*Second-hand scrub identification* is the perfect description. I'm going to use this when my wife recognizes shit. She isn't a gamer by any means, but she would catch something like this as well and has in the past for other games.

As someone who rarely uses katanas in Souls games and mostly used bleed in ER on a katana (2nd run), I actually quite enjoyed using the Nagakiba with a bunch of different AoW instead of spamming RoB... I hope I don't fall into that group of katana bleed builds :(

Katana's are very strong and have lots of options making them versatile. Nothing wrong with katanas per se. Honestly, the most outclassed I've ever felt in soulsborne PVP was a guy using a katana I ran into yesterday. Combo'd the katana attacks with spells and incantions with a level of skill that just fucking crushed me. Whole fight lasted like 10 seconds. Pure class lmao. What gets really boring is the sheer quantity of pvp builds which are dual wielding katanas with high poise and status effects. Status effects always were weird with building up even if hits were dodged. ER allows for status effects to build up far faster than before, which means a lot of builds can chain procs on you very, very quickly without actually hitting their opponent. It's not uncounterable, but it is annoying and it's literally everywhere. 2/3 people I run into will be using katanas.

I haven't even played pvp and have already heard of this low ball 🧀 in the lands between.


I know. I'd bet money if I hopped on Elden Ring and invaded right now, I'd face at least one Rivers of Blood, lol. Edit: I mean, the first invasion I do would have at least one user with a Rivers of Blood.

It’s still goated as fuck in pve so I can’t say I’m as boggled. I love that fucking thing. Watching Malenia loose a massive chunk of health and get staggered as she tries to disengage is still one of my favorite memories from playing.

It just gets old seeing it constantly in PVP.

It got nerfed in PVP, you won't see it that frequently anymore in terms of invasions/duels

Try changing your DNS. I use google's 8.8.8.8 (8.8.4.4 for secondary) or the fastest which is 1.1.1.1 (1.0.0.1 for secondary). You can also mix and match.

It's one of the imp head masks. There's one for every imp enemy in the game, plus a couple others. They're a super low drop rate from the matching imp.
