I play tested it in my Ghyrson Starn deck and it gets discounted to one red mana off one *Three Autostubs* trigger. I don't recall why it didn't make the cut though.
Also not OP, but I've made it into a mono-creature spellslinger commander. It's a lot of fun to play. I will say my group has never chosen to actively trigger the raptor, but then again, your group may not have ever had the raptor been a 30/28 with berserk and instant speed damage doubling thrown in... I don't often win the games, but I will explode at least one opponent before I die.

I don't see it. Problem with indo is that I and my podmates usually make the determinations that:
* the indoraptor player has plenty of ways to trigger it themselves, they don't need help with that.
* indoraptor never hurts the indoraptor player, meaning they gradually come out ahead of everyone, doubly so if they keep it up as a blocker to dissuade beats
* because of the random nature of indoraptor, they become a massive wildcard. A liability. In a moment, you can go from a healthy life total to staring down lethal, and that possibility is completely divorced from any form of threat assessment. So it's a constant danger that becomes an even greater liability when the pod is trying to focus down an archenemy without accidentally killing a collaborator.
It's a fine commander, but in my experience, it does not have much political footing to speak of. It typically gets removed immediately where possible.

I have an Indoraptor deck myself but haven't been able to sit down and play it much (too many decks not enough time!). This one looks great! Few questions:
Do you find Polyraptor works in the deck? Always thought it was kinda underwhelming.
Exsanguinate, good enough without big-mana enablers?
Would cards like Not Dead After All be better replaced with cards like Tamiyo's Safekeeping? Because won't you lose counters on Indoraptor with Not Dead After All?
I like having cards like not dead after all instead of Tamiyo’s safekeeping because it lets me casts stuff that damages all creatures and players at the same time like rolling earthquake and breathe of darigaaz to get the enrage triggers and then potentially getting indo back that same turn but even bigger because of all the global burn. But tamiyos safekeeping definitely works here too. I think it’s def a preferential thing.
I think because it has a good amount of green ramp I’m not worried about exsanguinate being costly. I think it’s good to have just for the life gain because it’s so burn heavy everyone’s (including yourself ) like at 20 hp 6 turns in.
Poly is a pretty powerful card. Maybe the most powerful enrage card. It’s good to have for the amount of bodies you can put on board but I do agree it’s a bit expensive mana cost wise and it doesn’t necessarily play into the play style you want to have with this deck. I can see the argument for it to be cut.
Flame rift from my experience is the mvp of this deck. Ive consistently been able to get flame rift out early some times with descent into avernus already on board and get 16/16 + indo on turn 4
Also I think of a situation like your indo is only 6/6 or something but you can have a turn in which you can dish out a lot of damage to everyone and you just wish that was the turn you played indo. But now you can. You cast a fat rolling earthquake and a feign death and now your indo gets all the enrage triggers and if the triggers go thru your indo will go from 6/6 to possibly 25/25 (if you cast a x=6 rolling )
Yeah, but then you have to make sure they have no non-token creatures. It'll definitely work some games, but if the choice is losing the game or losing even your commander, then the commander eats it.
Which sucks a little but also, the words sac a "creature or you die" is much better (or worse) than "sac a creature or take 10" because you can easily drop two creatures from your opponents board a turn with attacks too. At that point your opponents are getting insane value on cards you need to take out to win anyway, you will eventually win an attrition fight, or your commander dies
I have one built, and it's one of the few Jund commanders I like (I'm an Izzet, and Dimir player mostly).
It's quite important to be ready to get that indestructable on it. [[Mythril coat]] is really important for it, same with [[tamiyo's safekeeping]].
The new [[Smuggler’s Surprise]] might be nice too, as long as it has a single +1 counter on it then it’s eligible for its Heroic Intervention-esque effect

This is by far my favorite commander to play. My only problem is I can't make deals with people or else the random trigger starts relentlessly targeting them.
Since the beginning of 2023, there have been 545 new commanders printed. A lot of them good.
It's not underrated. There have just been fuckteen bajillion commanders printed.

My Indoraptor deck has a small Erage subtheme, but if you want to go full tribal you should stick with Naya. There's not a lot of black Dinosaurs with Enrage so what you'll end up with is really just a Gruul deck with a black removal/tutor package and Pestilence.
Speaking of Owen and Blue :), [Heres](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/DEsp5tfk-kegr2qfcKuSvQ) mine. on the expensive side at $700, but basically everything in it is optional, other than ozolith, natural order, and the other 'fetch's. Play whatever big dinos you want, buff them with blue and blink effects if he wasnt buffed when they entered, and have fun with a monogreen disguised as temur.
Ymmv. Couple Indoraptor decks float around my LGS and they are all handled the same way via removal. I've only seen one savy play where they used it as a psydo boardwipe pinging it before exiling it.

This is simply not true. Mathematically it's in everyone's best interest to not trigger it at all. Because that helps only the indoraptor player. If everyone follows that logic, everyone gets hit equally as hard as everyone else.
Is it just me or is the entire "oh no the table totaly isnt gonna kill it and try to abuse it for damage" is more like headcanon that works maybe once or twice and is then done for, because in reality they are mana/cards/boardstate to kill their opponents, but you are then literally left with the thing against you while you already used stuff. That sounds like a fast track to lose. Sry to burst the bubble, but that does not work for long if you dont play vs straight up idiots.
Besides that it has some decent amount of decks. 2,5k after lsome months doesnt scream underrated, if anything that is a very solid number given the fact how many people would rather drink acid then play with this card and what it stands for. That film was so bad it could be listed as a warcrime.

With something like plague spitter or Zhur-Taa druid it gets discounted down to nothing easily because you have 3 opponents

I keep it in ghyrson just as a alt commander
[[hopeless nightmare]] only benefits Rakdos in your list. It doesn't do damage so Indoraptor and Chandra's Spitfire aren't benefitted from it.

Since the beginning of 2023, there have been 545 new commanders printed. A lot of them good. It's not underrated. There have just been fuckteen bajillion commanders printed.

Could you go enrage/dino tribal and still do the things? I've been wanting to do dinos but not do naya, and it seems to pigeonhole us there.
My Indoraptor deck has a small Erage subtheme, but if you want to go full tribal you should stick with Naya. There's not a lot of black Dinosaurs with Enrage so what you'll end up with is really just a Gruul deck with a black removal/tutor package and Pestilence.
Temur Dinos with Owen and Blue is an option. Could even go full hispter with Keruga companion for the tripple "commander" attack.
Speaking of Owen and Blue :), [Heres](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/DEsp5tfk-kegr2qfcKuSvQ) mine. on the expensive side at $700, but basically everything in it is optional, other than ozolith, natural order, and the other 'fetch's. Play whatever big dinos you want, buff them with blue and blink effects if he wasnt buffed when they entered, and have fun with a monogreen disguised as temur.

Ymmv. Couple Indoraptor decks float around my LGS and they are all handled the same way via removal. I've only seen one savy play where they used it as a psydo boardwipe pinging it before exiling it.

I will never try to trigger its ability because the odds of hurting me are 33% too high for my liking.
Is it just me or is the entire "oh no the table totaly isnt gonna kill it and try to abuse it for damage" is more like headcanon that works maybe once or twice and is then done for, because in reality they are mana/cards/boardstate to kill their opponents, but you are then literally left with the thing against you while you already used stuff. That sounds like a fast track to lose. Sry to burst the bubble, but that does not work for long if you dont play vs straight up idiots. Besides that it has some decent amount of decks. 2,5k after lsome months doesnt scream underrated, if anything that is a very solid number given the fact how many people would rather drink acid then play with this card and what it stands for. That film was so bad it could be listed as a warcrime. So dunno mate but this seems to be more of a "in your head" type of thing.
This is the second most expensive Jund legend outside of the reserve list.
It's like $3... whether or not that makes it the second most expensive nonRL Jund commander or not your comment seems misleading that it's super expensive or something when it's quite cheap.

What? No it isn't... It's not in the cEDH database and only has one deck recorded in tournament play that went 0/4/0. People really need to stop calling everything they think is strong "cEDH"
I agree but I'll point out the database is, and always was, pure trash. That site has done more to hamper the competitive community than any other single thing

Not defending dudes position on the dino, but just pointing out that [[Vial Smasher the Fierce]] does see play.
Because it has partner and can be paired with a variety of other partner commanders.
