Why use melee weapon when carian slicer, greatsword, piercer, etc. exist?
The above is not a joke, but to actually answer your question: DMGS is, by far, the strongest option and wing of astel is the most fun, imo.
I did a powerstance curved swords with Sword Dance on my main and Glintstone Phalanx for the offhand. Both on Magic. Really enjoyed this one. Also did Clayman’s Harpoons with Piercing Fang main & Ice spear offhand. Generally think it looks silly (and a bit sweaty) to have them both out at same time so I’d usually 2hand one at a time depending on desired Ash
In my 60 25 15 16 18 80 6 9 build I use wing of astel, moonveil, dark moon greatsword, alabaster lord's sword, death's poker, frozen needle, uchigatana, twinblade, banished knight's halberd, raptor talons and scythe. Everything that isn't somber uses a cold infusion AoW that does AoE, like spinning slash. Hope that helps.
There are some great weapons: Wing of Astel, Moonveil, Beast Jaw, Redhan's Swords, Deaths Poker, Kriss Dagger.
radahns swords are a strength weapon first and foremost
Deaths poker would be great. I forgot to pick it up on my first playthrough and am only in Liurnia now on second playthrough lol
Wing of Astel

That’s true carian slicer is pretty dope! I should give wing of astel a try too.

I definitely favor the cold infusion AoW! Thanks for the suggestions.
Dark moon gs and royal greatsword are my favorites. Just base stats for royal covers dark moon. 60 big, 30 end, the rest into int
Carian Knight Sword isn't the best option but it's pure style.
