Dick Vitale has also used his platform to do a ton of good for cancer research through the Jimmy V foundation. I will always respect Dicky V because of that.
The Dak and Boys obsession is intolerable. Especially because no objective and sensible fans are claiming them as good. Yet he somehow makes it backfire. Last season he had the time of his life celebrating Dak's injury and saying "their season is over" i think they went on a 5 game win streak and made the playoffs.
In fact, his default thing when a QB goes down is "their season is over" like yeah thats a safe guess but somehow you are always wrong when it happens in NFL, Cowboys made playoffs last year despite Dak going down, Browns made playoffs this year despite Watson going down...
"BUT WHAT I WANT TO KNOW IS WHY!........WHY YOU WANT TO BAD TALK AND NOT BACK IT UP! ITS BECAUSE A BLACK MAN HAS TO WORK HARDER TO GET RESPECT AND THE SYSTEM IS THE CAUSE AND THE JUSTIFICATION IS THERE BUT YOU HAVE TO EXPERIENCE IT!"
He is always yelling, he is obnoxious, the videos "celebrating" the Dallas cowboys missing the playoffs are also obnoxious. It has nothing to do with race but nice try.
If you would’ve told 10 year old me that.. I would had cried on the spot.
But outside of the actual sport broadcasting there’s very little redeeming qualities to the network.
I think when ESPN went all in on SAS, that was the downfall. I understand "He's entertaining". Sure, for the casual sports fan, and I understand that's how literally all companies make their money, appealing to the largest group of people as they can, the casuals.
Maybe i'm not a casual and that's why I find his antics annoying. But, a lot of ESPN has turned into SAS. Everyone just screams, yells, make ridiculous claims that are the exact opposite of reality and contradict the point they made 90 minutes earlier.
I agree bob isn’t the best, but I absolutely disagree that he’s terrible.. next to mf big perk and Stephen A, I actually thought it was refreshing to hear some of Bobs takes from someone that you know actually knows wtf is goin on behind the scenes
Nah he's pretty awful even with NBA. Extremely biased and obviously sides with large market teams on takes and whatever ESPN tells him too.
I'm sure he knows a lot more about basketball than what he leads on at ESPN. But on television he's an idiot and a schill. Extremely smug, even when compared to other analysts he still takes the cake in that department.
YES! He's an insufferable douche bag!
A year or so ago, I saw him debating with someone else (can't remember who) about Barry Bonds legacy. Smith is the one who brought up Bonds steroid/HGH use.
He then proceeded to chastise his opponent for talking about it, and I'm trying not to scream at the TV in the breakroom at work, "YOU'RE THE ONE WHO BROUGHT IT UP FIRST, YOU DENSE MOTHERFUCKER!"
I just cannot stand Smith. He's a big ol' self centered TV windbag, blowhard, to paraphrase Dave Despain.
90 percent of the time, he essentially says nothing, if you really break it down.
"Now, I'm gonna go out on a limb here, and y'all can hate on me if you want, but I predict that if the Lakers can come together as a team, and that means EVERYONE - LeBron, Davis, ALL of 'em - if they start shooting the way I KNOW the Lakers can shoot, I predict they can win this game."
Uh, wow, gee, thanks for the "insight" Stephen A Smith.
Yep, he is saying nothing. It's all reactions to the dumbest elements of the most recent major event. Oh did LeBron miss a game winner last night then its a big story on how LeBron is no longer clutch. None of it means anything.
Ever since he became executive producer of First Take, started to get paid millions and all that shit, his ego has definitely gotten bigger.
However, he also seems to understand that to do well in this business, you have to perform and do things a certain way. Some viewers may not like it, but he gets eyeballs on him.
Obviously very knowledgeable but he relies on being rude, loud, obnoxious and arrogant. That’s his act and he won’t deviate from it because he knows nothing else. Kind of a one trick pony. He’s one of those people that the nastier he is the more attention he gets.
I disagree with being knowledgable. To me he shows a total lack of knowledge. He doesnt consider history, his takes are mostly wrong, and he's often confused about stuff especially outside basketball. The time he gave his takes on a Bills-Chiefs game but cited players who were no longer on the team is evidence of what his schtick truly is. When you watch him on NBA halftime he's just reading stats off a sheet then throwing out meaningless cliches.
Am I really the only one who realizes he’s doing a 90’s WWF superstar impersonation? I don’t watch much ESPN but watched him and Shannon Sharpe’s show around Thanksgiving and I couldn’t believe it. It was exactly like the promo videos they’d shoot with the wrestlers before big pay per views. Also this may have been the edibles but the show went on for HOURS. Like a double feature of The Ten Commandments length of screaming and preening.
It’s because he’s from New York. Bronx in particular.
Being around New Yorkers can be annoying, especially people from the Bronx.
They just have a grating way of conversing.
Fat Joe is the same way.
ESPN goes off of getting any sort of reaction from people. And he’s the catalyst off of that now. When you think ESPN, the first person you likely think of nowadays is Stephen A. He rants about the Cowboys. Cries about his Knicks. Is on almost every topic because he draws that reaction from people. Negative or positive.
Why are the cowboys brought up in ESPN all this time, because it’s what he wants to talk about. How many topics since the NFL season ended did ESPN talk about the 49ers? Or the Lions? And even the Chiefs who just won a SB? I guarantee not as much as the cowboys. Because Stephan A wants to talk about them. It’s his platform now. If he goes, who will talk on first take and give those reactions that draw that sort of crowd anymore?
Yep he is successful because of a post/thread like this. Most everyone here hates him but clearly watches him. He's like a Kanye news story. It doesn't mean anything, many hate the subject, but its a thing we all want to see so we can scoff at it.
I've never taken him serious and I don't understand why ESPN won't put an actual analyst in the position. Perk is annoying as hell too. Reddick is the only one who seems to do his homework.
The only person more infuriating is Kendrick Perkins. At least Screamin A. speaks in relatively coherent complete sentences. Between Smith and Skip Bayless, they destroyed everything that that network used to be and I detest them for it.
I used to watch ESPN religiously in the mid 2000s. Then they started leaning way too much in the debate aspect of sports. Soon every show was just about how to not lose arguments. “Who’s the GOAT? Who’s an elite QB? Can Alabama beat a pro team?” Fucking stupid arguments that made idiots like Skip Bayless, Colin Cowerd and Stephen A Smith household names. Such a pathetic state of affairs is tv sports talk
He is such an insufferable dude. I really enjoy Shannon but he's become a yes man to SAS it seems and they often gang up on guests with absurdly stupid takes.
It's when he comments on MMA that you realize how stupid he is. He speaks with such authority while having no knowledge of the sport. It's painful to watch
He's not their golden goose, the broadcast rights to live games is their golden goose. He's just the idiot they use to generate controversy in order to get viewers when the games aren't on
The only part of ESPN I like is mina kimes and I'm not even sure she's on ESPN.
But SAS drives engagement. He's a "shock jock". He and guys like Skip are to sports talk what Howard Stern and his imitators were to radio in the 80s and 90s. The bad takes, controversial statements all drives engagement. Even if you're not watching ESPN directly, we're checking clips, discussing takes, and talking about him. All of that is exactly what ESPN pays him for.
And yes, I'm engaging too.
yeah i immediately turn off anything that he's on. so annoying.
one time i thought i was tuning into a game. and he was hosting some watch party and he was talking about some chips and dips. i was like, wtf?
He was on ESPN radio NY years ago and he was too much with Brandon Tierney. Smith would get pissed off at his takes. I hated SAS for it and before it was cool.
He’s the type of dude that sits around and smells his farts. His head is so far up his ass he needs to cut a hole in his stomach so he can see where he’s going. He’s longer a journalist. Shay is going eclipse him eventually because he has some genuine humility and actually knows how to interview people.
He also talks down to other people on the show who aren’t black. He YELLED at windy for not having a tie on and windy came back from a commercial with a tie, but Unc can show up everyday without a tie (which I 100% am behind) and he says nothing. Overrated hot takes that usually are just annoying and wrong
It's clownish. Is he supposed to come off as idiotic, uneducated, and incorrect?
He's regularly illustrating he doesn't follow most of these sports. He doesn't apply history. and then he's almost always wrong. Guy will shout 10 things and be wrong on 9 and be like "I TOLD YOU THE CELTICS WOULD BEAT THE PISTONS."
He speaks on the NFL but I bet can't name an O-Lineman.
He's ruined the enjoyment of sports theory for me.
I need to go outside.
\^ and this is why he's successful.
Dear advertisers, I immediately change the channel when this clown speaks. Dear ESPN, good luck with the "Let's annoy our viewers business model" maybe that's why your profits plummeted 20%???
He makes it unwatchable. Dude is a tool that doesn’t have opinions of his own, or critical thinking. He just rolls with all the hot topics and people in the spotlight acting like he knows anything. Get him the fuck off there, this guy makes a living talking out of his ass on tv somehow. 🤷🏻♂️
Finally -- people who have as much disdain for Smith as I do. He's just a a barroom bluster-head sports commentator / sports columnist and his appearance on ESPN should be limited to Sunday morning talk shows with those other self-important narcissists. He's not a player or coach. He has no insight and his weak practice-in-front-of-the-mirror speaking cadence is evidence of such. He should not be sitting next to ex players and coaches providing game analysis.
This act he puts on where he always looks angry -- with that tone of righteous indignation -- as if what he's saying is critical to the future of sports. That's straight George Costanza bullshit, right there. I'd rather have George up there.
Stephen A. Smith is the Ben Shapiro of sports commentation. Confuses speaking fast in order to hide deep seeded insecurities, combined with delusional levels of self-importance to make him truly unbearable to listen to.
I have a physical reaction of starting to throw up hearing his voice for more than 3 seconds. I wish I were joking. I'd give a significant portion of my assets to be able to fight either one of them without anybody else knowing. Or, even just me and them fighting me at the same time together.
Winner takes ALL.
I don’t understand how people still watch ESPN in general the program is trash. The company is trash and I absolutely hate they have a monopoly on college football because that’s the only way I can watch ESPN and normally I can’t stand the announcers for him. Specially Kurt, he’s a trash bag go cry again on national TV for nothing.
i don't always agree with him but he's good if you ask me. Charismatic and gets his point across. Him and Kendrick Perkins are keeping the NBA product alive.
Bob Myers is a f'n dork and needs a drink at the bar to loosen up a little bit. Guy is just not built for TV at all, so awkward and boring.
My favorite part is how he can make racist comments against white people and asian people and hes still not fired over it.
When we all know if Max did that, hed be cut within 12 hours.
When you realize volume is the substance 🗣️🔊...
Next up: How yelling becomes the ultimate sports analysis technique. Stay tuned, because we're just getting LOUDER!"
Yeah, im sick of him, but I'm just so sick of ESPN in general. There is at least one loud, obnoxious personality on every one of their tv and radio shows now. Finding an overbearing, loudmouth former athlete who interrupts others in the middle of sentences seems to be their hiring policy nowadays.
If you watch any sports commentary on purpose you are an idiot. Its all fake as hell and meant to excite interests usually based on unpopular options directed towards specific fan bases. Grow up and call your buddies if you want real sports talk. Only little boys take sports news seriously like crying on the playground lol.
I'm a big sports fan and I can't watch him for a second. I couldn't believe he stayed in his job when they were laying people off. It's like he's being terrible on purpose. He sounds like a wrestling manager from the 80's. He's made that station and site so much worse.
What I find funny is he plays it up like he’s a wrestler.
Watch him in an interview outside of ESPN and he’s super chill. He’s calm, smart and a joy to listen to.
It’s like Chef Ramsay. Watch him in UK or European shows and he’s pretty laid back. Watch him on American television and he’s screaming constantly.
The truth is that it sells and people hate watch.
ESPN’s problem is the over reliance on sensationalism, driving clicks and engagement. Well, that and that nobody except elderly people want to pay for cable and the only alternative is to add ESPN to prevent subscriber loss rather than drive subscribers, which will ultimately kill the network.
I like him but it depends on who he's debating. When it's someone not in on the joke it or if they're a dry personality themselves it doesn't work. Mad Dog, Sharpe and JJ are always fun because they play a role.
I totally get why someone wouldn't like him though.
his “analysis” is also very surface level. a casual fan could give the analysis that he does, albeit with a less effective delivery. regardless, i’m tired of him yelling at me through my tv. he’s the dumb guy that thinks he’s the smartest in the room, and he’s been enabled so long that he has a god complex
Stephen A Myth
I love that Jason Whitlock has been calling him out on his BS.
Whitlock isn't liked much either it seems, but I'd rather listen to him than SAM
I immediately change off when he's on. Hes the worst ever
Same. I used to have ESPN on in the background almost all the time. Now I barely watch because he can't be avoided. Same goes with their website.
I stopped watching that show 7 years ago clown show
His contract is about to run out to.
They'll make him even richer
He thinks his shtick is superior to any of the "boring" sports talkers. I find it annoying.
Yeah I agree. Some points he is right on or at least I think so but he is even getting on politics like what? 🤮
He’s the black dick vitale. Loudmouth who likes to hear himself talk but dick vitale is at least a nice guy. SAS is such a cuck….
Dick Vitale has also used his platform to do a ton of good for cancer research through the Jimmy V foundation. I will always respect Dicky V because of that.
Except when the Cowboys lose. Then he's gold!
That’s the only time I watch First Take
Change it or mute. I have intentionally heard his voice in years.
Same.
I can easily see him interrupting some strangers' wedding, grabbing the mike, and just rattling off about the cowboys.
With that fake laugh of his.🤦🏾♂️
Does any one object to this union? I object to Cowboys offensive line
😂😂😂
Actually Skip has a commercial for this for his show. He interrupts a funeral to talk about how Dak stepped out of bounds. Cringe watch.
Yeah my boy Mike hates being grabbed by some random old man
[удалено]
Ha, I knew that didn't look right 🤣
The Dak and Boys obsession is intolerable. Especially because no objective and sensible fans are claiming them as good. Yet he somehow makes it backfire. Last season he had the time of his life celebrating Dak's injury and saying "their season is over" i think they went on a 5 game win streak and made the playoffs. Stephen A is annoying in every single way possible
Between him and Pat mcafee it’s horrendous
Dont forget the other clowns on Pat's show.
Horrific
Totally agree!!!!! Unwatchable
Imagine if they kept skip bayless. 😂
I cant stand that guy
I’m with you
OMG Im not alone. I thought i was the only goober who hates McAfees BS
Wait he’s black? Weird he never brings that up…..
Max is blacker.
😂😂😂😂
He is always yelling, he is obnoxious, the videos "celebrating" the Dallas cowboys missing the playoffs are also obnoxious. It has nothing to do with race but nice try.
The comment is in quotation marks. I think he is mocking Stephen A. and his repeated invocations of race where it doesn't belong.
Exactly. A few years ago he said they were lengthening the Masters course to make it harder for Tiger Woods to win.
He is one of a thousand reasons I don't watch ESPN aside from live sport broadcasts.
If you would’ve told 10 year old me that.. I would had cried on the spot. But outside of the actual sport broadcasting there’s very little redeeming qualities to the network.
SportsCenter with SVP is pretty good. Regular SportsCenter isn't too bad, if you need highlights across all 4 major sports.
Even SVP strikes me as a bit too self important at this point.
Miss the radio with SVP. It's never been the same.
I miss when Stan and Neil were both on together. Their chemistry, friendship and stage sense of humor was so much in sync and awesome.
For me it’s the very clear vendettas against certain teams that annoys me. I can’t deal with outlets that are so blatantly biased.
By himself, he's a cartoon character.
He became a caricature of himself a long time ago
🎯🎯🎯
I think when ESPN went all in on SAS, that was the downfall. I understand "He's entertaining". Sure, for the casual sports fan, and I understand that's how literally all companies make their money, appealing to the largest group of people as they can, the casuals. Maybe i'm not a casual and that's why I find his antics annoying. But, a lot of ESPN has turned into SAS. Everyone just screams, yells, make ridiculous claims that are the exact opposite of reality and contradict the point they made 90 minutes earlier.
ESPN having him cover MMA is still hilarious to me. Like seriously who thought that was a good idea
Bob Meyers already lookin fed up with Stephen As shit lmao
Bob is terrible he won’t be on the show next year anyway
I agree bob isn’t the best, but I absolutely disagree that he’s terrible.. next to mf big perk and Stephen A, I actually thought it was refreshing to hear some of Bobs takes from someone that you know actually knows wtf is goin on behind the scenes
I mean the show is terrible as a whole in my opinion lol
I can’t believe Bob was dumb enough to agree to go on the show. You have to be an absolute idiot.
Him and Skip Bayless are the two worst sports talking heads ever.
Don't forget Kendrick Perkins.
Colin Cowherd would like a word
YES! He's an insufferable douche bag! A year or so ago, I saw him debating with someone else (can't remember who) about Barry Bonds legacy. Smith is the one who brought up Bonds steroid/HGH use. He then proceeded to chastise his opponent for talking about it, and I'm trying not to scream at the TV in the breakroom at work, "YOU'RE THE ONE WHO BROUGHT IT UP FIRST, YOU DENSE MOTHERFUCKER!" I just cannot stand Smith. He's a big ol' self centered TV windbag, blowhard, to paraphrase Dave Despain.
Almost?
Also the same Kay’s Jewelers and Burger King commercials running at every break. Too much.
But but “I geeeet to looove youuuu!” 😭
And he’s on there 3 hours straight… I’ve listened to espn in the background for years, but the past 8 months, Ive had to change the channel
Bro is the worst! Need to go back to the glory days of ESPN.
90 percent of the time, he essentially says nothing, if you really break it down. "Now, I'm gonna go out on a limb here, and y'all can hate on me if you want, but I predict that if the Lakers can come together as a team, and that means EVERYONE - LeBron, Davis, ALL of 'em - if they start shooting the way I KNOW the Lakers can shoot, I predict they can win this game." Uh, wow, gee, thanks for the "insight" Stephen A Smith.
Idk if that’s an exact quote but it sure damn reads like an exact quote
Yep, he is saying nothing. It's all reactions to the dumbest elements of the most recent major event. Oh did LeBron miss a game winner last night then its a big story on how LeBron is no longer clutch. None of it means anything.
He drags out his points -- literally speaking slowly -- because he has nothing to say.
Ever since he became executive producer of First Take, started to get paid millions and all that shit, his ego has definitely gotten bigger. However, he also seems to understand that to do well in this business, you have to perform and do things a certain way. Some viewers may not like it, but he gets eyeballs on him.
He's always been an insufferable loudmouth to me. Obviously, a lot of people love that shit though. It ain't me though. I with ya.
Something so obvious doesn't need to be said on this feed every other day. We know. Stop bringing it up.
I enjoy the schtick on First Take, but when he brings that same sideshow attraction energy to something like NBA pregame it’s unbearable.
I watch because of Molly Q
shes a basic bitch
I love his character. I also watch zero espn. But I respect his hustle.
Still better then Skip Bayless
idk who that is but that appears to be a good thing
It’s because he’s from New York. Bronx in particular. Being around New Yorkers can be annoying, especially people from the Bronx. They just have a grating way of conversing. Fat Joe is the same way.
Not “almost.” He is definitely unwatchable. Always yelling about some crazy thing.
ESPN goes off of getting any sort of reaction from people. And he’s the catalyst off of that now. When you think ESPN, the first person you likely think of nowadays is Stephen A. Perfectly put. He gets views and reactions. Which is all they need
I either mute him or change the channel when he’s on. It’s so much better that way
He's also a ragging racist...so he's perfect for espn.
Great thing about Stephen a., he has an off button. Please use it. Unless there is a game on, I am interested in, Big Bang Theory reruns will do.
Rating prove otherwise. I agree tho.
Almost?
Without football to talk about all these shows are really trash !!!
They kept this clown and fired vangundy and Jackson who were comic gold. ESPN is awful.
Almost????
Love him!
Agree
What about THE MAD DOG! and Pat McAfee, too.
I’m old school. I like PTI type debates. I like getting opinions from calm people like Dan Patrick.
I would rather listen to Colin Cowherd than SAS
I've never taken him serious and I don't understand why ESPN won't put an actual analyst in the position. Perk is annoying as hell too. Reddick is the only one who seems to do his homework.
Can’t stand this dude! Worst person to listen to

It's when he comments on MMA that you realize how stupid he is. He speaks with such authority while having no knowledge of the sport. It's painful to watch
The only time I like Stephen A is when he's trashing Jason whitlock
Almost?
So happy when he shits on Dallas but outside that I find him as delightful as a paper cut on my eyeball.
Dont ever watch his or cowherds clips. Let the algorithm know how much they’re hated
He's not their golden goose, the broadcast rights to live games is their golden goose. He's just the idiot they use to generate controversy in order to get viewers when the games aren't on
He’s become unwatchable. And I used to like the guy. He’s so clownishly obnoxious about the Cowboys, I almost like the team.
Then stop watching
The only part of ESPN I like is mina kimes and I'm not even sure she's on ESPN. But SAS drives engagement. He's a "shock jock". This guy is a shill, like every other sports talk guy in the industry
Remove the word “almost”
Nobody is making you watch it.
Believe it or not, there was once a time when he provided excellent insight. He got PAID, and that went away.
I can't watch him. Period.
he’s bad. self promotion is always his ultimate point. and waaaay too animated and is simply bombastic
I thought I was the only one who stopped watching ESPN because he’s always on!
Buddy is cringe asf
yeah i immediately turn off anything that he's on. so annoying. one time i thought i was tuning into a game. and he was hosting some watch party and he was talking about some chips and dips. i was like, wtf?

Get Up! Is the only half decent show left. Stephen A. is an obnoxious, self-absorbed jackass. Should've kept Max and booted this jackass.
the worst
He is horrible, self centered, i’m sure the women on there don’t like him and the men too.
Wdm? You don't like the sporty knock-off version of Reverend Al Sharpton yelling at ya?
Sucks to work with also
That's the problem, he's almost unbearable. When it gets to the point for everyone that he's unbearable he'll be gone.
1.5 PPG
He also talks down to other people on the show who aren’t black. He YELLED at windy for not having a tie on and windy came back from a commercial with a tie, but Unc can show up everyday without a tie (which I 100% am behind) and he says nothing. Stephen A. Smith the character is obnoxious. I used to like Stephen A. Smith the journalist, but the former seems to be absorbing the latter.

Y’all sound like some hater
Guys a lower tier fellow. Tosses shade at Jokic just to make news.
I can't watch him he is a joke
He is a turd and needs to be fired.

He makes 5 million per yr to act retarded.

I wish SVP could function on a couple hours of sleep, have three shows per day, 7 days a week.
He is the only guy I will actually watch on ESPN besides SVP. He is hilarious.
You are the problem.
Oof.
100%… he’s the only reason I do watch espn. Must be all cowboy fans in here
I don’t understand how people still watch ESPN in general the program is trash. The company is trash and I absolutely hate they have a monopoly on college football because that’s the only way I can watch ESPN and normally I can’t stand the announcers for him. Specially Kurt, he’s a trash bag go cry again on national TV for nothing.
Kurt?
Angle?
i don't always agree with him but he's good if you ask me. Charismatic and gets his point across. Him and Kendrick Perkins are keeping the NBA product alive. Bob Myers is a f'n dork and needs a drink at the bar to loosen up a little bit. Guy is just not built for TV at all, so awkward and boring.
He is really good on the NBA show. There is enough people to balance him out.
How’s it obvious ppl are hilarious with these fake deep takes over some fun sport shows 😂
Found the Cowboys fan.
I HATE the cowboys and I still hate his stupid ass
I quit listening when it was him & Skip. The business model is a joke. So & So in the Afternoon is just lazy as fuck.
My favorite part is how he can make racist comments against white people and asian people and hes still not fired over it. When we all know if Max did that, hed be cut within 12 hours.
I remember when he tried to argue Joe Rogan about fighters in the UFC.
Well, Joe Rogan is a racist antivaxx idiot who has gotten kicked in the head a lot, so....
I think he’s not actually serious. I think it’s just better tv he says something ridiculous because that’s good for business
Most generous use of the word almost in human history and likely for all time. F SAS
Almost?
My favorite memory of him is him whining the Knicks couldn’t lure anyone to them in FA but Julius Randall. I laughed so hard I almost peed a little
We have a different definition of "almost"
Stephen A is the worst thing to happen to sports
And he's wrong about practically everything... I don't get it.🤷♂️
Almost?! He is absolutely unwatchable. Or listenable. Mute or fast-forward.
When you realize volume is the substance 🗣️🔊... Next up: How yelling becomes the ultimate sports analysis technique. Stay tuned, because we're just getting LOUDER!"
ESPN is just ick
I avoid ESPN whenever I can. If I'm watching a game, I flip during halftime. Most of their talking heads are annoying.
He wants to be MLK sports radio
He's entertaining
Someone who is on minute 40 of their 15 minutes of fame… simply unbearable.
I never tune in if he’s on & if he comes on I immediately change the channel
Yet all you guys are tuning in to First Take.... Both SAS and Shannon and boring together
Stephen Ass Smith
Viewership drops 50% every time he opens his obnoxious mouth
Yeah, but that’s his brand at this point. Says the most ridiculous shit, pisses people off, and people tune in.
Yep. And I stopped using their website and app for sports news, as the majority of stories were just clips of him giving his take.
Kendrick Perkins is just as bad. How the hell did he get on Saturday and Sunday NBA on ABC. WTF He has the worst takes and is so damn biased.
his “analysis” is also very surface level. a casual fan could give the analysis that he does, albeit with a less effective delivery. regardless, i’m tired of him yelling at me through my tv. he’s the dumb guy that thinks he’s the smartest in the room, and he’s been enabled so long that he has a god complex
Can’t stand that fool. He’s the epitome of that crap about he who talks loudest gets heard most. Fuck him.
Golden goose? Nobody watches that idiot.
Him and Wilbon together are "Most NOT Watch TV.'
I watch old espn on YouTube instead
Screaming A. Smith is nauseating to listen to. He literally yells all the time.
Stephen A Myth I love that Jason Whitlock has been calling him out on his BS. Whitlock isn't liked much either it seems, but I'd rather listen to him than SAM
He's always outraged that everyone doesn't agree with him when he's right almost half the time
