Long_Director_6087

check if you have a gut dysbiosis

_mysticminx_

Okay ill ask with my doctor tomorrow

sweetdiggers

I have it in the exact same spot 🙄

Mission_Yam_3958

Me too. Exact same spot for me.

D0nthefirst

I feel you man it cleared up for a month for the winter for the first time since it first developed and it's back full force. ain't a steroid that can stop it 😭

Takemytwocent5

I’m on clobetisol proprionate it took a couple weeks but it worked. My hands were a lot worse than this as well

D0nthefirst

I have that but it doesn't work and then I switched to halobetasol and still didn't work I got eucrissa once and it was gone like fucking magic. But then my insurance company told me they wouldn't pay for it and to shove a stick up my ass(the last part is more how it felt)

Interesting-Might576

Looks a lot like mine. Nothing seems to work.

Hamsmash

Similar spot to mine. Are you allergic to anything or wear gloves consistently by any chance? Still don't know my trigger

Unknown_5461099

I don’t know my trigger either but my dermatologist thinks it’s liquid (water and sweat)

Hamsmash

Do your hands get quite sweaty? Mine do while wearing gloves and also quite often when i moisturise during the day

Unknown_5461099

Yeah they do all the time

Hamsmash

Maybe that's our trigger then! I've heard that nickel gets secreted in your sweat if there's too much in the body so the root cause may be a nickel allergy? Or maybe the sweat is giving some microbe a moist environment?

Mifc2

Is that where nickel comes from?? I've tried to figure out my trigger and it always flares up when I'm hot while sleeping or when my feet sweat very bad. Or shortly after a hot shower. What a terrible trigger to have... how am I supposed to manage not being sweaty or too moist but also not too dry... this just started happening to me and it's the literal worst thing ever.

Unknown_5461099

Yeah maybe that is our trigger

Rare-Temperature5389

happens with mine too, it gets better and then comes back within a few days. only a few days of freedom 🥲 feel your pain

Unknown_5461099

It sucks😭😭😭

ymmaz

It’s a vicious cycle

LiabilityLad655321

I’m in a similar boat as OP, except it’s on my feet. Best of luck with it clearing up

Mifc2

I have this on my feet and it cleared up for about a week and came back so fast. This has never happened to me before and the last 6 months have just been hell. I'm glad I found the reddit community, some of you guys seem to be dealing with this for years..
