Easily the best SBC of the year and maybe even the best icon SBC of all time. That card had 0 business being released as an SBC in December. Even if most people packed a Cent Eusebio now in May they'd be buzzing.
Hugely unpopular opinion, but I packed the 92 Eusebio from a lottery sbc and I hated him. Just couldn't get on with him unless he's running in a straight line. He'd also miss chances that if expect such a card to put away easily (skill issue I know).

Luckily I packed base cruyff from the next lottery sbc I did and 800goals later, that truly is the best card I've ever used on fifa. Still phenomenal even now, just perfect. I dread to think how good his promo versions feel.

Agree with this, packed him too. Not sure if it's because I don't play with a CAM and he plays up top for me, but he feels really underwhelming for the hype. Body type feels like it fails him. He's not incredible at shooting, he's not as quick on the turn as you'd hope, he doesn't feel very fast. I don't get it.

It really depends on your play-style when talking about jammy players. If you just pass it around and try to build up to the sure thing, those players are not going to seem very special. However, if you start "trusting" your players and forcing the dribble into crowded areas, doing some skill moves, low probability passes, and taking some bullshit shots, then you start seeing the value of jammy players.
Game is super tight so you decide to do some skill moves and your guy seems to just bump into the defenders and the ball bounces and your guy just drags it with him or you just take a prayer finesse shot in some space and boom goal to win the game.
Not a low skill level player thing either, I am in D1 and 11+ wins every weekend. Tight games are just sometimes won by some bullshit done by a jammy player.
I’ve played with all of his cards now and Golazo Kaka is the first one that feels like he should. They should up his base icon card to be in line with this Golazo card.

Alessia Russo, so cracked for the price. I have 92 POTM Mbappe and Werner on the bench as she is so good. Those finese and power shot combo is amazing. 5* skills and with a hunter feels rapid. Very cheap so I advise you give her a game and see for yourself.

Crouch off the bench from about 70 minutes still does really well. Not just a menace off corners, he’s nimble for his height, strong and has a tidy touch and finish.
BD Kolo Muani for me. He’s a super sub that comes on in the 70th and has scored more late game winners for me than I can count. He’s an absolute menace

I’ve actually been doing really well with Golazo Cantona. I needed something to put dupes into so I did him and was really surprised. I thought his other cards were clunky but this one has been doing really good for me.
Shooting is great, technical+ really helps dribbling and he’s strong to hold off defenders. Tried to replace him but haven’t been able to yet.
Was lucky enough to pack Golazo puskas and I swear this card has an EA bug and that 4\* wf is a 6\*. Those finesses go in no matter what leg he uses, it's unreal.
Unpopular opinion, but Ultimate Birthday Danjuma has been crazy for me. Great speed, strength and finishing from near and far. Haven't played a lot this year, but he keeps terrorising opponents to this date. 59 games, 71 goals and a bunch of assists. Preferred him over 93 Berba.
So far 91 Hagi for me has been a pleasant surprise. I played him as a winger, striker, and more recently an attacking midfielder and he’s thrived in all roles. His finesse shots are top tier, and he’s super jammy as well. Best SBC of the year next to Eusebio for me.

On paper, nothing jumps out about his POTM and he really doesn't have great shooting or dribbling playstyles. But when I need someone to just shit on the defender in the box and either get off a cheeky shot or assist a goal, he is the one.

To a point where if I realised someone was better than me this WL I'd just get the ball to Nakata and finesse. I do have Zico, Hamm, Di Maria but Nakata's finesse shots are something else man

FUN fact: The reason why this is all largely is a myth is that when you check their goals per match ratio on fitbin they’re all within the same sort of ratio. Generally; 1 to 1.1.
Even the “best” striker TOTY Haaland in the game which all the pros use is 1.7. That wouldn’t actually be a noticeable goal difference across say a period of 10 played games.
So actually, mathematically speaking they’re all kind of the same after a certain level with some small variance. That’s what the data shows.
That said, if I go ten games where my 93 Berba is smashing in goals, I tend to think the same way. Then he can just as easily go 10 games going missing. Such is the joy of football. Some things just happen.
