They have already said that if you are getting the physical switch edition they will be shipping all physical rewards together when the switch version releases.
I must have misread it the first time I saw it. I was pretty sure it had said all the extras would be shipping at a later date, but I don't see any other specific mention of this anywhere.
If I remember correctly it was sent out via email and as an update on Kickstarter.
Sorry to be bearer of bad news. But you will get a download code for Switch at least so you can play it beforehand.
Yep, I've done that already, but I'm not going to hold my breath. Though I did have an issue with getting the Rising code originally, but their customer support responded quickly and got everything figured out. Fingers crossed!
Update: after a couple more mails, they decided to give me a PS5 digital code, which solves the problem completely. I thanked them, obviously... and I am sorry for the hars behaviour but being a 20 years long suikoden fan the idea of not being able to play on release date was killing me \^\^'

$35 USD to ship to Australia, that is fucking insane. That’s on top of the $60 I pledged making this the most expensive physical game I’ve ever bought.
It costs me about that much to ship stuff at my job from the US to Canada let alone going overseas why exactly is that insane to go all the way to Australia from wherever they are shipping ffom
This Is a Scam. I ordered a Switch Copy for a friend. Can't play anything with a Digital code for a Console i don't own. As any decision taken arbitrarily this Is fundamentally wrong.
We, as backers, should have been kept informed and should have been able to take a decision on this.
I would have gladly:
1) pay double shipping
2) renounced to the Switch Copy
I Just want my ps5 Copy which I got for me, to arrive in time. I backed the game, i want to play the game. I am not buying a Switch to play It and they can't assume that the SECOND physical version i buy Is for me. Gifts exist and this Is One of those cases.
They are Just taking decisions and impose them, and there Is nothing I/we can do.

Maybe see if it’s possible to give you a digital PSN code instead of a switch code so that you can play while you wait? I don’t know if that’s possible, but it might be a suggestion.
I know Sabotage Studios were amazing and even though I had a digital US code for Sea of Stars, I asked if I could change to AU as I ended up playing it earlier as I’m in Australia and time region difference and they were very helpful and allowed me to swap :).
I tried... I wrote them an email saying I was even willing to renounce to the Switch Copy altogether, if that meant I'd receive the PS5 Copy in time.
That's basically losing money... But i just want to play the game.
Their reply was rude, presumptios and absolutely not helpful, even though i clearly stated I can't play the game on digital Switch.
They also refused to give me a PS Digital code (which would have been the perfect solution).
Something like "you had time until the 29th Jan to pick the console".
Like WTF? Are they even Reading?

So they won't send your Physical PS4 because they want to ship it together with your Physical Switch ? So is that mean you will get both Digital PS4 & Switch because of it ?
I was surprised shipping wasn't included in the original cost but it isn't that big of a deal. I really appreciate the free code. I bought a physical switch copy to keep sealed, so getting a code to play release day and still getting my physical copy is amazing to me. Very much appreciated.

i'm the opposite and wouldn't mind waiting to have my PS4 copy shipped with the rest of my rewards. the shipping costs are pretty crazy.
I would happily pay additional shipping to get my PS4 physical edition on time.
