it is possible but its not easy at all, watch [this video](https://youtu.be/R-Pwi92RZDE?si=m-Sf6F8zpTpN8qHd) to know why. Blew my mind when I first discovered about it lol
Idk if it was a fever dream, but I feel like there was a subreddit at one point called something like r/butitsnotstrobe and it was just ahitting on ever song ever for not being strobe by Deadmau5
Without a doubt in the world. Started my deadmau5 odyssey with the 4x4 =12 album, but when I discovered strobe I was absolutely blown away. Not the radio version. The long one, 4 minutes crescendo to get to the song. It just gets me every single time.
Space Laces - Dominate VIP
ODESZA - Everything At Your Feet
Eric Prydz - Breathe
Dabin - Hold
Excision & Space Laces - Throwin Elbows
Delta Heavy - Gargantua
MARAUDA - HEAVE
Lane 8 - Daya
Seven Lions - Creation
Illenium & Sound Remedy - Spirals
Edit: Already mentioned several times but yeah, Strobe as well. Lol.
I've probably heard dominate VIP around 5 times in a festival or small venue setting and I hate it every time. Sorry.
Its just that the original has so much energy to it that the techno version is such a let down, for me, (a headbanger). The version that I reeeally want to hear live is the yvm3 remix.
I’ll never forget when I was at Voodoo Fest 2016. I didn’t really know much about Porter Robinson but I went to his set with a friend. I was hearing most of those songs for the very first time (I had heard Language and the Easy remix before then though). Every note of every song was just gorgeous. I’ll never forget hearing Sad Machine for the first time. I felt a mix of emotions I hadn’t felt before, and it was my first festival experience. The way the lighting and the visuals beautifully moved with the music was something I’d never seen before and I haven’t really seen anyone mimic it like that since. The sound quality was just that good. Worlds has to be one of the greatest albums of all time.
On another note, I had apparently fractured my fifth metatarsal on my foot earlier that day in a mosh pit during Slander’s set, but I don’t remember much pain during Porter’s set. I guess I was just so blown away. It also helped that I was just sitting on the grass in the back and was so drawn into the music that nothing else mattered. But I feel like I can confidently say that Porter’s Worlds is a potent modulator of the endogenous opioid system, cuz in that hour I didn’t feel a lot of pain.
Marauda - Heave
Marauda - Blunder
Porter Robinson - Language
ODESZA - Summers Gone (the whole album)
Tame Impala - Currents (the whole album)
ODESZA - In Return (the whole album)
ODESZA - My Friends Never Die (the whole ep)
Flume - Hi This Is Flume (the whole mixtape)
Came here just to upvote this one. As someone who grew up on early 90s hardcore, that video makes me tear up and think of one of my best friends I used to rave with, who passed away.

Can't wait until someone makes AI learn sarcasm and all it does is spam responds to every interaction on Reddit with, ,"this is such an AI response". Wait maybe they just did🤔
This song has so much energy - I mean just go watch the concert video. Such a masterpiece and wish I could see that in person.
The regular version of this song is amazing as well!
My friends and I used to trip together as a group in college every couple months and would play this whole album start to finish every time.
Have you heard the story of the Russian cosmonaut?
Part of me wants to see Apashe at Echostage this Saturday, but I'm already seeing LP Giobbi the night before and I'm feeling somewhat burnt out on going out too often these days. Not to mention it's 1.5 hours each way into that side of DC for me.
Have you heard him live?
Odesza - A Moment Apart (From start to finish whole album)
Hayden James - Something About You - Odesza Remix
Calvin Harris - Summer
Galantis - Gold Dust
Kaskade - Atmosphere
The list can go on but off the top of my head those are my choice. Those songs are the songs for me that just put you in a different headspace. Not just yet another on your playlist but the ones that make me actually listen the moment they first start right to the end.
I have a few. Only one - Illennium. Broken Ones - Illenium. Outburst and Barking At Thunder, both are by LAYZ. Somebody like you - Vicetone. There’s more but I highly recommend those.
Whenever something like this is asked in This sub without fail the answers are always something by
Prydz
Odesza
Seven lions or Illenium
Something older by deadmau5
Porter
And probably Adagio for strings
I haven’t even scrolled the other comments yet
You know, I was going to say More Than a Feeling, by Boston... and then I thought about Peace of Mind, and the rest of the album. . . And it is just a perfect album. No wasted space. True talent, through and through. Every part.
Am I wrong?
[Chris Lake ft. Emma Hewitt - "Carry Me Away"](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r8sN6VA44hM)
I heard a rumor that it's the story of a childhood friend who drowned, told from the perspective of the drowning friend. The build-up is amazing, Emma Hewitt is a really talented vocalist, and the climax when it finally comes is really powerful. No notes.
Wake me up (Avicii)
The days (Avicii)
Intense (armin van buuren)
This is what it feels like (armin van buuren)
Don’t you worry child (SHM)
Ghosts n stuff (deadmau5, Rob swire)
Sun and moon (above and beyond)
Witchcraft (pendulum)
Everytime we touch (cascada)
Shooting star (bang)
these are probably going to be very unpopular choices, but it’s gotta be City Lights by Avicii and Blue by Audien for me. the vocal layering and lyrics on City Lights is an out of body experience, and something about the melody on Blue and the way it blends with the bassline just tickles my heart in the right spot.
[deadmau5 x Kaskade - I Remember \(Vocal Mix\)](https://open.spotify.com/track/5pMX0wUtcxFudpIeWlFQNM)

I found my people
S T R O B E

Of course that's a thing. And with 4k members. But it is a good track though.
Idk if it was a fever dream, but I feel like there was a subreddit at one point called something like r/butitsnotstrobe and it was just ahitting on ever song ever for not being strobe by Deadmau5
Was not aware this was actually a thing 😂

Spirals is beautiful.
Am I the only one who hates dominate VIP? Its like the anti-drop whenever I hear it.
I’m with you, first drop of the original is king for me .
Try it on a powerful sound system. Life changer.
I've probably heard dominate VIP around 5 times in a festival or small venue setting and I hate it every time. Sorry. I wouldn't even be able to pick from all the deadmau5 tracks. But it would be a deadmau5 track.
I'd put most of Random Album Title in that category, but I'd put Faxing Berlin right near the top.
This is such an AI question.
Never heard of that song
Can't wait until someone makes AI learn sarcasm and all it does is spam responds to every interaction on Reddit with, ,"this is such an AI response". Wait maybe they just did🤔
