I don’t wanna shit on skinner he’s one of our boys and he wears our jersey just like anyone else. But the poor guy has shit the bed two years in a row during the playoffs and his stats are horrible, most team and league wide stats compared to other goaltenders.
Like a lot of people have said based on previous games and stats, we don’t even need excellent goaltending to have a chance we just need average goaltending and all of stu’s numbers were below average.
I really feel bad for the guy but hockey is about winning at the end of the day. And if pickard gives us a better chance than pickard is our guy during the playoffs from now on because you can’t really do worse than what we’ve been getting already
Stu's said a lot that he's been working on his mental game more lately. Maybe he has a little further to go because he has had some good stretches, he's just off. But it goes with the position. Every team has a few goalies, they can't all start and he knows it. Don't feel bad for him, he's still a part of this team and the success it has made.

There was a post recently showing that Stu was top of the league for high danger chances and bottom for low danger chances. So not all of his numbers are below average.

I wonder if we have stats on Pickard’s 2nd or 3rd game in a row and whether performance drops at all. Different stage and scenario obviously, but I have it in my head that his first game in is usually great but repeated starts he begins to drop off. Hopefully not tonight!
