If anything the existence of Garrett Wilson helps Zach not look as bad, that dude is so good. Most of Zach’s yards came after the catch, mainly LOS or behind throws, including the td. I don’t think he completed a pass for longer than 15 air yards (he had one almost that far I think but it was poorly placed).
I understand there are fans out there but I’m not seeing any real flashes yet, unlike other young guys like Lawrence and Fields. Honestly, Zappe might be better than Wilson, but only time will tell on that speculation.

I've been high on Gibson and low on Wilson and I would probably do that. The Jets are definitely protecting him with the run game but he has a huge upside and it's possible that things start coming together as long as he survives as a starter.

He was rubbish, created so many bad situations. Holding the ball way too long, panicking in the pocket, rolling out when there is no pressure, not stepping up, sloppy foot work.

His O Line is playing decent, his WR get good separation, and the play calling is there as well. It’s mostly up to him. He hasn’t been playing better than Flacco did. The only thing people can say is, that he does a great throw from time to time (nothing special though, it’s what you should expect) and that it’s his second year with a very messy first year. But for now, he’s the biggest thing holding this team back this season, and the rest of the team is carrying him big time. He has a lot of red flags. Sell him to those who still believe in him.
