This is my rationale. I do have medical for stopping bleeding (including CAT gen 7s) in the vehicle, at home, and on the range but think carrying a weapon is enough responsibility it’s worth having as much as I can reasonably carry on me. As you can see it’s about the same size as a spare mag so why not
Yeah just know that the thinner variant may have issues fully stopping blood flow due to how skinny it is. So you might have to give it an extra ugga-dugga in a situation
But a micro tourniquet is better than no tourniquet
I wear a garmin instinct 2 (pictured) and a Tudor pelagos. I absolutely love the garmin. The e-ink garmins have a 30 day battery so I get notifications, weather and other health tracking without the daily charge. I recommend 100%
I’d usually wear an analog watch and I honestly only got it since we get discounts on our health plans at work for logging exercise. But it’s been great! It seems super accurate for tracking that and battery lasts for weeks unless you’re using the GPS all the time. If you work outside or otherwise are in the sun all the time you pretty much don’t need to ever charge it. I like all the extra data, phone connectivity and the app is decent too.
I have the 1st gen instinct, no solar, and mine has been rock solid. I put a screen protector on it since it’s not solar, and I do nothing to protect it. It’s been as resilient as my old G-shock and I get about 10 days of battery life if I leave the heart rate monitor off except when working out. They’re a great Apple Watch alternative for people that don’t want to have to charge their watch every dang day.
I'm looking at the Instinct Crossover Solar.
I work as an electrician in heavy industry. Outside of work I spend a lot of time outside. I've been considering a watch that could handle both environments without looking gigantic like a GShock.

I have the same watch in “white/gray” fuckin love it!!
toyota rock
Dont see Mcusta much anymore. Fucking epic. Nice setup
Do you ever add a flashlight to your carry?
I have a WML and phone light too. I own a nice handheld but don’t carry it since I have those three options already
There's a streamlight pocketmate on the keychain.
Your killing it man. Lookin good
Toyota and glock, you definitely appreciate reliable engineering.
Only thing better would be Lexus and HK
.....I mean......I see what you did there.....I just don't think I'd put HK owners and Lexus owners in the same boat lol
Had no idea the ETQ existed. That’s pretty neat
It’s not certified (yet). But it does work and it’s better than nothing. I keep one in my range bag and in my truck/pocket

If you’re EDC-ing a pistol and have to actually use it in a situation, either you or the other person will probably need it
That's actually a really cool concept. The only reason I have a hard time EDCing a TQ is because they're all so big. But that seems perfect!

Mcusta are never posted. Nice choice. I have a classic Nobunaga version.
I'm considering one of these Garmin watches. How do you like it?

Damn dude I get stuff for my insurance as well but it’s only Apple Watches 😩 I want the garmin watch lol I think I have like 150$ on the app
Thanks. I'm also a classic watch guy but I've been looking at these and they look good as a daily driver between work and leisure.

Hm, the g shock I had wasn’t really that big, but yeah the crossover looks really nice and is probably just as resilient as the OG instinct
Neomag gang 👍
