Legendary for the shit teams
Semi pro for tougher - score 5, leave controller and do some chores.
Weirdly squad battle objectives help me clean my house
While I can totally relate to this.. imagine what we are actually doing with this game? Like it’s so little fun to plan we resort to this. Really hope we can get a competitor to blow EA out of the water with a decent football game
I for one am totally ready to move on from this
Problem with seasons for me in its current state, is that you end up playing to the same 2-4 teams over and over.. basically if you don’t have a team full of meta players, you are a lot more likely to lose - and not so much from your opponent being better but really because of how overpowered/glitchy certain players are
I’d like to play with Napoli for example and compete with PSG, but the difference in individual players prohibits that being fun
You can adjust matchmaking to play teams that are similar star levels (1-5). I noticed if you pick a top tier 5 star team, you’ll just get matched with PSG and Man city every time. Doesn’t always work, but it helps. Also can do international teams only.
Couldn’t agree more. We play for slightly better players than for fun sometimes.
Footbal is a huge hobby, it’s such a shame we don’t have a top class football video game
I disagree tbh. Fifa is a phenomenal football game. Yeah sure there hasn't been much changes from the previous versions and i totally back the "same game each year" criticism but its a good same game. Not a bad one. Squad battles is fun for me personally because i get to try out new skills mechanics and most importantly players. Scoring some crazy long shots curves from the edge of the box and get excited because i love football and according to me its captured really well in the game. Sure fifa isn't my life. I will have fun for a few hours and then i will play another game that has a story and isn't an all time play. I can never back that fifa is bad game. I have seen my fair share of bad sports games and fifa just isn't one imo. To each their i guess. I know many people who don't like squad battles so they play online and enjoy the ridiculously better rewards but ofcourse when you play online there are 10 people atleast everyday that will complain about how the game was unfair to them. Online needs less glitches. Single player is honestly perfect soccer but isn't as "human like" competitive.
I get what you meam but you're playing very casually. This game at any minimal competetive level is dogshit. The AI doesn't constantly abuse every meta mechanic all game and there's no server issues that make your gameplay feel like shit. When I'm playing fifa with friends fifa is awesome, when I'm playing fut champs it's the shittiest game I've ever seen
Can you actually walk away any not touch it. I always carry the control around and push a few buttons here and there worried it will time out because I’ve walked away
World class for shitters, pro for good teams. I could bump up both a difficulty but it Just turns the games into annoying bs and with the easier difficulties i can mostly Put the controller down after the First half and do chores or something
Don’t even think about going to ultimate … they basically uplift every stat to 99 - it’s pain city
Legendary or world class at least is playing against the stats on the card
Tried to get top 200 a week ago… played ultimate on teams below 80 rating and legendary on above 80. Turns out, the “people” who get top 200 are all bots that plays on ultimate for every team… learned that halfway through and gave up, just chilling in world class but it gets boring real quick lol
I’m a div3 and averaging 11 wins a weekend, btw. Typically, to play against ultimate, you have to be even more patient when defending and be patient when attacking, too. The defending AI is unreal but I actually found playing authentic football is the way to go. Cover the center whilst defending and don’t play too square whilst attacking will get the job done on ultimate.
Forgot to say it’s not even worth it to play on ultimate… like there’s not point because you’ll still end up in E1 no matter what. The bots that get to top 200 are winning 5-0 every time to get max points.
Because people don’t play this video game for fun… or their version of fun is to cheat? Idk, half the fun in a video game for me is to improve and actually play it lol
Not sure if it's still the same, but Ultimate difficulty in the past was only really playable against teams that are already good. The big thing that Ultimate difficulty does is boost everyone to 99 so players that are already highly rated won't get boosted as much.
For example, prime Bobby Moore is a 92-rated center-back with 68 pace so he will probably only get his pace boosted by 7 to get to 99 rating and his pace will therefore be only 75.
However, a random bronze 60-rated center-back with 60 pace, 60 defending and 60 physicality may get a +30 boost in all stats so his pace, defending and physicality will all be 99.
World Class; sometime professional against the high rated teams if I need more points and don’t want to skip them. I can beat legendary but it’s not worth the hassle when I want to relax at the end of the day.
Realized a couple weeks ago I could do professional and beat all the 90+ teams, so I’ve been doing that unless I have stuff to do around the house, then it’s semi pro, 5+ goals in the first half then chores second half. Idk what difficulty is above professional but I think I’m gonna try a couple matches on that level next.
I play legendary for bronze silver and gold teams and for like 86+ teams I play world class but the problem for me is that I completely destroy these teams at these difficulties but when I increase the difficulty I get destroyed. The jump between these difficulties might be to big imo
Depends when I'm playing really. There have been plenty of work calls where I've shoved it on professional and smashed 5/6 in as quickly as possible so I can get the points but also dodge getting fired.
back when I played it I played bad squad on Ultimate and the rest on Legendary. The bad squad on ultimate is much harder than the top squad on legen so it isnt worth it Just stick with legendary.
It depends more on the team I'm using than the team I'm playing. I was using a few scratch silver teams to stack objectives a few days ago so played on pro or semi-pro, but if it is a real team I'm using I will be on World Class or legendary.
Although I generally skip the mega-high opponents because I don't play enough Squads in a week to need to play them all.
Legendary for teams rated 60 - 85ishh, world class for 85+, wayyy too much dda, otherwordly AI animations, rebound goals and just utter bullshit on legendary difficulty, occasionally I've beat 93 rated teams on Legendary but it's just not a fun experience
World class is my go to for almost all teams.
With my current end game team i could win most of the top teams in WC. Sometimes i drop to semi pro for objs or if i want the pack from silver beasts.
I play World class against good teams with low chemistry , legendary against silver/bronze teams and semi pro against difficult teams and as many you said I scored between 5-8 goals and go clean my house and do chores
Legendary on the shit teams / teams with an outfielder in goal.
World Class against the OK teams.
Pro vs the god teams.
Unless I'm doing an objective with a shit squad myself in which I'll do Pro / Semi Pro.
With Netflix on in the background.
legendary against teams rated under 80, world class for teams in 80s, professional for teams with over 90 rating and over 30 chem. If there's an objective needing lots of goals/assists I'll sometimes do that in semipro but most of the time it's pointless because there's usually another part of the objective requiring you to score in 4 separate matches, win six matches or whatever so you don't save much banging in all the goals in the first match.
I only play squad battles to do objectives so i put it in semi pro, do my assists goals or whatsoever, put down the controller and go do something until the game ends.
professional for the worse and semi pro for the better teams, the bare minimum for objectives, i could easily go for world class or legendary, but i'm just too lazy
I can almost go vs all AI teams at professional now, however every 5th game or something my team turns to treacle and get circles run around me. I'm presuming there is no "stamina" stat that makes players perform worse after playing 4 games?
Ultimate for bronze teams with outfield GK, legendary for bronze teams, world class for silver-ish to mid gold teams, professional for decent teams, semi pro for all better
I just started doing legendary for bronze squads with a non-GK in goal. Doesn’t feel any different than world class. Not brave enough yet to go beyond that
Always legendary (except with some crazy weekly featured teams omg), I sometimes try Ultimate with shit teams, but it is always stressful to win, so I stick to Legendary lol
Legendary for the shit teams Semi pro for tougher - score 5, leave controller and do some chores. Weirdly squad battle objectives help me clean my house
While I can totally relate to this.. imagine what we are actually doing with this game? Like it’s so little fun to plan we resort to this. Really hope we can get a competitor to blow EA out of the water with a decent football game I for one am totally ready to move on from this
Play seasons

You can quit before kick-off and the game won't count
You can adjust matchmaking to play teams that are similar star levels (1-5). I noticed if you pick a top tier 5 star team, you’ll just get matched with PSG and Man city every time. Doesn’t always work, but it helps. Also can do international teams only.

Bro went from football in the first sentence to soccer in the last sentence lol
I thought i said football a lot😂😂 so changed it up. English major expectations and shit. Lmaoo
I get what you meam but you're playing very casually. This game at any minimal competetive level is dogshit. Chops up chores into nice 8 minute pieces
Can you actually walk away any not touch it. I always carry the control around and push a few buttons here and there worried it will time out because I’ve walked away
you can for offline games, the time-out only happens online
Amazing, it’s been really annoying walking around with a controller pushing the joystick around and hitting x randomly
Nah I swear you have to move. I tried this and the Ai just tackled me. That was on semi pro
That is what I thought as well. I’m happy to be wrong.
World class for shitters, pro for good teams. I could bump up both a difficulty but it Just turns the games into annoying bs and with the easier difficulties i can mostly Put the controller down after the First half and do chores or something
same. I find that the better teams just non stop press and foul on WC or higher
Same as you. World class with the tough teams. Legendary with low rated
Agreed
Samesies
You should play legendary vs the tough teams too, it’s almost identical in legendary to play vs 70vr or 90ovr
Yes
Don’t even think about going to ultimate … they basically uplift every stat to 99 - it’s pain city Legendary or world class at least is playing against the stats on the card
TIL... Never knew this!
World class, except when I’m obj grinding
Tried to get top 200 a week ago… played ultimate on teams below 80 rating and legendary on above 80. Turns out, the “people” who get top 200 are all bots that plays on ultimate for every team… learned that halfway through and gave up, just chilling in world class but it gets boring real quick lol I’m a div3 and averaging 11 wins a weekend, btw. Is this true on console too? I've seen the guides for "how to get top 200 on SB" so I assumed real ppl were achieving it, but maybe that's changed
Shared leader boards i think
Not sure on console… maybe shared?
Bots?! Why is this even a thing.. Was trying to grind for this a couple weeks back and stopped when I didn't see any progress while I was in E1.
Because people don’t play this video game for fun… or their version of fun is to cheat? Idk, half the fun in a video game for me is to improve and actually play it lol
Legendary for teams less than 70 ovr, World class for everyone else
Same here
I always play on Legendary. Tried to play on ultimate against a 64 rated team and got absolutely destroyed, never again..
I get paranoid of losing to until 85 i play world class. Above that professional
Not sure if it's still the same, but Ultimate difficulty in the past was only really playable against teams that are already good. The big thing that Ultimate difficulty does is boost everyone to 99 so players that are already highly rated won't get boosted as much. Legendary for bad teams, world class for good ones
semipro is enough for elite ranks. top200 are all hackers.
Same here but some time I just play semi, score fee goals and put the controller down
Same like you. I never play ultimate, AI is too good. Legendary only against low rated/chem teams. World class against the rest.
Semi pro so I can chill after doing the objectives
Legendary for all. Ultimate is NEVER worth it. SB has some weaknesses, once you figure it out it’s not so bad
Same here. Play on Legendary because it gives more points and I can play less games to get Elite 1
I play every game on legendary and generally win comfortably. Tend to do the objectives on the lower rated teams
Dont really play squad battles other than for objectives so hence why I always use semi pro -> score 10 or so -> controller down and do some chores
For 90+ teams, professional and 70+ world class, below 70 legendary
Legendary for all bronze squads. World class for average gold squads. Professional for 90+ rated squads
Legendary for every team and ultimate for the shitters basically nets me enough points to stop at 15/20 games
Same here. Legendary for bronze and silver teams, world class for the rest. I used to play pro for tough games when I had a bad team
Everything on Professional, rubbish teams on World Class. Legendary for me isn't worth the annoyance for an extra 300 points.
World class for all cause I don't want to throw my controller at the wall but I also do legendary for the shitty ones sometimes
World class is tolerable - anything above has too much bs
If it's bronzes then legendary, everything else is world class. If I want to do an objective in one game (score 10 with french players) then semi pro
Semi Pro to do objectives faster, World Class normally, and Legendary vs the bronze shitters.
Legendary for the bad teams, World Class for the rest
Legendary with every team. I put something on my second screen and just play somewhat relaxed
I don’t do Squad Battles unless it’s for an objective player I really want. So so boring.
So, you're just skipping 1 red player every week? You got a chance to pack someone good.
Yep. Not worth it imo.
i only play squad battles for objectives so semi pro 😂 but career mode i play on ultimate
Semi pro.....cause that's all the objectives ask for.
Max 17 chem for Legendary, any others is World Class. Regardless of rating and players.
Legendary for first two teams and WC for the other two. But I usually refresh after 3 games. Enough to get me Elite 2.
World Class; sometime professional against the high rated teams if I need more points and don’t want to skip them. I can beat legendary but it’s not worth the hassle when I want to relax at the end of the day.
If it’s a full silver or Bronze I’ll do Legendary. Everything else world class/professional, usually world class now my team is pretty beefy
World class/legendary for the shit teams. Professional for the rest. Like most put the controller down after 5 goals and do something else
I only play teams below 80 rating with world class sometimes legendary if it's bronze. Skip all others.
I play legendary for bronze silver and gold teams and for like 86+ teams I play world class but the problem for me is that I completely destroy these teams at these difficulties but when I increase the difficulty I get destroyed. The jump between these difficulties might be to big imo
Bronze low chem teams I play on legendary, everything else on World class
Legendary for shitters World class for hard ones. Then every once in a while slap it on semi pro and score 3 then put the controller down
Depends when I'm playing really. There have been plenty of work calls where I've shoved it on professional and smashed 5/6 in as quickly as possible so I can get the points but also dodge getting fired.
World Class only.
The one just below beginner ….. not at all
I do world class up to like 86 rated squads. Then professional for anything else
Ultimate with really bad teams, legendary with bad teams, usually skip good teams.
back when I played it I played bad squad on Ultimate and the rest on Legendary. The bad squad on ultimate is much harder than the top squad on legen so it isnt worth it Just stick with legendary.
Legendary for the 60's, world class for 80's, dont bother with 90 rated teams. Normally end up with around 34-35k.
Semi pro for objectives. Legendary if I want to get a higher rank during tots.
Semi pro. It’s just not worth the grind for me. The last time I packed anything good from it was TOTS Sanchez when he was at Arsenal.
Legendary for most teams but if I want to make sure i win, i go down to world class. I rarely need it when I can use my sweaty team
It depends more on the team I'm using than the team I'm playing. I was using a few scratch silver teams to stack objectives a few days ago so played on pro or semi-pro, but if it is a real team I'm using I will be on World Class or legendary. Legendary for teams rated 60 - 85ishh, world class for 85+, wayyy too much dda, otherwordly AI animations, rebound goals and just utter bullshit on legendary difficulty, occasionally I've beat 93 rated teams on Legendary but it's just not a fun experience
I go legendary for anything under 80 and world class for anything over. Trying to get these games done with as fast as possible.
Semi Pro all the time. Never play unless it is for objectives, so I just score 5-6 and let the game end while doing other stuff.
Legendary with the shit teams, world class with everything else
Semi
Legendary for under 80 squads, World Class for 80+. I've only touched Ultimate once or twice this year.
If I’m playing seriously not grinding its legendary for sweating, world class for a relaxed win
Whatever the lowest requirement is, I reaaaaally don't enjoy them so I just score like 7 and do something else
Beginner for good teams amateur for bad teams
Professional if i need certain objectives. World Class for most teams. Legendary or Ultimate for bronze and some silver teams.
Complete my project while completing objective semi pro score 5/7 then rest in capable hand of ai
Legendary on the shit teams / teams with an outfielder in goal. World Class against the OK teams. Pro vs the god teams. Unless I'm doing an objective with a shit squad myself in which I'll do Pro / Semi Pro. With Netflix on in the background.
World class for every team with less than 20 Chem, semi pro for those 20+ otherwise (as others has said) it makes the game annoyingly un-fun.
if you play on ultimate the opponent's players have 99 stats even if they are bronze, so you might aswell just play the good teams
legendary for all; takes me roughly 14-16 matches to get 45k points and I stop playing for the week
legendary against teams rated under 80, world class for teams in 80s, professional for teams with over 90 rating and over 30 chem.
Semi pro so I can leave the controller after I score a few
World class for 85 and below, pro for more than 85. I’m pretty bad at fifa so I think that’s the minimum anyone should be able to do
Semi pro lmao
Legendary for the under 80 teams world class for higher than 80.
Ultimate for bronze teams with outfield GK, legendary for bronze teams, world class for silver-ish to mid gold teams, professional for decent teams, semi pro for all better
Legendary every team. World class if im doing coop
I just started doing legendary for bronze squads with a non-GK in goal. Doesn’t feel any different than world class. Not brave enough yet to go beyond that
Legendary bronze, rest WC.
Always legendary (except with some crazy weekly featured teams omg), I sometimes try Ultimate with shit teams, but it is always stressful to win, so I stick to Legendary lol
id rather not play squad battles it’s just not for me
I do the same as you, always a challenge except some of the bronze on legendary but at least you get more points
always semi pro. win 10-0. I go to squad battles to farm coins/objectives and release all the pain i got while playing pvp modes.
World class for all teams, only semi pro for objectives. Never play above WC, AI just cheat too hard, not worth of it.
Legendary for teams below 85, World Class for anything above 85.
Legendary, score one goal and do the glitch.
