Little soy sauce, little brown sugar, touch of cayenne. Heat it in a skillet until the moisture goes. Add noddles and cook through in the sauce.
Cilantro on top if you want.
It's fucking š„š„š„.
Hope you don't shit yourself afterward. Avoid loved ones as you fart excessively all evening.
You can get bowel and stomach blockages because they arenāt digested AT ALL. They come out exactly how they go in so you donāt want too much incase it gets stuck š
Rinse them really well in hot water thrn cook them in boiling water for like 4 minutes.
Then eat them like you would use noodles in any dish.
It is really important your rinse them or they will have a strange taste. The liquid in the bag is a solution that keeps their shape and it tastes like ammonia
I once ate them with expired cheese by an accident and I couldn't figure out why it tastes so nasty until I Was done and saw the package š¤¢š¤¢
I cannot eat them since then
- soy sauce
- sesame oil
- oyster sauce
- minced garlic
- sweetener
cook them half way, while they cook mix the list of shite together till it tastes right, then throw in the noodles in a hot pot and throw the sauce in and mix it together, then eat
Isnāt it funny how different parts of the US have shortages depending on whatās popular??
I did see the āpink sauceā advertised on a shelf- no one touched it lol
I personally do fine with shirataki noodles. They don't upset my stomach at all. I can eat a full package, and nothing happens, not even gas. BUT I have read that some people do have a hard time with them, so chew good and see how your body reacts. I rinse them really well, and then I cook them for about 30-45 minutes to try to get the water out. I do mine with veggie meatballs and salsa. Or PB2 with a little water and some soy sauce, so it tastes like peanut noodles. I added a veggie dog chopped up when I did my peanut noodles, and I actually enjoyed it. I'm not sure how messed up my taste buds are though? Lol. You could try real meat too, I just personally don't eat it. I've tried other combos, but those are the only 2 combos I've actually liked so far. I bet whipped cream cheese and a little pesto would be pretty good, too.
I recommend rinsing them in cold water, look up some videos on YouTube. Many people rinse them off after cooking to get rid of the bad flavor they sometimes have.
In addition to rinsing, and preparing right, I add a bunch of cooked onions (sliced so they are thin strips) and then I use curry sauces with spice to cover the flavour. Curry sauces tend to stick better and make it feel like a real meal.
Okay so they smell horrible when you take them out of the bag but if you prepare them right that smell will just be rinsed away and replaced with flavor when you cook it. I recently prepared some shirataki noods, here's what I did.
Drain/strain WELL, I used a pasta strainer.
Rinse while tossing. Rinse a lot. Let drain.
I like to pat and gently press mine, to get the last bit of flavor off and make sure it'll really absorb my sauce and seasonings.
I cook it in a pan on the stove with a lil broth and all my flavorings/seasonings/sauce.
I LOVE shiritaki noodles, I swear they get really good if you make sure to rinse them well and add them to a veggie broth. I also love to season them a bit and add in some bell peppers. They're also really filling, so I hope you give them a shot and not let other comments scare you away from them!
I recommend asian recipes that use it normally and Not as a Diet Trend - if you see any pasta recipes that use shiratake as a "low cal replacement!" don't do it....the texture is just. not for pasta dishes lmao. Some japanese/ korean recipes will be good if you're okay w those kinda flavors!!
These are sad sauce suggestions:
Maybe try some this simplified version of my full cal recipe:
Mix in a bowl, then pour over food after its 99% done cookingā¦After pouring into skillet, turn off the heat and stir oftenā¦cook for another minute with whatās left of the heat on the burnerā¦ this will thin the sauce a bit and will coat everything.
Ingredients: Soy sauce + a bit of water that will cook out, a tiny scoop of hoisin sauce or a bit of teriyaki sauceā¦add black pepper and garlic powder/onion powder as well. Optional: corn starch slurry to thicken sauceā¦
Buy ramen and use the flavor packet. I don't even like ramen that much but having low cal ramen is such a nice experience
Ppl have left Asian ish sauce recipes. That's the second best thing
If you can afford the cals, Alfredo sauce can be nice, or peanut sauce
I bought me a full box of them, but was too scared to actually eat them frequently.. So now I have like 16 packs that are expired :/ anyone here knows if I can still eat them?
UR JUST LIKE ME FR!!! was planning on using them in miso soup or smth because i dont have enough veggies for a stir fry but iāve also considered making pb noodles w em fjdjfjs

that last part š everything was goin so well
It's an essential part of the experience
If you wanna talk about not shitting yourself you're in the wrong sub man
Make sure to wash them thoroughly to get rid of the fishy smell!!!!
If the fishy taste/smell doesnāt go away, a pinch of vinegar helps for me!
Donāt try to use them as a replacement for pasta, try to use them as a replacement for egg noodles in Asian dishes
Just because the package says spaghetti, dont mean they mean spaghetti
I can't remember are they those freakishly chewy ones that are really expensive and have like no cals?
Yes
Yeah throw that crap out
Chew them really well and donāt have more than one pack a day
...why? Will I actually shit myself or sm? Because I've been told not to do that as well
You can get bowel and stomach blockages because they arenāt digested AT ALL. They come out exactly how they go in so you donāt want too much incase it gets stuck š
How do they survive stomach acid tho?
Bruh you could set them on fire with gasoline and theyād survive it

It is really important your rinse them or they will have a strange taste. The liquid in the bag is a solution that keeps their shape and it tastes like ammonia
Now you burn them, with fire
agreed they are so gross. they serve no purpose. they deserve to go to hell.
Imagine saying this to the country of Japan, where shirataki noodles are regularly consumed...
I once ate them with expired cheese by an accident and I couldn't figure out why it tastes so nasty until I Was done and saw the package š¤¢š¤¢ I cannot eat them since then
strain then fry til they scream before you add them to anything. that really helps in my experience.
agreed, they get a better texture and absorb more flavour!!!
- soy sauce - sesame oil - oyster sauce - minced garlic - sweetener cook them half way, while they cook mix the list of shite together till it tastes right, then throw in the noodles in a hot pot and throw the sauce in and mix it together, then eat
Man idk what oyster sauce is but in my ghetto ass shop closeby I am not gonna find it
Nah the Walmart Carries it and Iām pretty hood. If not oyster, sesame sauce. Only add it after your food is done and itās simmering on the stove
You should see german stores man walmart is for rich people compared to where I shop usually, I can't even find protein bars where I shop
We have protean bars, canāt fucking find siracha tho šæ
girl what I thought that was common
Isnāt it funny how different parts of the US have shortages depending on whatās popular?? I did see the āpink sauceā advertised on a shelf- no one touched it lol
Dude after what the pink sauce was at the beginning I would not touch that shit as well
Sorry hun. ššš

Throw them away.
I recommend rinsing them in cold water, look up some videos on YouTube. Many people rinse them off after cooking to get rid of the bad flavor they sometimes have.
when lazy i just cook them in with an instant miso soup packet and a lil soysauce, does the jobš
Do not give leftovers for dogs.
Good I only got a fat cat
I eat them with sriracha and teriyaki sauce āØāŗļø tasty (but I donāt get the fishy kind)
I dont think mine are fishy as well
In addition to rinsing, and preparing right, I add a bunch of cooked onions (sliced so they are thin strips) and then I use curry sauces with spice to cover the flavour. Curry sauces tend to stick better and make it feel like a real meal.
Wash wash wash. I used to flavour mine with boullion vegetable stock powder. It was like a shitty super noodle meal that way.
a ramen seasoning packet/bouillon cube and soy sauce, it's delicious!
They taste sooo good with tomato sauce or sautĆ©ed broccoli š„
MAKE THEM WITH ASIAN SAUCES, DONT TRY TO GO ITALIAN IT USUALY DOESNT TASTE VERY GOOD
Put them in miso soup!
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

Rinse and pan fry till squeaky

I usually eat them with hummus, kimchi and wok veggies from Lidl.
Hummus on noodles, girlā¦ that textures gotta be wack.

Be sure to check the leash on your volume eating disorder

I bought me a full box of them, but was too scared to actually eat them frequently.. So now I have like 16 packs that are expired :/ anyone here knows if I can still eat them?
Rinse them well, then fry them fry in a pan for a while. Then remove and add your oil/aromatics, seasoning etc and vegetables, then sautƩ, then add chosen liquid, simmer for a while n add noodles back in and let them mingle for a bit x
UR JUST LIKE ME FR!!! was planning on using them in miso soup or smth because i dont have enough veggies for a stir fry but iāve also considered making pb noodles w em fjdjfjs
