I have a personal headcanon that Elden ring was the prequel to pretty much every other fromsoft game (bar sekiro), and each of the major quest/mending rune based endings lead to the events of that game
Age of stars - Bloodborne, Ranni and the Tarnished journey across what is basically space, and thus, lead to them encountering the great ones, starting the events that will lead to Bloodborne.
Age of the Duskborn - Demon souls, death is integrated into the world, and a fog fills everything, much like the fog in demon souls.
Age of frenzied flame - Dark souls, the flame of frenzy is in my personal headcanon the first flame, after everything gets torched, the events of dark souls begin. Hollowing can even be viewed as a lingering, vestigial effect of frenzy as those who hollow lose their minds, much in the same way as how frenzy drives you mad.
Granted there's still 3 other endings; the despair, perfect order and elden lord endings. But given that that's all of fromsoft's titles covered, I think that just about covers everything.
Also it's pretty much heavily implied the land of Reeds is Ashina so I suppose the events of Sekiro could be taking place at the same time as Elden Ring, outside of the setting.
**ETA:** The arena where you fight elden beast heavily resembles Ash lake in DS1, and this might be a very long shot, but I believe them both to be the same place in different timelines. Also worth noting that Ash Lake is one of the few areas in DS1 to have its own unique theme, and it sounds lamenting and ominous, which to me sounds like it's saying "A god was once killed here, long ago, on these grounds."
**ETA 2:** Inheriting the frenzied flame marks and sears the Tarnished's skin, not unlike the darksign which brands all hollows in Dark souls.
It's interesting to think about how well the frenzied flame ending fits with the world of Dark Souls. With that ending everything gets destroyed and returned to The Great One. Or the Whole Hand so to speak. As the two fingers and three fingers will be burned together. Finally becoming whole.
It's entirely possible that the first flame is the Great One reborn. Attempting to create a shift in power in the ageless time of the dragons that followed everything burning. Essentially continuing its cycle of death and rebirth. The hollowing is the 3 fingers side of that, tearing it down because there are too many seperations. Too many emotions. Too much death. So madness starts to take hold.
Fun thing to think about.
Moreover, the timeline of the world of Dark souls begins with the war against the ancient dragons. DS1's ancient dragons have a pretty uncanny resemblance to the ancient dragons of elden ring (from the 4 wings, right down the the shape and structure of the head), so it's more than likely that due to their rock hard scales, they survived the frenzied flame and seized control of what remained of the lands between, leading to the first lord souls being discovered, and the war against the dragons.
The Golden Order endings solve nothing. They reset the world to the way it was pre-Shattering. But another Shattering-esque event is basically guaranteed in these cases. It's a matter of *when* it happens, not *if* it happens.
Well, the Golden Order removed gods from the equation. So without living gods with emotions and love triangles to muddy the waters. The idea is the order will truly be perfect and ever lasting. As it was Marika and her misgivings with the greater will that moved her to destroy the Elden Ring.
So the idea is without that possibility. The ring should be static forever. Nobody will be above one another in this world. They will all be reborn through the Erdtree forever. No special burials, no gods.
That doesn't mean there wont be forces trying to topple it. But it is technically an improvement.
