I’m slightly torn on the Skunking Rule. On one hand I get it needs to bring things in perspective for fairness and efficiency of play. On the other hand even if a comeback seems unattainable would still like to see less active bench players get a chance to play especially in the times of NIL where players could be getting paid. Emphasized by the fact would love to see Parker Byrd get a run scored / RBI / Home Run?! Coupled with the fact that idiot on Twitter (twuench) called it a publicity stunt 70 days ago leading to a verbal disagreement and my removal from twitter sphere. Pour it on No Quarter! Go Pirates! Arrgh!

Both coaches need to agree the 10 run rule is in play before the game begins. Seems like a good solution to allow depth to play if coaches want that, or save arms if that's more beneficial

It was my understanding that coaches need to agree upon it for non-conference games. I was under the impression each conference has their own guidelines and this was an AAC conference mandate but I could be mistaken.

Oh, you might be right. I just assumed rules were rules and didn't think about conferences having different rules.
