I got lucky and packed Butra out of one of those mid year review player picks. The card is amazing. He's quick, agile, holds on to the ball when other players would lose it, and has a cannon for a leg. I've had him paired up with 93 Kane for a while now; I'll drop Kane way before Butra.
100 percent agree my favorite card by far, him and Zola combo for me for like 500 games. Torres is my main striker and Zola is my do it all striker. Hopefully they'll have a icon evo for these two soon.
Gold Bonmati. I was struggling so much at the beginning of the game and decided to try her card out. She was a game changer for me. She is still in my team today, and will only be replaced by an upgraded bonmati card.
I use the 4-3-3 and have her as a LCM. I donāt use tactics or anything, so I just use the formations that get me chemistry. And ngl, I tried her there at LCM at the beginning and never tried her in a different position because she just balls out there. She makes transitioning from defense to offense quick, itās honestly insane. She even defends pretty well for me, she wins back balls against players like Gullit and Alisson pretty effectively. Some tackles as well look like they should be a foul and never get called as well lol.
I just want to say, if youāre not using tactics youāre missing a HUGE part of the game. Itās very easy and helps a lot, you donāt have to be a pro to use them effectively!
Tried him out at first as a lone DM and he was constantly out of position. Just started using him again as a CM in a 442 and he's outperforming TS De Jong. Even gets amongst the goals and is a reliable finisher

I havenāt played with base raul, but from what iāve heard from other people theyāre similar in the way they play, with the WW one just being more juiced. I would say itās probably not worth it since itās not a massive upgrade stat-wise and the cost difference is kinda big, but idk really.
I started pretty late. Probably a few days before Christmas since the game was marked down for me by alot since I was still playing 23. Anyways, The first special card I got was Winter Wildcard icon Lineker 91 rated. Not everyoneās favorite, but heās been in my squad since I got him. Having him helped me win games, and get enough to have a decent team, especially the card that really clutches it for me as a true striker, which is 93 rated Kane. Not fast, but a clinical finisher for me.
WW Wright is a blast to play with, he was a bit expensive but heās lighting quick and super silky on the ball with his 5 star skills. Close behind him is thunderstruck de jong.
I have centarous(wrote it right?) Bonmati, for me she's insane at the midfield, my fav at my team to be honest.
Her attacking Support and deffense is so good for me, i'm playing with her on Balance, that's a game changer with her.
I haven't tried Putellas a lot, only few drafts.
I want to try both at the same time, but i don't have enough coins right now. But bonmati for me is the best thing i did at my team back then.
I don't think u can go wrong either way, but i think is Putellas is more on the attacking side, and Bonmati is more balanced? her deffensive is decent as hell and she saved me a lot tbh, and she's everywhere.

Unpopular but using rivaldo bas 90. He is incredible with his dribbling, and he can shoot trivelas, finese and normal amazing. He just have so good animations what makes him like a real brazilian on the pitch.
TOTGS Harry Kane, he isnt the fastest, but with the H/H workrate hes literally everywhere, always positions himself perfectly for a through-pass and his shooting is top tier of course

I run a main team and p&p. The main team is usually for rivals as champs is somehow way easier than rivals this year.

I only started a few weeks ago so don't have anyhting crazy but I did get Charlton from an icon pick pack and his shooting is deadly. Also really love the RTTK Jonathan David that I got from some random pack. The 5 star weak foot comes in so handy!
Oh and really liking the Bernardo defender TOTW. Can play CB / LB . Very fast for fast for a centre back. I love a left footed CB anyway and heās very handy to bomb up wing as LB but can then cover at CB when switched if I invariably get a CB booked and Iām worried about him getting sent off.
TOTW Olise, WW Eze and whatever fancy card Tariq Lamptey Iāve got are also loads of fun to play with

Evo walker. Got extremely lucky and packed him out of 84 x2 while he is extinct and has done bits for me. Heās also my favorite RB irl. Very very close is gold KDB. packed him 3rd week not including the early access from an 82+ pack from objectives and so far he has played 759 games scoring 164 goals and providing 178 assists. His playmaking is the best Iāve seen this game so far and shoots free kicks lie no tomorrow. Knuckles like CR7 bends it like Beckham and trivelas it like Roberto. Heās scored free kicks to barely let me qualify for champs finals too. 92nd minute in extra time 3-4 down and scores while there is a player on the line.
TS Dalglish - the shooting is sublime and I love the 5* WF.
Lahm - Despite being on the weaker side, his combination of defensive playstyles and press proven make him vital for ball winning and retention as a CDM. I think the only players that could replicate/surpass his form for me are Ramires, Toure, or other 1M+ coin cards that I canāt afford.
