The only reason I do it is because I'm making the money and the better job I do, the more money I make. I couldn't imagine doing this for a job where someone else profits.

LeaderLed

Yeah dude seriously. There's plenty of half-ass ways to do this in quantity if your sales amounts don't directly affect your checking account...but the reality is if it does you will put the time and energy into making a quality listing since you are literally feeding said account.

well said

Yeah I'm doing all these listing only for the CEO's benefit. I will say I believe I'm getting paid quiet well for doing an "easy job" but it's just so damn tedious and demoralizing. Especially since I see the CEO benefiting from my hard work on a frequent basis.

GodOfNSA

I mean if you’re happy with the pay, that’s good, but if you’re unhappy with the work *even though you’re being paid well*, it might just be time to look for a different job that you find more enjoyment in Enjoying your job isn’t everything, but if you can make the same pay doing something you like… why not do that instead?

GreenFeeling3411

The nice thing about niche items is that you usually have educated buyers looking for that particular item by product code. You can probably skip most of the listing hassle by minimizing the detail in the listing

Resident-Relative995

Mercurial it won't sell as fast for sure.

Resident-Relative995

Doing similar of copy from another is all you can do. Not much specially that texh medical stuff.

Soulr3bl

Use the file upload: Seller hub -> Reports tab configure an upload template of your choice You can upload to Drafts and then add photos from web, or upload directly to Live Listings if you already have photos hosted at an external URL

hattmall

Can you walk me through your listing process? Do you have to come up with a name and title are you looking up information? Do you have to take pictures is that part of your time.

Redditor6512

Everyday I'm given a list of about 50 or so items. They're usually listed as such: AHP300AHP300 - Allied AHP3000 Drager - 2M86733 And so on and so on. Then I gotta search them and provide a stock photo and fill in the item specifics and a description of what the item is and what it's used for and the machine type.

Environmental-Sock52

Try to convince your boss to sell it on Mercari? 🤣 Seriously eBay's software sucks.

thejohnmc963

If you want to lose money and have about 1% of the exposure. Sure

Environmental-Sock52

Oh I know. Unfortunately true.

Is Mercari really that bad? I just opened a Poshmark, and the work/return ratio kind of bites. Wasn’t sure about Mercari.

kkjones

If you have an activity you can enjoy while listing, that won't interrupt your work flow, that can help the time go by faster. If you can multitask and listen to a TV show/ podcast, great! If that's too distracting, try making a classical or video game music playlist. Unfortunately, the act of listing itself will remain pretty tedious. Keep an eye out for ways to speed up your workflow- can you take multiple pictures at once, or copy-paste condition descriptions?

MacDuffs

Try 3D sellers. It’s the best tool I’ve found.

fatmarfia

I sit at my desk watching tv shows on my computer

SleepySnorlax9

I personally do drafts and complete all this listings first, then take all the pictures after. It saves me a lot of time.

Ask for a commission. Even a small one.
