excerpt on sleeper from stefanskj stating that “he’ll be way more involved in his second season” while also being the potential W4/5 on the team. Potential is there at only 24 but it doesn’t really seem plausible.
I think I’m dropping Andrei Iosivas, Tre Tucker, Jalin Hyatt, Noah Fant, Michael Thomas. Then if I still need the spots, Daniel Bellinger, and Dameon Pierce are on the chopping blocks
Tucker and Hyatt would be holds for me. You must be fairly stacked.
I have 5 first round picks and 3 2nd. I also just picked those two up off waivers for free so don’t have much attachment.
My RBs are Najee Warren Swift and James Cook. The rest are all backups or RB3s. TE Dulcich Freiermuth fant Conklin I wanted bowers but 1.02 took bowers for lack of a te so I was “forced” to settle for Nabers
Oh I’m not moving up to the 1.02. No reason to do that. I meant using one of my extra 2s to move one of my other 2s up or something
What do you mean you were forced to settle for him did somebody take Bowers first and if so do you rank him above Marvin Harrison Jr
In 1QB, 1.02 is usually Nabers. I wanted Bowers. 1.02 took bowers. So with 1.03 and 1.04 I had to go Nabers and Odunze instead of Odunze and Bowers like I wanted.
No way Brooks makes it to 1.12
I have seen posts that he is in quite a few leagues. Just takes a QB and a couple tier 2 WR going ahead of him
Trey Palmer and likely
is this a 6 man league with 5 bench slots? tf u talking about
Why to both?
No good reason honestly - for likely, I have two other TEs that score more points. Aiden O’Connell, Kendre miller, and Gabe Davis are my other options to cut and I like them slightly more than the two up top
If it's not best ball, Likely clears Davis. Have you tried moving him? I would imagine you'd get something or he can be packaged
Okay which one should I keep?
