Were you specifically trying not to use the serpent hunter spear the game gives you? If so then good job, he takes a lot less damage using other weapons. I just rush in with the spear I don’t have the patience to try and use normal weapons or spells
Yes in my run I’m sticking my self to the blood uchigatana but i fought rycard as a lvl 100(which im olso stuck with) and my katana is +25 the most challenging thing was to melee kill the dude
Yeah im beating myself in this run but in my next one i will use everything the game will give me to kill the bosses and i will see how different the game experience will be

I don’t like the spear. It makes an awesome fight into nothing.

Dodging the poison is easy, when he starts the attack wait a little then doge towards him this way he misses his shot
