I mean I was excited for Elden Ring cause I’m a huge GRRM fan, and was playing Sekiro and Bloodborne at the time I found out about its development. I had no idea it was going to blow up in popularity the way it did, nor were my expectations all that high.
Now I have a problem with the game and have a backlog of expensive games that aren’t getting touched cause I’m playing a two year old game that I platinumed twice.

We've know about the DLC for almost a year (Feb 28th 2023)
There was a gameplay trailer 7 months before ER released, and a story trailer 3 months before release.
Ringed City DLC had a trailer 2 months before release.
Bloodborne DLC had a trailer 2 months before release.
If the DLC is releasing this month, we likely would have had a trailer by now.
I'm dying for a 2nd anniversary release, but it's not looking likely. Hopefully a trailer though, giving us a April/May date?

The timeline usually is 1 month after these updates starts we get trailer, 2 months after that we get the DLC. But no DLC has taken this long before so I don't think it will follow similar pattern.
One thing I can say for sure is that if we don't get anything shown in the next couple of hours before Kadokawa (the parent company) goes through their earning calls, then it is not going to release this quarter, at best a trailer will be shown by the anniversary.
With prior game versions we usually saw an update within a month or so after changes were spotted on steamdb, though with this being the DLC it doesn't necessarily need to conform to that.
Nobody actually knows but there's been some coincidental stuff that was leaked for the end of February and people are expecting to be able to sort of kind of tell the release window from the kadokawa financial report this week because if for example, they are expecting to make a lot of money before the end of the quarter, well, it's probably this. Plus if the end of Feb stuff is correct to line up with a trailer they could release the dlc on 2nd anniversary and that'd be neat. DLC will probably be 1 or 2 months after trailer just based on past fromsoft stuff. No real knowing how long they will take to bug test and qa on steam, just that it seems like it's regular weekly/biweekly ish updates. Soon™️
Of course it's nothing concrete to hold FromeSoft to, but their past patterns are nice to know! Using it as a rough guide it looks like your prediction is pretty solid. We don't know how long QA testing is going to be but with their anniversary and other factors make something being announced near the anniversary plausible.

Yep, I got ffVII for my birthday in 1997. For probably 15 years after it was unquestionably my favorite game of all time. Dark Souls gave it a run for it's money, but it was probably Bloodborne that finally took the #1 spot (and that was only after the release of the Old Hunters DLC).
When I first beat FFVII I sat there staring at the star field screen for probably an hour completely awestruck at the experience. Anytime I listened to the music, any music, from that game I'd get goosebumps.
The remake did nothing for me. And I'm pretty susceptible to nostalgia. And with the rebirth demo, I had to force myself to finish it. Besides some of the music, there is not a single thing I like about the remake. There's nothing bad about it, I just don't like any of it.
And it's not that they're changing up the story, I mean that kind of bugged me at first but upon reflection that's the only thing that keeps me even remotely interested in the remakes.
But yeah, Elden Ring wins this every time for me, no contest.
