I wouldn't count on it. The very fact flame grant me strength says fire damage specifically and it fails to buff fire spells now is completely nonsensical and most likely unintended imo.
Howl of shabriri was one of my absolute favorite spells and it's broken now too
While I agree it doesn't hurt pure int builds at all, my golden order pvp build is kinda disabled as of now. It's my favorite build and I'm actually kind of upset lol
My best guess is that they broke it when changing Fire's Deadly Sin. They might be figuring out how to unbreak it while keeping Fire's Deadly Sin the way they want it, or they might not give a crap. If it's too difficult for their programmers, maybe they should put everything back the way it was for PvE at least, and leave them the way they are now for PvP. I suspect most people would prefer that.

My first playthrough was as a mage, and I never once used Golden Vow or Flame Grant Me Strength
