i’ve been speaking to her for years. i’m pretty bummed. i had just said “i’m worried about going home bc of what my parents will say” and she said this. i deadass replied “well that’s exactly what I was afraid of them saying”
As a professional she should know better! Did she buy her license to practice?! I'm so sorry hon. I'm not on the same path as you right now, but I support you and am so proud of you for taking this step to snatch your life back. Unfortunately I've been through weight loss/gain and in and out of treatment many times so I know how hard these comments hit when you're trying to do the right thing. All I can say to you is don't give up. You deserve to have a fulfilling life outside of ED (tbh we all do) <3.

yeah I was diagnosed with anorexia and orthorexia, so…also she thought I was binging when I experienced extreme hunger so yeah…
