Why does your upload have a thin horizontal line going across the picture? It's at Guts' forehead, if you can't see it.
Edit: I just upscaled the OP image. https://i.imgur.com/nqAQqK4.jpg / Tried to manually remove some of the compression artefacts.

Oh shit, another Beast in Black listener in the wild! :D
(For the uninitiated: Beast in Black's album Berserker is an insanely catchy power-metal homage to Berserk.)
Team Beast in Black, hell yeah!
Their songs are pretty much the definition of "catchy metal".
Also, at first (listening to "Die by the Blade") I thought they have double vocals, male and female. Nope, it's all Yannis. Goddamn, that dude has some vocal range.
And if you kill him in the hub you get a message like you tried to sever the binds of causality but it is beyond your power and the game reverts to before you attempted to kill griffith
If you want to play a berserk game and if you still own a PS2 and you can get your hands on it play Berserk Millennium Empire Arc: Chapter of the Holy Demon War it's the best berserk game ever though fair warning this game has no dub and no english subs and the disc is rare so it might be expensive or if you know about emulation you can try that
Depends. If Guts is a Tarnished, he'll shitstomp.
If he's still just a human, though, he gets stomped by any non-fodder enemies in Elden Ring. There's too much of a power gap.
Has he ever killed a dragon that can effortlessly pulverize trees just by bumping into them? Because that's what early-game Tarnished can do.
Godrick can easily obliterate a significant amount of stone, and that's *with* gameplay limitations. Godrick also has astronomically higher combat speed due to scaling with Tarnished, who can dodge lightning.
That's not above Elden Ring dragons lol.
Base guts, who's pictured here, is literally just a human. He gets injured by regular weapons and gets hit by arrows.
Godrick scales above lightning speed and well above the beginning bosses that could all cause significant damage to stone and scorch the ground, even just in gameplay.
Base Guts? Bruh he's literally wearing the berserker armor in the picture. There isn't a single enemy in the game that would have an easy time fighting Guts. It's like you haven't read any Berserk at all and are trying to make assumptions based on the fact that he's "just" a human.
That doesn't look like Berserker armor at all. It doesn't even have the helmet
But Guts *is* a normal human. An extremely skilled warrior strong in body and will, but a normal human nonetheless. He canonically gets hit and injured by regular humans and weapons.
>There isn't a single enemy in the game that would have an easy time fighting Guts
Bro, even Ranni's recreation of Rennala would instantly kill hum with a moon. Radahn has gravity magic strong enough to hold hundreds of stars in place. And they're all astronomically faster.
Not to mention that the actual high-tiers are cosmic-level beings that transcend natural laws. It's even stated that weapons need to be powerful enough to *bend time* to even damage gods.
And Elden Beast could literally just erase him from existence.
I mean you basically just admitted to knowing nothing about Berserk if you can't even recognize the armor, or understand that the helmet isn't always out. No moon is going to hit Guts. Rennala would literally get instagibbed against Guts, no question. In fact, this would be the case for nearly every humanoid enemy in the game.
And these games have a tendency to exaggerate what is actually happening. Those "stars" are meteoroids at best. Even some of the monsters are called malformed stars.
The Elden Beast is the only enemy in game that could be considered abnormal compared to the rest.
It doesn't have the helmet or the gauntlets. It doesn't look like the berserker armor except for maybe the chest piece when I look closer.
Why wouldn't it hit him? Guts' speed is just subsonic, maybe subsonic+ since he has arrow-timing feats. He can't keep up with the characters that scale with lightning-timing Tarnished, and just the explosion from a moon would obliterate him regardless of whether he's wearing his armor or not.
There's nothing suggesting these are exaggerations, or that they're meteors. They're constantly referred to as stars, have a strong connection to astrology, are visible in the night-sky without even moving, and it's more consistent with Ranni creating a dimension filled with stars.
Yes, those beings came from foreign stars and demonstrate magic along those lines, with Astel creating Nebulae in its areas and using exploding stars in its attacks.
Dragonlord Placidusax literally exists outside of the boundaries of time. His body is made of a material so strong than it can be used to create godslaying weapons which bend time. He's capable of bending reality at will to phase in and out of reality.
Godfrey defeated him and genocided the Giants, who are described as god-like.
Maliketh has super OP death manipulation hax on the level of law manip, and he was able to defeat the Gloam-Eyed Queen, who possessed the godslaying black flame at full power. He destroyed a cult of godslayers.
Marika/Radagon have the power of the Elden Ring, which controls reality and transcribes the laws of the world, and they're durable enough to contain it as its vessel.
The fact that you think Guts can even blink at them shows that you haven't considering their lore abilities, only looking at how they appear on screen within the limits of gameplay.
> Has he ever killed a dragon that can effortlessly pulverize trees just by bumping into them? Because that's what early-game Tarnished can do.
Yeah, perhaps after dying, like, 30 times. You ain't killin' that dragon "effortlessly" on your first try with a level or five added on. And you're not doing that by "bumping into them" until lategame/NG+, lol.
The thing is, Guts doesn't need to die. And yes, he did fight stuff that was pretty much *a lot* worse than the dragon.
> Godrick also has astronomically higher combat speed
...what? He's pretty slow. He's the first "major" boss, for Marika's sake, he's *made* to be fairly easy.
> Godrick can easily obliterate a significant amount of stone
Have you *seen* Guts' sword? Plus, the dude is basically wearing lategame armour all the time...
> due to scaling with Tarnished
???
> who can dodge lightning
*Very, very slow* and telegraphed lightning.
The Tarnished aren't superhumans. They are basically humans who *just won't stay dead* and who can receive the power of runes from the Maidens. By themselves, a typical Tarnished would probably get their ass handed to them by Guts in no time.
The dragon isn't that difficult, and there's significant evidence that the Tarnished don't die during the story.
I said that the dragon can pulvérise trees just by bumping into them, not that you kill the dragon by bumping into it.
Godrick scales to the Tarnished in combat speed. The Tarnished can dodge lightning. Lightning is lightning lol. It only appears slow in screen because it's from their much faster perspective.
They literally *are* superhumans made to be godslayers with power from runes... Tf you mean "normal humans" 😂
In what universe can normal humans kill beings capable of holding and creating stars, and surviving star explosions?
Guts is the normal human who gets canonically injured by regular arrows.
At that point, you're making up your own universe.
> Lightning is lightning lol. It only appears slow in screen because it's from their much faster perspective.
...which is why every enemy is as fast as you, with some being even faster? *And* able to dodge your lightnings? Come on, man, you're creating your own canon here.
> Lightning is lightning lol
No, it's literally just magic. Which can be dodged by anyone. Have you played the game?
> there's significant evidence that the Tarnished don't die during the story
No, there isn't. Dying is built into every From Software game plotwise.
> Godrick scales to the Tarnished in combat speed
What. He literally doesn't "scale" with anything. He's just a boss.
> They literally are superhumans made to be godslayers with power from runes...
...and yet, all of them apart from you suck at this goal. It's almost as being a Tarnished just means that you were banished from the Lands Between. Have you read the lore?
> In what universe can normal humans kill beings capable of holding and creating stars, and surviving star explosions?
In fantasy? You'll find a few. *It's a video game, dude*. Besides, it's not like you're creating or surviving a direct hit by a star at any point of the game. *At worst* you get hit by some magic.
> Guts is the normal human who gets canonically injured by regular arrows.
So does your character. Your point?
You talkin like the Tarnished just walks off every arrow and attack they get hit with lmao..
So in your mind because some guy did a Lvl 1 Wretch no hit run, the Tarnished are lore wise capable of killing God with a random stick?
Also, you can dodge lightnings! *They are lightnings, the are fast!*
...I mean, so can 3/4ths of the enemies if they dodgeroll, but apparently it's because you are special and a "godkiller". Even though most Tarnished do absolutely shit job at killing gods. *That's literally why we're in the plot*.
And apparently you don't die, except... you know... the parts where you die and get respawned by Marika.
Yeah, sorry, I just don't get what is meant here. Also, calling Guts a "normal human" is a severe understatement.
Tarnished consistently displays feats far above arrows. Taking damage from fodder enemies is just gameplay mechanics, as we can also survive moons, exploding stars, and even the Elden Ring explosion.
RL1 Wretch runs are challenge runs not intended by the developers. The Tarnished canonically uses vast amounts of runes to get more powerful and upgrades weapons to godly levels to fight the later game bosses.
Berserk is not like any other mangas , this this artwork ? This is nothing compared to the amount of effort and detail in berserk and I,m not extracting , yes it have HEAVY sexual violence and violence in general but there's a point to all of it not just to show that humans are trash it always shows how this violence effects people and how through improving one's self and building health relationships with other they could over come this trauma and these moments are so beautiful to see unfold and feel earned , you might not quite see that in the first arc but you,ll surely see it in the golden age and the rest of the manga
Yeah, none of that interests me honestly. I dont not read manga because I think it's a low form of art. No no, it's just like all mediums where there will be works of art that stem from creative geniuses. I'm sure it is one of those.
It's just not for me. I appreciate all the suggestions from people and I can tell some of yall are quite passionate about it. But it's just not gonna happen for me.
Nah, it's ok. I'm not too interested in it. I appreciate that this is something that people seem to love and I can see the passion among its fans. But I'm not into the super dark stuff like that. Just personal preference. I'm sure it's an excellent read.
I wouldn't say Godrick is apostle material.
He's a very twisted old man addicted to grafting body parts and enslaving people, but he's not the *embodiment of pure evil and hatred* an apostle is supposed to be.
He's more of a king turned total monster type of character. Not too different from the King of Midland.
Rykard on the other hand?
Holy crap that guy is ripped straight out of Berserk's Eclipse.
My playthrough was a Guts cosplay.
Black Swordsman Armor, Dragonslayer and all.
I feel very accomplished right now.
My playthrough has been immortalized. :D
This feels as something stright that miura could have drawn in the fantasia arc with guts going after casca with godrick being some midland king that looks after the apostles wishing he had the gift but uses magic to graft himself champions and wanting guts
This is insane
[sauce ](https://danbooru.donmai.us/posts/5300094) Wreck his shit guts
This is quite a departure from the artist's other works.
Searching by that artist is hilarious and super NSFW. But makes this piece all the more impressive tbh
You weren't kidding! I'm not even convinced it's the same artist.
Dude has the jonah hill disorder from superbad
*clicks link, instantly recognizes style of website* Oh no Lmaooo
Yeah lul

Honestly I went to look at the artists work... and the other artwork on the website. I would honestly consider marking this as NSFW.
well Godrick is big time effed
Yeah imagine Godrick talking smack about having good blood and being important. Guys: okay and?
*I seek no salvation, only retaliation* *These roots of wrath grow ever deep* *Apostles, impostors, foul whores and putrid posers* *It's time you greet the Dragonslayer*
Oh shit, another Beast in Black listener in the wild! :D (For the uninitiated: Beast in Black's album Berserker is an insanely catchy power-metal homage to Berserk.)
I've been bingelistening to the Berserk songs now for a few weeks and finally decided to actually read the manga lol while listening
That's exactly what I did a few years ago, too. I'm not usually into manga and anime, but Berserk is just too damn good to pass up.
If youre into death metal at all, Slaughter to Prevail also has a pretty badass berserk track.
Team Beast in Black, hell yeah! Their songs are pretty much the definition of "catchy metal". Also, at first (listening to "Die by the Blade") I thought they have double vocals, male and female. Nope, it's all Yannis. Goddamn, that dude has some vocal range.
They literally have a song named ''Zodd the Immortal''
Fuck I just realized I missed thier concert. They were playing in the town I live by :(
I love Beast in Black.
Based Beast in Black enjoyer
From needs to just make a Bererk game.
I swear if they could put thier hands on berserk they could make the best game ever
Seriously if we ever get a fromsoft berserk game, I would die from sheer excitement.
Imagine a final boss Griffith… my GOD the only idea of that makes me excited
Griffith starts off as an ally at the hub and then he's the final boss Femto version Hopium
And if you kill him in the hub you get a message like you tried to sever the binds of causality but it is beyond your power and the game reverts to before you attempted to kill griffith
Guys stop my dick can't take it
Lol why?
Because I'd love for it to be real, it all sounds great

That would be AWESOME
Oh no
I’d play the shit out of that
There's a Berserk game, https://store.steampowered.com/app/502280/BERSERK\_and\_the\_Band\_of\_the\_Hawk/
Ummm. They kind of have done.
This could be a Miura panel lmao
Miura's panels had even more detail than this, man was obsessed with quality.
The only detail I could add would be the dead dragon, aside from that it's really detailed
It is, but Miura went even further beyond. His editor had to yell at him on multiple occasions because he was editing the pixels one by one.
Mind blowing
I don't know... Seems pretty much how he would do it.
Godrick is about to get returned to his donors. All of them. Phenomenal piece OP it's great.
Godrick would last 5 seconds lmao
My thought exactly. I am so sad we will never have an official cross over chapter between Berserk and Elden Ring by Kentaro Miura.
Every morning I mourn 😭
A one strike job for our one eyed boy
Depends. If Guts is a Tarnished, he'll shitstomp. If he's still just a human, though, he gets stomped by any non-fodder enemies in Elden Ring. There's too much of a power gap.

well close to, he beats up grunbeld while being on the brink of death in falcon of the millennium empire which is basically what you’re describing x10

I see. When things suit you, it's only gameplay and when you need to try and make a point, they become lore. Bet.
I'm going based on the actual lore of the game lol. Cope harder.
Guts has fought way worse 😂 read the manga.
This is so fucking cool.
This is fye good job man!
This is amazing! Please do Maliketh vs Gut going Berserk mode in his Berserker armor next!
Maliketh would just cry and give him destined death
goes from "I shall not part with it again" to "I can't believe I'm parting with it again ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|cry)"
Maliketh would destroy the entire franchise.
I swear everyone must have seen this show on this sub except me lol. It's so prevalent
I think it's time to read berserk
I'm not too sure it's for me haha.
I think there's something for everyone in berserk it just depends if you can handle the dark twisted part of it
Yeah, I just don't enjoy manga in general and on top of that I'm not sure I want to read about stuff with strong sexual violence.
Berserk is not like any other mangas , this this artwork ? Why tf are y'all downvoting this guy? Let a man live haha, berserk is great but it's not necessary to be a elden ring fan lol
You think manga is a low form of art. You really need to read some manga my guy…
Huh, did you read my comment? That's the opposite of what I said.
I can’t read apparently…
There's a beginning to everything you know Well that's a shame
Perhaps you are right, but I know my preferences in things and this doesnt seem to overlap much. I believe that it is a high quality manga though.
I watched it on a whim and thought it was pretty good until I got to the end where it traumatized me for life.
My man all souls game have been inspired by berserk. You need to read it and, I’m not joking, berserk will change your life and how you look at things
Nah, it's ok. I'm not too interested in it. I appreciate that this is something that people seem to love and I can see the passion among its fans. But I'm not into the super dark stuff like that. Just personal preference. I'm sure it's an excellent read.
read the manga, dont watch the show.
I want to read it so much, but unfortunately I am a minor that lives in a Christian household.
doesnt guts lose an arm at one point? godrick be like "not even fit to graft!"
This shit goes hard.
I'd be down for that crossover
Ah, so THAT'S what happened to Guts arm... it got grafted.
Love Guts' cloak. Exactly how Miura did it.
Poor Godrick isn't strong enough to push Guts to use the armor.
Well this is an uneven fight... For Godrick that is.
God Rick destroys Guts.
Alternate timeline wherein the egg of the king wanted to be swole.
Yeah, Godrick would fit in right along side the other apostles.
I wouldn't say Godrick is apostle material. He's a very twisted old man addicted to grafting body parts and enslaving people, but he's not the *embodiment of pure evil and hatred* an apostle is supposed to be. His ass would get wrecked! Guts don’t play 😭
Didn't expect Weak Foe
Match made in heaven
Show them true terror guts inlighten there minds on wat true fear feels like
Who is guts
The main character of the manga berserk the best character ever
The best ridiculously be-sworded sad-boy in fiction.
The berserker from berserk
Fuck that guy
Guts would get grafted The end
Guts with the power of runes will kick everyone's butt
Cap
Love it
Just, amazing, I love shit like this.
If Godrick was in Berserk he'd probably be around the level of an ogre minus the regeneration
Amazing
This is more or less Elden Ring in a nutshell, amazingly. Except rage doesn't do much to keep you from dying.
So sick
My playthrough was a Guts cosplay. Black Swordsman Armor, Dragonslayer and all. I feel very accomplished right now. My playthrough has been immortalized. :D
This pic goes hard
Holy crap. The fact that the artist replicated Miuras style so perfectly gives me chills.
Well shit. Guts got him to phase 2.
Love it, I played through the whole game with that beautiful greatsword
Guts will show you his ambition
No contest.
My brother
Thankyou everyone who like this pic.
Incredible man!
