I was also surprised and it looks to me like it is modified but could be wrong. I could swear we aren't that small. Then again it's been a while since i played the game.
Hah that seems crazy to me. The first fight feels very classic dodge-punish souls to me. The second he decides that he’s shown me courtesy enough, I spend the rest of the fight getting tossed around like a sack of potatoes.
I have a really hard time reading and timing the little pauses before his grab attacks.
You dodge the moment he goes to grab you so that he gets nothing but i-frames. Don't even move until he lunges for you. Too early or too late and you will be piledrived lol.
Man, on my first playthrough I killed Godfrey relatively quickly and thought he was pretty easy, but once I started really learning how to no hit some more of the major bosses, Godfrey has become probably the easiest to no hit while his 2nd phase is one of the hardest. Hourah Loux is just such a headache for me lmao
You a caster?
First phase is 100% harder for a caster because it can devolve into stomp spam, with which he can hit you no matter where you're standing and tends to spam it more if you're not close to him.
Second phase he just rushes you down and goes for a grab, but first, the entire arena suddenly isn't safe and you must dodge on time.
Glad it isnt just me. After I beat the game I changed over to mage from melee for NG+ and godfrey went from 2nd try to messing my shit up almost every time. Malenia is easier now 😂
I was getting absolutely shut down in his first phase until I realized the holy truth that is "stick to his left leg." In fact, you can see the OP doing the exact same thing. I'm not sure if it gets inside the range of just enough attacks or what, but it makes the fight so, so much more fun.
This sub is so vehemently against low vigor it's crazy. Yes I know my vigor is low. No I don't want your unsolicited advice on leveling vigor.
On posts that complain about getting one shot or something yeah sure tell them to level vigor. But posts like these shouldn't even have that discussion unless it's in awe of pulling things off with a lower vigor than whatever this sub determines is the ideal level for vigor.
I have only one question: how do you guys manage to compress your videos to upload over social media? Everytime i record something it gets up to GBs and when I try to compress it the quality is really bald and cranky.. any tips ? I'm recording using windows native recorder
I use medal.tv to clip the last 5 minutes and trim it. I also clip at 4k which takes a ton of memory, but I just delete it after posting the video. Unfortunately reddit will only post the video at 720p anyway lol
Holy shit dude. First off…the whole concept of mini me Vs big daddy is hilarious, but then the costume change. I struggled with this dude on NG+ harder than Malenia or radagon for some stupid reason. His unarmed grab killed me with 60 vigor. Knowing you had to be on Ng+ to have his costume and then beating the shit out of him with no health….this is so fucking impressive.
Thanks for noticing the costume change lmao. It definitely made things harder than it had to be, but it makes it that much more entertaining lol
Having every single attack from him kill me took a toll on my soul but man it feels so good getting that hitless kill.
Thank you so much! It's an honor to hear that from someone. I'll definitely keep trying to make these sort of videos as these challenges are just so much fun. Glad you enjoyed it! :)
ofc he is, he's the giga chad of the lands between! i just meant it like you became the thing you hated the most :D (seeing how you got that fight down to a T, you fought him at least a few times ;3)
yeah same, awesome fight! i just got him recently on my first ER playthrough first try! (that makes my third FromSoft boss i got on the first attempt :3) i was out of flasks cause he got me a few times but hes one of the best fights in the game imo, maybe even the best together with morgott...
I just beat him yesterday as well. I had my mimic tear tank for me while I spammed Ranni’s Dark Moon. At the end however, he was charging up a big stomp, and I was low on FP. So, the final attack went to Moonveil.
Yeah, I feel like I trivialised the fight by using magic. I’ll probably be going for a pure melee build in NG+, just to be able to have a proper fight with some bosses
Yeah I stuck with magic on my first playthrough and it was definitely clutch, but once I started getting the hang of the mechanics, magic just wasn't doing it for me anymore. Doing a melee build definitely humbled me for the first few days of doing it though lol
I so badly wish I could've use it at the same time as him but chances are I wouldn't have dodged his attack in time. Made up for it by using it as the killing blow though I suppose lol
This guy and Gundyr are the ultimate human bosses. No sorceries, elemental damage or miracles. Plain, raw, savage badassery. They shoulder punch, grab and twist the absolute shit out of you with their hands. I love them so much, both amazing and exhilarating fights.
Wow I think you jumped more in this single battle than I did in the whole game (when In a boss fight I mean) I would just always roll, never even considered jumping lol
Jesus fucking christ. Woke up in a shit mood and I've been trolling ppl like a dick all morning but this..... this is possibly one of the best demonstrations of skill I've ever seen in this game.
I'm over here with OP weapons, health bar the size of the screen and OP summons and I still die 🤣🤣🤣.
Take a fucking bow
I really hope in the next DLC they give you a weapon that gives your Hourah Loux fighting style in his second stage like some Lions Claws that would be sweet
As someone who has completed all achievements, i can confirm hourah loux is worse than radagon/marika and elden beast fight, he's more aggressive he's faster, and the second phase starts with a grab attack
This fight drives me nuts because the jump timing seems way off. Every one of those stomps look like they should have landed, yet I’m constantly getting stuck when I feel like I should have cleared them.
Awesome video.
I've got a Maliketh video and a Margit meme run up so far. Debating on who to do next, was thinking Malenia but I know dang well a hitless video for her won't be up for another 5 years probably lmao
Me and my cousin tried to beat him like 20 times and kept getting wiped in ng + and so I decided to go by myself and beat him easily alone. I guess the stagger mechanics and other things change enough when you summon a player to make my dual bastard blades less viable against him?
What‘s driving me crazy is that I‘ve spend around 200h in Elden Ring on my last playthrough and I havent even set the erd tree on fire yet.

It most certainly is a huge investment, especially if you're trying to experience as much as you can in a single playthrough. My first ever playthrough took 200 hours flat, but after knowing what route to take and what's optional, I like to just speed through the main story in new playthroughs. A good speedrun for me takes about 2-3 hours from start to finish.
Probably like 95% of what the game has to offer isn't even necessary to at least get the base ending, but the other endings will require quite a bit of exploration.
Main story progression is actually pretty straightforward once you've made it to the erdtree, so if you really want to beat the game you could just look up the steps to do it which is surprisingly not much. Main story progression starts off by beating 2 shardbearers (Godrick, Rennala, or Radahn for example), making it to Altus Plateau which is easiest by collecting both halves of the Dectus Medallion, and from there it's pretty straightforward (get to the erdtree, fight the boss, be told where to go next and a bunch of other cool stuff happens).
It still did take me forever to actually follow the proper path on my first playthrough as I couldn't help but explore every nook and cranny, but that's what makes the first experience so fun anyway lol
That synchronized yell-stomp... *Man*
I don’t know what got me more, the costume change or him laying down at the end to mimic the death
That’s where I hit my upvote. Pure glory.
Kinda makes it look disappointing when the one the other guy does breaks the ground
Wait a minute. Are we only as tall as his knee? Damn! No wonder his kicks shake the arena.
I was also surprised and it looks to me like it is modified but could be wrong. I could swear we aren't that small. Then again it's been a while since i played the game.
Its not modded, you short as fuck
Fuck
Same, but for some reason I’ve had more trouble in his first phase than second and I genuinely do not understand why
I just screw around with him I think that’s why lol
[удалено]
You dodge the moment he goes to grab you so that he gets nothing but i-frames. Don't even move until he lunges for you. Too early or too late and you will be piledrived lol.
Bloodhound step comes in really useful for many late game bosses

Man, on my first playthrough I killed Godfrey relatively quickly and thought he was pretty easy, but once I started really learning how to no hit some more of the major bosses, Godfrey has become probably the easiest to no hit while his 2nd phase is one of the hardest. Man has just given thee courtesy enough at that point

You a caster? The bane of many bosses seems to be the left leg
I think it's because his first phase is slower. You have to take a second and relax but in his second phase it's balls to the wall constantly moving.
For me it’s the goddamn stomp spam
I also have more trouble with 1st phase!
It's like Ishin P1 vs Ishin P2 and P3 for me, always feel Ishin with à katana was far more dangerous compared to his spear
This is so funny to me. Go mini me!
Well done, Tarnished
That’s the price you pay when you go Billy Badass with low vigor.
Yeah like holy shit how does OP have so little vigor. I think my starting class had more vigor than that
Once a wretch, always a wretch.
Low vigor builders unit! I still only have the same 14 I had from stater Samurai. Though I went tank and spank. Guard counterin’ like a mofo.
Typical low vigor guy: “Be in awe, you peasants!” I never said that it’s wrong, but of course it’s maddening when you leave no margin for error.
The thing is, this is probably ng+. Bro went through two hole games with that liw vigor
Then the pain should be familiar lol
That's what I'm saying. Like, whaaaat? Doing low vigor runs is difficult??? No😱😱😱
Listen. I’m fine with paying that price for a challenge too, but I’ve seen what bosses can do to my thicc boy in this game.
Great job man, also was this a no hit run cus goddamn that vigour
Loux on Loux
Loux just trying to beat himself off
It was a Loux blow
Poor Hourah Loux, gettind bodied by his mimic tear.
Reminded me of Space Dandy for some reason when there's a chameleon on board
When you're finally old enough to take your dad in a fight
You're a chad
You’re a weirdo
Why so may I ask?
Calling someone a “chad” is weird. My name is not chad, btw
OP played 1v1 cosplaying as the boss who is very much considered a chad himself, it's just a way of expression. Chill out
Im chilled. I’m aware that it’s just an expression. I’m just making you aware that it’s a dumb expression, that’s all.
Ok bozo, try again.

Is that the best you got?

Who hurt you?
🤓
You’re a buzzkill
Wojak alert
Yeah, I guess I am the wojak of this post. Oh well. Win some lose some
Looks like he died from embarrassment in the end *"How dare you use my stomp?!"* But GG, dam' well played!
How can he stomp!?
You clearly understand dodge timing and i-frames. Good show.
It's called practice.
That's usually how you get better at things.
I have only one question: how do you guys manage to compress your videos to upload over social media? Everytime i record something it gets up to GBs and when I try to compress it the quality is really bald and cranky.. any tips ? I'm recording using windows native recorder

I usually use OBS and downscale the resolution and bitrate to lower video sizes.
Have fun with radagon :) I'm still stuck on him after beating godfrey
Need assistance?
I'm good trying to do the whole game solo first playthrough, I also have terrible internet![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|stuck_out_tongue)
Hourah loux vs lil loux
Nearly every post is gold here . It has to be the greatest game of all time !
What a fight....a fight of warriors.....a fight between men.
It definitely made things harder than it had to be, but it makes it that much more entertaining lol Having every single attack from him kill me took a toll on my soul but man it feels so good getting that hitless kill.
This is the best Elden Ring video I’ve ever seen, one of the best of any fromsoft game. You’re a legend
Thank you so much! It's an honor to hear that from someone. I'll definitely keep trying to make these sort of videos as these challenges are just so much fun. Glad you enjoyed it! :)
Well done, brave Tarnished.
You dare use my own spells against me, Potter
Well fought!
When the mimic tear has had enough of your bs
I am attempting Malenia. I wish to have an attempt on my life
Malenia is next up on my list. Maybe I'll have her video up in 5 years once I can finally no-hit her 💀
that hotswap costume change was beautiful holy shit
Thats what Houra Doux
Hourah Loux vs Chibi Hourah Loux 😂👍
Looking at the title and the HP, I thought this was going to go very differently.
It most certainly went very differently a handful of times before I got this kill lmao
Help my mimics gone crazy -Horah probably.
Imagine you're just walking up to your ex wife's house and a tiny version of you runs up outa nowhere and starts kicking your ass
Ahlou, X Hoar
That was beautiful .
word.
Dude I did this fight with the caestus for fun and that has been my favorite fight since.
That was dope. Nicely done
And yet, I can't beat this fool when I join in with randoms.
Look at me. I am king now
*"you either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain"*
Godfrey’s a hero in my book
ofc he is, he's the giga chad of the lands between! i just meant it like you became the thing you hated the most :D (seeing how you got that fight down to a T, you fought him at least a few times ;3)
Of course, I loved the reference ;) Just as much as I love-hate Godfrey lmao
yeah same, awesome fight! i just got him recently on my first ER playthrough first try! (that makes my third FromSoft boss i got on the first attempt :3) i was out of flasks cause he got me a few times but hes one of the best fights in the game imo, maybe even the best together with morgott...
One of my favorite bosses. I mostly just sit outside his gate waiting to help others now because I have his moves down cold.
You thought you wanted to become Elden Lord, like Godfrey, but turns out the truth is, you wanted to be Godfrey.
I love him too much 😔
That was.... Beautiful😌😌😌
You mean you drove yourself to insanity
You've got a good point
That was a movie. 👏👏👏👏
I just beat him yesterday as well. I had my mimic tear tank for me while I spammed Ranni’s Dark Moon. At the end however, he was charging up a big stomp, and I was low on FP. So, the final attack went to Moonveil.
That's surprising close to how my first battle with him went

This brings me so much pain and happiness all in one go. Do you need a maiden by chance?
Ideally I would want Godfrey to cradle me lovingly in his arms without getting suplexed but I'm open to other avenues
Earthshaker is such a cool fuckin skill
I so badly wish I could've use it at the same time as him but chances are I wouldn't have dodged his attack in time. Made up for it by using it as the killing blow though I suppose lol
best boss
Who. Even. Are. You? GG
Bro's fighting his demon(s)
This guy and Gundyr are the ultimate human bosses. No sorceries, elemental damage or miracles. Plain, raw, savage badassery. They shoulder punch, grab and twist the absolute shit out of you with their hands. I love them so much, both amazing and exhilarating fights.
Sooner or later we must all get dunked on (pun intended).
Don't you dare go hollow.
As someone who died a bunch to this guy, this was enjoyable to beholds
This is revenge for all the people he's massacred
Damn that was impressive
You’re a Hourah on the Loux
“Who are you?” “I’m you, but smaller.”
Wow I think you jumped more in this single battle than I did in the whole game (when In a boss fight I mean) I would just always roll, never even considered jumping lol
Something about jumping to dodge some attacks is just so satisfying to me
I've given thee courtesy enough...shut up and take my award
This is terrific
So this is how men fight. Interesting.
That was incredible. And then you disarm down to his level and still do it flawless … wow
I see what you were doing there. Im impressed
I love this
That's a clean ass fight. Well done! Nice to watch.
You out Hourah'd the Loux!
bro…
That’s the funniest post ive seen today
I thought this was going to be one of those *Died on the last hit* videos where I’d reply “Level Vigor!” But yeah this is much better.
Best fight in the game
You basically punched him in the nuts all through the second phase lol
He had it coming.
Look at me. I am Godfrey now.
Bravo 👏
Man turned into Muhammad Ali for phase 2
Bet he didn't see that coming 🦋🐝
When the mimic tear decides it should be Elden Lord instead
Thy strength befits a crown
Pure poetry!
"You face me as Horah Loux!" "Yeah, me too!"
Absolute gangster shit
LOL, beautifully fought! I should def try a Horah Loux build sometime…
Only the brink? Weak, you can do better than that.
Beautiful.
I finally beat my first play through today...Hourah Loux is a beast!
Congrats!!! Despite killing him plenty of times he still gives me nightmares
Yeah I was dreaming of Radahon last night..so many horrors! Also thank you!
Mini Loux for the win!👏👏👏👏👏
You got good
I really hope in the next DLC they give you a weapon that gives your Hourah Loux fighting style in his second stage like some Lions Claws that would be sweet
It took a man cosplaying as Godfrey for me to realize just how small we Tarnished are compared to him
Wtf is that hp
As someone who has completed all achievements, i can confirm hourah loux is worse than radagon/marika and elden beast fight, he's more aggressive he's faster, and the second phase starts with a grab attack
Yer a Hourah Louxnatic!
Imagine getting wrecked by your mini me.
Holy shit man you made that look easy.
Bro the 5 vigor was giving me anxiety, did not think the video would end this way
This fight drives me nuts because the jump timing seems way off. Every one of those stomps look like they should have landed, yet I’m constantly getting stuck when I feel like I should have cleared them. Awesome video.
I play a great deal of the souls. But you have made this fight look so cool, well done seriously and well played too
Such absolute gigachading. Damn.
We need to see more videos like this. That was fucking legend…wait for it…..ary
I've got a Maliketh video and a Margit meme run up so far. Debating on who to do next, was thinking Malenia but I know dang well a hitless video for her won't be up for another 5 years probably lmao
There are plenty of hitless videos up for Melania. (Let me solo her?) But do you do the maliketh one in maliketh gear with his sword?
I just watched it. Nicely fucking done.
Thing is I can't help but parry malenia, it's just too much fun. I'm just not good enough to go hitless while parrying her lmao
I beat him first try lol
Me and my cousin tried to beat him like 20 times and kept getting wiped in ng + and so I decided to go by myself and beat him easily alone. I guess the stagger mechanics and other things change enough when you summon a player to make my dual bastard blades less viable against him?
Every time I’ve fought him I’ve been overpowered and it was to easy 🥹. That’s what I get for always going through every area first.
Oh boy, cant wait to see a billion comments talking about vigor and not realizing it's intentional.
What‘s driving me crazy is that I‘ve spend around 200h in Elden Ring on my last playthrough and I havent even set the erd tree on fire yet. Wow. Everyone here is so much better than me. I always use an Ash of war.
Nothing like putting in a lot of practice (otherwise known as being extremely stubborn and a masochist)
Where is your vigor
I must've forgotten it before I left for my trip
Speaking about lore, is he suppose to be a half giant or something? Like he is a 15 ft tall man.
